Tide rubs her temples a bit more in frustration Tide: I don't think our Mayor is a bad guy... but I question is methods... Tide: But I do understand wanting to see the good in his son... I.. Well. I knew his son.. at one point..... I know he isn't.. a bad pokemon deep down but... I don't know.. It's not my business anymore. Tide looks over at Toasty with a weak smile, the frustration still visible in her eyes Tide: All in all.. they don't do anything TOO horrible.. Just.. your general run of the mill "town punks" who have nepotism on their side.. Tide: My neighbor just worries about me a lot. Since I am a... ahem... "Prime target" for ridicule from them. Tide does a vague gesture towards her entire body Tide: But I'll be fine. I'm not easily hurt by insults slung by the likes of those guys. They haven't done anything physical to harm me either. Tide got a sudden stab of worry deep in her gut, as much as she knew they hadn't done anything too bad.. The worry still stabs at her. Worrying about that obstagoon and what he might do if someone were to actually ever stand up to him... But this wasn't this arcanine's worry to bear, so Tide gives a reassuring smile Tide: I'm sure almost every town has had to deal with something similar. Just a group of rowdy punks wanting to cause trouble... Tide: Although I do hope they don't cause you any trouble since you are passing through here! Rimi’s Awakening; Part 2 of 2

“RIMI!!!” Noelle starts to cry with joy and hugs Rimi.

“Aww, Noey, how sweet? But seriously, did somethin’ happen?”

“Eh, nothing unusual, ya just had a very good sleep after sippin’ the champagne.” Noelle is trying to be a little sarcastic.

“Haha, it’s just… When I drink champagne for the third time, I become SO OFF!”

“Well, I’m glad ya are here, not SO OFF!”

“Yea, thanks to this device.”

They both smile.

“Oh man, I think I need some fresh air after this.” Rimi goes to the back courtyard.

Noelle decides to stay in the dining hall and Wil goes to the dance hall. Edin tries to go with Wil, but he is met by someone.

“Yea, we should, but it’s an alcohol, it may make anyone berserk.” Edin nervously smiles at Arcanine.

“Oh, wait, I know you, I saw ya with that Houndoom lady., do I? Same one said: “it’s uncomfortable to stand in two rather than four”. That’s so meaningless…” Noelle gets a little frustrated.

“Noelle, please, not every mons are walking in two. In our world, most mons are walking in two rather than four. But there’s universes where some mons still walk in four. Of course she might be surprised.” Edin explains. Noelle’s frustration calms down.

“Uhh, right… I forgot about the other universes. There’s another Houndoom in four who didn’t mind me bein’ in two.. Maybe we should drink, we’re REALLY exhausted after this.” They both took a glass of champagne and drank it.

Noelle goes to the back courtyard to check on Rimi. Edin goes to the dance hall to stay with Wil.

Rimi woke up after a sober sleep and is available again for asks.

Call it a gut feeling, but have you performed at anything of this level in the past? A good song could certainly set a good mood for the evening.

“Oh, yes, certainly! Though I’ve never been to a gathering that so many legendary pokemon have attended-- just important human figures! I’m typically invited to things like charity events, festivals, dinner parties, you name it, as a special guest to perform,” Magpie says, “And I always perform the opening and closing of Grand Contests, so I’m very used to performing in front of extremely large crowds!”

“Tonight, however, I am here as a regular guest. No performance. It’s sort of nostalgic in a way, I haven't attended something as a regular guest in quite a long time.”
