so new cookie run update is rlly cool.... i noticed the silly little heart thingies that the new update has and decided. to give lico onr of then and. man.

i kinda find it. interesting in his regular outfit he's way. more declining of the giftcompared to his aberrant conjurer one?? if that makes sense?? idk i just.

personally him in the 1st image does. sort of make sense for him?? considering how when he was younger he didnt get a lot of recognition and stuff so he was so deprived of recognition to the point he just. startef to like decline any gifts given to him?? orlike he gives it to his licorice servants (UNLESS if its the gifts that he likes then hell accept it ofc dur to the diff dialouge but were going on for this general-gift wise)

so personally i think this also comes to affection as well. sort of. cuz if he never had any recognition then its logical that he never recieved any affection or care whilst groeing up too so. he declines it cuz hes. not used to it and also cuz i feel like. he doesn't want to recieve affection of any sorts?? if i recall correctly from what i remember abt his dialogue he tends to say how he can do everything by himself, and how "he doesn't need friends". and stuff like that. (the i dont need friends part was mentioned in the cookie debate event)

ANWYAYS before i lose focus on what i was going on abt originally due to his mindset usually making him believe he doesnt need anyone else heavilt affects his view of affection?? sort of?? i think he. tends to see it as a useless thing, and that he doesn't need it at all, considering how he practically grew up with.. ANY. so it makes sense for lico to push away any affection or like. gifts and stuff and aaaAAAAAA

i also believe that he also pushes it all away is cuz hes. not used to it?? like at all?? so he doesn't rlly know how to react to receiving it at alland his mindset of him needing no one just. plays a part possibly ok this probably doesnt make sense fUVK

okay umm five things about myself that i like okay:

My hair + my eyes. YEAH thats the first on the list!!! i used to HATE everything abt my hair and eyes (big topic, long story short, growing up surrounded by people who Look Nothing Like Me had young me CRAZY i wanted to change everything abt myself. 0/10) anyway now Im really happy with my hair and i cant help but giggle a bit whenever i go out and have some makeup on like mm my eyes look <3 cute <3 nice brown eyes <3

My writing!!! its not really ABOUT myself but had to include it sorry. genuinely genuinely, when I go back to read old fics or catch up on writing to continue working on my novel, I get giggle and excited thinking damnnn whoever wrote this KNEW what hit <3 and its me!!! I WROTE IT!!! yeah. basically, i get happy reading my stuff so i know i've succeeded

a lot of people say i get along very quickly with people and i am CONSTANTLY laughing or smiling so im gonna say that- i like how happy i am!!! i'll be mid convo and it'll hit me that i've laughed like 20 times 5 mins in and whoever im talking with hasnt stopping laughing either. i like that!! love seeing people smile and laugh and i like how im so open to laughter ig? idk. i sound narcissistic lmao

why is this so hard uuuh. my body. been on a streak ALL LAST WEEK so im gonna keep it going!!!i think i look cute (i borrowed my friend's green mini dress ONCE for a party over the weekend and i think im A Goddess)

umm how fast i am to catch on to things. this is gonna get a bit cultural/religious, but i usually do like recitation (of our holy book) every friday night with a teacher and i like how quickly i can get things memorised. even with poetry!! i used to do poetry competitions and story telling and i kind of pride myself on how fast and well i can memorise smth and connect to it. like how my brain reads it once and picks up on 50 million things and just goes off romanticising everything.

ignore the addition of ophelia, thats bo in disguise. these are doodles for a oneshot i had in mind where lance BEGS bo to take on a new persona so his parents can get off his ass about being in a relationship. (bo agrees, laughing his ass off.) this was pre-ophelia-as-bos-cousin era, so yum!!

this is his mom shes super sweet and nice. shes loud and esily excitable, and also non magical. she knows JACK SHIT about guild stuff, but supports her husband and son anyways. shes also like. a REALLY GOOD COOK. LIKE AN EXCELLENT COOK. she grabs peoples cheeks and squeezes them like an old grandma. definitely gets teary eyed and hugs the living shit out of lance’s spouse when she meets them.

heres both his mom and his dad. itnore how horribly i drew lances dad IGNORE IT its the wrost doodle on the list, but it shows him colored so wtv. hes like closed off, but super respectful. definitely rants about galdoran politics. okay, sure, he has a reputation of being cold hearted in the guild, but he too cried when he saw lances spouse. debating on whether or not he has magic. if he does, then its a low amount and practically useless. hes an adventurer for castle village, and he didnt really get to see his son a lot. its okay tho because they still occasionally talk. this guy sucks at chess. dunno why yall need to know that, but its true. hes basically the exact opposite of his wife. these two are so LOVEY DOVEY though, like an EMBARRASSING AMOUNT. they embarrass lance when they all go out together, actually.

(all but the building of the nursery was decided two months before the actual baby arrived.)

