PHASE 1

2003: Kitty breaks the code on the files given to her by Nathaniel Essex and reveals to Dazzler that they are government plans to create giant mutant-hunting robots; they go to the Professor about it.

2004: Moira's stomach aches grow worse. Asgard (plot): Alison is nearly burned as a witch; Manuel is taken in by Loki; Jubilee is pixified and ends up as pet to a Dark Elf.

2005: Nathan has lunch with his father in New York, learning his induction into Mistra was intentional, and he has an uncle, Gideon Faraday. Bad Blood: Remy discovers the effects of Sabretooth's attack on Alison.

2007: Bobby gives Terry an antique harp for an early birthday gift.

2008: Seven Minutes In Heaven: Nate's psimitar arrives by courier, sent by Tara Trask who took it back from Ilyas Saidullayev; Forge is less than impressed; Pete is even less impressed when he discovers Lense is now working for the Hellfire Club and smashes his laptop, to the consternation of his staff. Crystal wishes Terry an early happy birthday; Adrienne gives Terry an extra-special present. Sulaco: Amelia discovers the pills Jay has been taking as part of the drug trial and notifies Sam as Jay's family.

2009: Catseye brings ice cream to Nathan in the infirmary and the two discuss French lessons, as well as her joining the X-Men while Nathan contemplates his retirement from same. Catseye emails Kevin asking him for help with Yvette's birthday present. Kyle emails Dani to ask her to smack Jay, who is being belligerent in his own post about joining the X-Men. Dani posts about her resolve to finish college. Catseye seeks out books from Sam and discovers his attack on Kyle, which prompts a great deal of disapproval. Garrison sends a very poignant email to Jay, alluding to the funeral he is attending for his deceased teammates to make Jay understand what being part of a team means. Marius posts to the x-grads community about the maturity of the X-Men and Jay in particular, which yields quite a response from the graduates. Jay apologizes to the team for being an asshole and agrees to accept any trainee name he is given, though the apology has mixed results. Malibu Madness: Julian's father visits and informs his son that should he be able to go three weeks without exceeding a spending limit of $500, he will be given leave to visit - with his friends - the family's summer home in Malibu for a week; Julian posts to x-kids inviting his classmates to the house in Malibu, confident he can win his father's challenge. Jay emails Kyle telling him he is not apologizing for what he said to Kyle on the x-team comm. Nathan announces his retirement from active duty on the x-team comm, informing the team he will be staying on as a reserve member and taking an active role in the training of new members. The Beaubier twins discuss Alpha Flight and Jake. Jay goes to the medlab for a checkup and encounters Nathan, remaining belligerent despite Nathan's patience; Kyle arrives to visit Nathan bearing a pretzel and Jay retreats without further confrontation. Jean-Paul runs into a slightly inebriated Scott at Harry's and discuss the situation in Canada, Nathan's retirement, and Jay's addition to the X-Men. Late at night, an insomniac Lex encounters an overcharged Nori and is very intrigued by her powers. Home and Native Land: The five Alpha members who were killed are buried and Malcolm Colcord reveals not only is Walter Langkowski suspected of accidentally revealing the location of the team in a private email, but the entire Alpha Flight program is being shut down.

2010: Kevin is released from the medlab but can't stay put in his suite. He runs into Laura on his way to the rec room. Butterflies and Hurricanes: Vanessa confronts Haven at her clinic in District X and asks about the missing people. Yvette sends out birthday invitations to her friends. Crystal makes a post commemorating the third anniversary of Atillan's return to the world.

2011: Wade leaves a variety of gifts for people on his return. He chats with Molly and is briefly afraid she's drowned in the pool. Meggan thanks Wade for her gift and mentions self defence training with him. Doug thanks Wade on the journals for his gift; A kegger is proposed with Amanda's keg of Guinness. Matt thanks Wade for his gift. Molly discovers a website of cats wearing hats. Wade sms's Kyle about hangovers.

2012: Scott finds Artie practicing his powers in an empty classroom.

2013: Matt and Hope cook together in the kitchen and discuss about him getting a haircut. Matt crashes at Amanda's after aerial class and the two discuss their different teams, among other things, over Chinese food.

