In a little angsty mood before bed now and thinking about Tommy calling him Evan in front of others at a party

Except they don’t know their relationship yet and explain to Tommy how Buck doesn’t like his first name being used

Tommy getting worried that he’s been hurting Buck all these weeks by calling him by his first name so when they meet again after Tommy leave the others he calls Buck “Buck”

And Buck starts to panic, thinking he did something wrong because why would Tommy call him Buck when he said Evan for weeks? when he himself never complained about it, and he can feel his eyes fill with tears at the hurt that this brings to him, just hearing a name he liked so much being used by this man that made him love Evan again.

And when he says “Buck, are you ok?” that’s when the tears start to drop from his eyes.

Tommy wakes up to Buck fixing coffee in the morning. He walks up, wraps his arms around his waist, and plants small smooches from his ear to his cheek and down to his neck. Buck's heart flutters, and a large goofy smile makes its way onto his face.

Buck spends all week planning the perfect date for Tommy. He throws so many great ideas at him and Tommy being Tommy is fine with every suggestion. Unfortunately, Buck has a rough and tiresome week. Noticing this on the night the date was supposed to take place, Tommy says screw it and they spend the night snuggled up on the couch watching cheesy romance movies.

Buck leaving Tommy a nervous voice mail:

Hey, Tommy, I know you're probably busy right now, but I just wanted to say thank you for, uhh, pulling me out of myself, you know? You've really helped me open my eyes to so many things that I didn't see before—about myself and the world. And, um, I-I just want you to know how special you are to me. And i just….I can't stop thinking about you. I think about you a lot, actually, to the point where I think I might be going a bit insane. I think about your laugh…and your voice... and how you say my name. And I probably sound like a total creep now, huh? Uhh, so yeah. Sorry, I Just really-really needed to get that off my chest. Yes it’s 2am and yes I’m thinking about Buck and Tommy walking around in LA during a date and them coming across each. and. every. girls Buck dated

First they see that there is a festival happening and they see Taylor doing the presentation for it, she’s speaking in front of the camera when she sees them walking hand in hand in front of her.

Less than 20 minutes ago they come across a procession of people coming out of a cemetery and Nathalia is there.

Buck who’s freaking out bc why did he just see two of his exes on the same day in fucking LA? The city is huge!!

And then they go to a supermarket for some snacks for their walk around and Buck almost slam into Sam and Abby is standing next to him, eyes wide when she recognizes Buck.

Poor guy is freaking out, wondering if he’s cursed or something while Tommy just teases him about how he has so many conquests he can’t walk around without meeting them.

It’s when they walk in front of a gallery and sees Ali through the window that Buck just pull on Tommy’s hand and call a taxi to get back to his loft.

I'm renowned (that's not true, who cares about me lol) for being a Buck&TK friendship truther ever since the crossover aired, so in my head Buck called TK right after the kiss to rant about Tommy and how cute his cleft is (I literally wrote a fic about this) and he's keeping him posted (TK teases him because he can't stop talking about Tommy and Buck teases him back telling him that he can't stop talking about Carlos and they're literally married).

All of this to say that in my head (and probably in my AO3 if I manage) Buck and Tommy will visit Tarlos in Austin so they can have a double date and Tommy and Carlos can team up to tease dumbass and dumbasser (because Carlos will absolutely get along with him, he told me). And then TK will get a bit emotional seeing Buck being THIS happy and settled in his skin and they'll share a brotherly hug and I'll cry my eyes out. (And then TK will tell him that he was right, Tommy's hot and Buck will pretend to be annoyed and I just love them okayyyy)