Anyway zhongli gets stupidly giddy with the lil progress theyre having and then outta nowhere afrer xiao is Okay he invites him to go fishing. the dude does Not Get it. is that a lumine influence or is he actually succumbing into karmic insanity he doesnt know but he follows the Geo Archon Definitely Not Fisherman to the marsh thats got fishes and just waits. for an hour probably sitting with a fishing rod waiting in silence he feels stupider by the minute but doesnt wanna point that to zhongli. turns out they forgot the worm bait and the Scrutinization the Seriousness they both have to stick the worm onto the hook is a detail all details i have there makes me crazy. anwyay even with the bait it takes another hour. zhongli goes ok fuck it then Remember when bonanus used to do this (goes knee deep into the lake, sleeves up pants rolled) and guess what the very formal very elegant funeral consultant reverts into a feral uncle just catching fish witg his hands and XIAO DOESNT FUCKING GET ITTT like shishou my lord mr zhongli why are you doing that and hes like TRY THIS KIDDO ITS SO FUN as he gets slapped in the face with jumping fish. xiao gets in but a lot more soaked cus hwo cares abt his outfit in the water bro hes anemo. then hahahwhrshhehehehehe uh oh xiao gets fish slapped next and guess whst happens zhongli goes full on guizhong to splash more water at him xiao gets SO SUSPRISED BUT HESITANT SO ZL SPLASHES MORE and gets absolute destroyed when xiao made up his mind getting over respecting him as his lord to a mere friend of his level. they splish sploosh splash water wars it was fun it was hAPPY theyre both smiling squealing xiao has almost never done this before neither did zhongli but he's seen how parents get to be playful with their little kids and xiao is No Little Kid but he wants to take the chance to introduce a little fun to xiao anwyay even if it gets them Soaked as Hell and theyre dumping themselvws under the water kicking it to their faces coughing when their noses get filled too much of it THEY STILL CHASE THE JUMPING FISHES TOO that rlly spices up the whole scene bcno one forgets theyre Supposed to get fish but theyre doing it caveman style and THEN THERES A HUGEASS FISH JUMPING OUT AND XIAO IMPULSIVELT JUMPS FOR IT but gets carried down into the water zhongli was like XIAO NO and plucking him out bc xiao doesnt let the big fish go AND IS STILL HOLDING IT it keeps slapping his face getting them both even wetter when zhongli lifts them both above the surface xiao gets irritated likr STOP FUCKING MOVING HE KARATE CHOPS IT DEAD so anyway thats how verr goldet gets there absolutely horrified at zhongli xiao standing at the reception soaked to the core and the former was holding an abnormally big fish and the latter going "do u have any spare clothes and towels? also we'd like to give this to yanxiao as thanks" and the inn staff has a nice buffet of a big ass fish grill while zhongli xiao chills in their room drying and doing lil comfy dad son things (explodes into a million pieces)

Every time I watch a Nolan film I'm just mentally preparing myself for when I inevitably go "what the hell..." at the end 😭

(before or in case some ppl jump me in the replies i just want to clarify that ik this acc revolves around anime content but i’ve been into the goth subculture for a few yrs now and i don’t want ppl to think i’m a poser talking out of my ass just bc i don’t post or repost any goth topics/have a gothic style for my blog )

why do ppl call anything remotely alternative ‘goth’ or ‘emo’…..

im sry but the ‘“i need a goth mommy’ or ‘i love goth girls’ mfs are actually unbearable like no u don’t even know what goth is, you just want a hypersexual e-girl with black hair and bangs with heavy eyeliner (same goes for the ‘i need a metalhead bf’ mfs who just want a tall guy w pretty long hair who plays the electric guitar)

those same ppl have started saying shit like ‘noooo i actually want a trad goth 🥺…um! well..no trad goth wants u..😁😁😁😅

like pls u didn’t know what a trad goth was until goth ppl started joking abt this sort of situation and using them as an examples for ‘goth girls’ that aren’t onlyfans models wearing skimpy black clothes and using goth as a buzzword for engagement, u just want to look good😭

favourite roguelike?

hi anon tyvm for the ask, i wanted to answer it on pc so thats why it took a bit! i havent heaviily played too many roguelikes but i do love the genre a loot, and i think if i could ignore the self awareness of "iim playing a game rn" that theres a lot id pour time into

hmmmmm, id say by far my fav roguleike is darkest dungeon. it just hits so many thiings so well. i love the lovecraftian element, ii adore the dialogue. ii love the difficulty, and that iif it IS tooo hard, theres easier modes to try out. i also really love to think abt each new mercenary you get as their own character. like each one has their quirks and personality, or i view it as a personality. i get a character up to level 5 and iim like "ii know you so well and you criit so much. i love u graverobber". anwyays, great game, great everything.

other ones ive played and enjoyed is risk of rain 1 and 2. especially 2, i think i really love just for the ambitiious fact of takng a 2D game and making iit 3D, and it just Worked. like i think the game doesnt get enough praise for being able to pull that off, i cant imagine how hard that mustve been for the team working on it and its so cool they did it.