2014: Darkness Within: Jubilee emails Haller, asking him why Molly would hesitate in combat, which nearly caused casualties; Scott emails Namor to tell him that his parents are very unhappy about his abduction and wanted to remove him from Xavier’s. Jean shows Scott Ororo’s old attic apartment, and suggests they move in.PHASE 2

2015: Cruelty is Bitter Bane: Garrison e-mails Logan, Kitty, and Julian for help out in St. Louis; the three mutants arrive in St.Louis to help; Julian and Kane meet with the family; Logan and Kitty break into the morgue. Bobby and Amara meet and are cute while discussing their respective powers.

2016: Gabriel invites the adults of the mansion to join him watching the Olympics and getting drunk on cachaça and eating pizza. Alison posts to say that she’s in front of a huge TV watching the Olympic Games and people should join her. Darcy lets people know that women’s Rugby 7s might be her new favorite sport ever.

2017: Rogue posts up the 2017 Extreme Eating Challenge results complaining she wants to eat everything up there apart from the pasta.

2018: Amanda casually moves in with a reluctant Topaz. Tandy texts Topaz to apologize for missing dinner.

the more time passes, the less I think nightcrawler actually knew what he signed up for when he joined krakoa, let alone the council. does he not see the glaring paradox of asking she hulk to be the human representative for all mutantkind in human court... when the island he lives on has an antihuman policy and is pretty much separated from human affairs to the point of creating space colonies away from them? at this point, nightcrawler needs a big ass wake up call or someone's gonna get hurt

Maybe Krakoa's nature is changing, and they know they need help beyond the confines of their island.

Then AGAIN, we have already seen many successful "isolated" earth societies that do well without typical human intervention. Atlantis, Atillan (as I keep mentioning) etc

It seems like Kurt and the council know what they want long term: to be fully functional mutant ONLY society, but they really got that mutant only part and then stopped.

I think they haven't moved forward yet because of pride. The thing is, there's nothing wrong with asking for help. They can stand by on their belief that they can be mutants and be successful AND have outside intervention. We've seen this with Atlantis and Wakanda. Two powerful nations that have gotten along pretty well by themselves. They live on their own but they also have connections to the outside world incase of any emergencies! They also aren't overly relient on this help. Krakoa could be just like them!

Well it seams that GW are taking a leaf out of the 2nd and 3rd ed Warhammer 40k editions in the new Astra Militarum codex.

I'm liking this revamp of the old lore it goes back nicely to the way I used to play and the great battle reports of old White Dwarf 😁👍

Remember days like this 👇 in 3rd Ed you could give doctrins to units to make them more like your regiment of choice!

Your army would be often a mix of regiments and heroes fighting together on any given Battlefield and backed up by the Lore.

It will be nice to see games like this again and not all Cadians.

I have failed to explain things properly my bad: Kurt came to She-hulk to have her work as liaison between Krakoa and the Human world... Which I don't quite get what it would be for even now since Krakoa makes very little to not business with humans to need that. Like mutants didn't ask anyone for permission to build portals in the first place: why would they be a problem now? Mutants gave up their houses overnight to move to Krakoa permanently: why would some have issues with them years later?

Again, Jen's great. We all know she does good work and having her as a connection is a fine thing to have, but do they not have lawyers and lawmakers on Krakoa? Why outsource?

And you do raise a lot of good questions here. The whole point of Krakoa was to have a SEPERATE society to humans. Much like what the inhumans of Atillan are doing. And I think we really need to start comparing Krakoa and Atillan together because mutants seem to be doing a lot of goofy silly stuff that their inhuman buddies already got down pat.

I don't see inhumans (back in the day, I think things have changed since the inhumans v mutants war) going to earth and asking Earth's politicians to help them with their stuff. No, they deal with it by themselves like their ancestors needed them to because Atillan was literally built on the understanding that Earth's inhumans needed their own space. Kinda like how... Earth's mutants.... needed their own space....

But unlike the mutants, the inhumans have been self reliant ever since. It's just so funny how pathetic Marvel is making the mutants out to be.

And I think it's so crazy that mutants are now going off to space, to conquer other planets when they have not even dealt with the issues in their first world. Like how dare they fail their next group mutant colonists again? How many times are they going to make their people go through this?

So, okay, AU and headcanon time!

As a result of her inhuman ability to sense emotions and to determine whether someone is telling the truth based on that, Luna learns something that's been hidden from her for half her life.

Her uncle Maximus tells her why her father was banished from Atillan--the result of his own mind control making him steal the terrigen mists--and of the struggles of her mother and father's marriage. He has no reservations on telling the child of her mother's unfaithfulness, and of her father's extreme self-doubt and depression because of it. After all, she's 13 now, she can surely handle it.

