This is a very good ask because I do not remember thinking of this WiP, starting this WiP, or writing 8047 words of this WiP. I do not remember why this document is called someone almost dies.

This is NBC Hannibal fic, Hannibal/Will casefic combined with a developing BDSM dynamic.

Hannibal stays beside the chair, watching Will try to settle himself down. He's turning, nearing Hannibal's desk, taking slow steps, his hands still moving idly. His eyes are anyway but on Hannibal. They skitter, catch on Hannibal's desk, the sketch of a bird Hannibal did. He turns toward it. "So he means to be caught?" Hannibal suggests as Will picks up the paper, studying the lines of the bird Hannibal drew for him. Will glances at him, then down at the desk. "That's not very likely..." his voice trails off as his body goes hard at the sight of the pamphlet there. It's the one about bondage, if Hannibal remembers correctly. The one with the alluring photo of the man bound in so much slick black rope. Will tries to look at something else, but almost everything there is for him, the books, the photos. Even the neat notes Hannibal took.
