Hey Guys,

Back with another post!

Resin charms galore, I rarely post my work with resin here, but I guess I should start doing just that. I love working with resin and the amount of creative freedom it allows for. Sometimes you have to hold back and remember that less is more. Honestly, I have so many ideas and colour combinations just for these specific moulds alone, but this is my first batch and I really do like them a lot.

Psst! Want to know a secret?🙃 Do you also want to get such bright colors on the board? In my experience, just coloring the resin with blue and pouring it onto the board is not enough. In that case blue colors will lose some brightness. How I do it - I first paint the board white in 2 layers, then cover with a bright color, and just then pour the resin. Best Room Temperature for Resin Art ‐--------- TOO HOT (>85°F/30°) Resin will be very runny and then quickly start to cure. •Colors mix too easily and resin runs off canvas. • Working time is greatly minimized because heat kicks off the curinge process. TOO COLD (<70°F/21°C) Resin will be too thick with a cloudy, milky appearance. • Difficult to pour and spread. • Lots of bubbles. •Takes a long time to cure or may not cure at all. JUST RIGHT 72°-82°F 22°-28°C Resin will be easy to work with, colors will not mix immediately and bubbles will be minimal.