Then he tells her about the last time her father came to Attilan. How he had been gravely injured, and by his own hand. He had tried to end his own life. Through her tears, Luna can tell he's telling the truth. How could her family keep this from her for so long?

She runs. She runs into the mountinous craters in the blue area of the moon, and she hides. It's dark and it's cold, and she cries, shaking. Hours pass and she feels something soft and dusty-feeling wrap around her shoulders. She sleeps, and when she awakes, the objects covering her open fully. Her father's mutant genes have finally activated in her, giving her a beautiful set of wings...

Anemone - What was the worst rejection that your muse has experienced?

Rejection? If I had to pick just one? It’s either the time I got kicked out of the Runaways or when I got in hot water with the New Attilan Guard...

Actually, the Attilan one works. So it was a couple months ago and I was hot on the tail of a big racketing scheme for mutant suppression medication, dodgy stuff being peddled that either didn’t work or put people in the hospital. After a solid week of searching, May and I tracked down where they were making this stuff on the cheap down in a college lab in Hempstead.

We wanted to put ‘em behind bars quick, so I suited up the night we found them and I swung ‘cross the bridge through Queens. Made it to Hempstead without a hitch, but when I bust down the door to the old college lab, I found myself a few seconds behind... her.

Some agent from the New Atillan Security Force (NASF) had beaten me to the punch. Of course, she thought I was back up for the two-bit chemists she just cuffed, so I got a few hundred volts to the chest before things cleared up.

After I picked myself off the floor, she introduced herself as Cyra, but that was then the actual backup arrived. We made quick work of them before NASF swooped in transport to take them away, with Cyra going along back to New Atillan. With her gone, that just left me to shake off the shock and get out of there before the local precinct showed up to seize the lab.

I’ve only seen the NASF around Jersey trying to catch hold of Kamala, that entire Inhuman city that’s practically grafted to that side of the Hudson, so to see someone that far west of the place caught me by surprise.

Thought that would be the end of it, but Cyra and I just kept running into each other after that. A week later, I found her tussling with Maggia over a treasure dispute. Seeing her infuse a beer glass with laser energy and chuck it at somebodies head was motivation enough for me to help her out, so I kicked the window in and got swinging. 

We spent the whole night after that combing over a small list of properties the Maggia were ransacking, chasing down an old fortune belonging to the old Paguro family. For all the file sifting and (mostly lawful) breaking and entering we did, Cyra was a good partner we even had a few things in common!

Blame my starved heart, but I was growing pretty fond of her and made the dumb idea of asking if she’d like to hang out sometime. Surprisingly, she was open to it! 

Of course, my stupid-ass didn’t see anything wrong with my infamously unregistered self wanting to casually hang out with a member of law enforcement, so we swapped a few preferences and we agreed to meet up by the George Washington bridge tomorrow night. After that, we’d hang out in Fort Lee.

The night came and I had happily made my way up the Hudson. Suited up just before I hit the bridge and swung underneath to make an entrance. Imagine my surprise when I found her already waiting on me.

Twenty minutes later, I was crawling my sorry ass out the Hudson with enough electricity in my system to knock out a horse paddock. But the murky cold waters and searing pain didn’t hurt half as much as how stupid I felt.

I know better nowadays, but I can still feel the jolts coursing through my heart whenever I get friendly with people out in the field.

with our first reserve contest wrapping up in less than two days, we wanted to give you guys a little more insight into characters! as you know, we will be allowing both canon and original characters on this site and more information regarding each character type is below. 

CANON CHARACTERS

our canon list consists of primarily mcu-based properties along with some minor additions from the comics and the return of some old (or dead) favorites. we plan on periodically releasing new canons as plotting on the site progresses and opportunities arise. if you are interested in something that is not on this canon list, definitely let us know. we are open to other considerations on a case-by-case basis. 

that being said, there are certain groups that we are not allowing. as our starting point is in the throes of the civil war storyline, space-based characters don’t make a lot of sense. this includes the guardians of the galaxy, the inhumans of atillan, captain marvel, and other alien races. we are also, for the time being, not allowing the x-men or any other mutants due to the difficulty of integrating them into an mcu-driven mythos, as well as their absurdly strong power-levels. 

ORIGINAL CHARACTERS

our original characters aren’t just damsels and innocent bystanders. of course, you’re more than welcome to make these types of characters if you like; we’re not going to stop you. ocs can also play an integral roles in the framework of the site by filling the ranks of shield, hydra, and the atcu. they also have the opportunity to become inhumans.  

yes, friends, shield and hydra are back, rebuilt, and raring to go. both organizations have fully fleshed-out ranks supporting the canons that also belong to them and you can place your characters within areas like operations, research and development, communications, administration, and more! 

additionally, for shield only, the shield academy is available for play. the academy is broken into three schools--operations, science and technology, and communications--which all have their own attending student bodies, as well as their own small staffs who are experts in their fields. 

we’ve also pulled the atcu out of the agents of shield fridge. we’re keeping the organization as they were in the show, a government organization built to combat the inhuman threat. they also have ties to hydra, but this is unknown to the majority of the organization. as far as these people believe, they are doing the world a service by neutralizing the inhuman threat before they can be weaponized or cause any harm.

which then leads us to the last (and by far my favorite) opportunity for your ocs: they can become original inhumans! after accumulating enough points with our points system, you can earn the opportunity to become an inhuman, which can open new plotting opportunities for your character. with additional points, you can upgrade to expand your character’s powers to include up to three similar abilities. as a note:  minor canon characters with unspecific power origins can potentially take the inhuman route on a case-by-case basis as well. please contact staff to let us know if this is an avenue you’d like to pursue.

Ok so I was writing a chapter where maximus teaches the last two hundred years of ruling on Attilan and it's so messy lol

Maximus: the ruling most of the elders remember is the one of king agon, he lasted 90 years untill he died on tragic circumstances... Ok so then we got a kinda creppy old dude who we can't name for a few years but we kick him for reasons that will be discussed on the future, for reasons...

Then Black Bolt was king for like a few months, then some "mysterious circumstances" let to me being king for a few years (that is probably a case study as to why not let an unprepared young adult at the throne, it was fun tho)

Then BB came back and literally took the crown and say "im king now" and with that started the few years were we fight for the throne and with fight I mean i do a convoluted plant that somehow success and then BB kick my ass and throw me back to a cell.

Untill that one time i won and i was in charge but it was boring so i just gave BB the throne back after the skrulls thing and dedicated myself to live on the basement building weapons for a few months, probably the highlight of my life

Anyways then BB dies and Medusa was in charge, but then BB came back and she lets him be king again, untill he dies again so Medusa is in charge again. Then BB comes back again but Medusa don't give him the throne back because apparently blowing Atillan was not a good idea.

Anyway a few months later thigs to real bad and Medusa quits and that is how we live on a democracy now. Any questions??

Upon learning that they would be able to make a move to save their captured teammates and strike out against the Phoenix Five, the remaining Avengers gathered together to debrief and strategize. They were joined by a few new mutant allies and a powerful but familiar face.

SAM WILSON: Things were rough. From the beginning there had been an expectation that this was going to be a difficult right, but this wasn’t just difficult. This was the impossible fight that they somehow had to make possible. Everyone in the debriefing room looked beaten and torn like they had seen better days – and they had. But at least they were alive at all. That was more than a lot of their friends could say. There were dents in his shield and a chunk missing from his wings but Sam Wilson was glad to stand before his remaining team at all. “I know it’s bad out there,” he cleared his throat. “More than half our team is gone. But we can’t quit now. We had some information piled on our current status. I know some of you are missin’ loved ones, but we need you to hold out to the end so we can get through everything. As it stands: the Asgardians have no leader. Odinson was taken hostage by Emma Frost and we lost Valkyrie on the moon to Wither. She’s in the med bay along with all of the other infected patients. Don’t touch them for any reason or you’ll get infected too. Prince Ahura is now King of the Inhumans after Namor killed Crystal. Other casualties include Lana Baumgartner and Nathan Summers at the hands of Magneto. Billy Kaplan was wounded by Magik but we managed to retrieve him from Antartica. Wolverine managed to survive a fight with the Phoenix Cyclops as well, but most of our fights against their hosts haven’t gone well. Confirmed hostages include Kate Bishop, Gwen Stacy, Scott Lang, Jessica Drew, Janet Van Dyne, Doctor Stephen Strange and Rikki Barnes among others. Susan Storm was last seen in Latveria but we’ve lost all communication since. We’ve also had some wins though. We evacuated the Hellfire Academy, Madripoor, Subterranea, Tymyr Peninsula and Wundagore Mountain. Our goal was never to take hostages but currently have the younger Scott Summers and Sebastian Shaw in custody. To those of you who have won your fights, congratulations. Our infirmary has filled up faster than we have room to accomodate. I know it’s a lot, but we don’t have a choice in all of this. Which brings me to my next point,” Sam sucked in a lungful of breath. “We have to bring more protection to Wanda and Jean if we’re going to beat the Phoenix. ERIK: “Jean and Wanda are not left defenseless.” Erik spoke up after Sam had finished. He had just been outed to the group as a murderer– which was completely true– but he steered clear of that topic for the moment. “The elder Jean trusted me with their safety, but I had not anticipated her departure.”

AHURA: Ahura sat at the table, arm in a brace from a sprain he received from his fight with Sebastian Shaw, who was currently held in his custody. He had his father and fallen king on one side and his cousin’s lead guard on his left. He did his best not to hold judgement on Dante for what happened to his cousin. “I understand stand that we’ve been trying to keep this as isolated and small scale as possible but I think we’ve all learned that’s not an option.” The new king spoke up. He was beginning to grow tired of Magneto and how everything appeared to revolve around Jean Grey to him, therefore he made it the center of everyone’s attention. “This is a war so let’s treat it like one. I have two armies currently at my disposal along with the most advanced inhuman technology, and I assure you both are eager to avenge their queen and those who died during the attack on Atillan. I’m sure the proud warriors of New Asgard feel the same and just seek a figure to lead them. What I’m saying is that it’s time for drastic measures and full scale offenses less we end up like the other half of our comrades.”

RIRI: “We were trying to do something.” It was the first time that Riri had left her room in over a week. She worked better alone and time kept slipping by. “Originally it was the create a vacuum to suck the Phoenix from its hosts. Still the plan, but we’re also trying to triangulate the locations of those who are missing. The mutants have to be holding them somewhere. Between all your murdering you didn’t happen to hear anything useful did you, Magneto?”

ERIK: “Not so much.” Erik winced, but his expressions remained steady. “There was not much chance of rumors reaching me since I was alone on Genosha. I was brought to Jean and Wanda and that’s the extent of my knowledge.”

LOGAN: “I’ll go after Jean.” Finally Logan spoke up. “She understands the Phoenix better than anyone. We need her.” And he needed to make sure she was okay.

CAROL: Carol was sitting near Sam, though she wasn’t participating as much as she should have been. Instead, she was slouched in her chair, picking at her lips, lost in thought. She’d been dealing with the guilt of allowing the Phoenix to possess the five mutants — she’d been trying to be pacifist instead of putting an end to it then and there, like she should have. Like she would have. But Carol had been trying to fill the shoes of Steve Rogers, and that meant going in with a steady head. “We screwed up.” She finally spoke, offering what input she thought was necessary, despite the leading conversation. “I hope you all understand that we have no friends on the other side right now.” She glanced at Erik, but let it pass. “If you’ve learned anything, it’s that they will stop at nothing to achieve their goals. That includes injuring and killing us. If you haven’t put your war paint on already, it’s time to start now.”

SAM WILSON: “No offense, buddy, but if she didn’t come back I’m not likin’ your odds and we’re short staffed as is.” The Captain folded his arms over his chest as he addressed Logan. He spoke once more after Carol finished. “Just in case it hasn’t been said, your majesty, we’re sorry for your loss. There’s too many of our men falling. The Asgardian’s don’t have a ruler but I’m betting they’re willing to avenge their King as well. Us having an army isn’t the problem. They just keep cutting them down. Who here’s gone up against a  host? What do we know about what they can do one on one?”

LOGAN: Logan might have sided with the Avengers, but he wasn’t part of the team. He didn’t have to follow their orders. So he tucked the idea of going after Jean away for later. “I did.” He spoke up again. “He kept goin’ on and on about how all of us were wrong, and that the five of them were going to change the world. He was overpowered and overdramatic.”

SAM WILSON: “You and Val went up against Wither, Dr. Brashear. Only one of you is here so we know it didn’t go well, but did you notice anything?”

JOHNNY: "Sounds about right.“ Johnny said from his place at the table, where he absentmindedly toyed with a pen. "So how are we going to get them back?” he looked straight at Sam, expecting an answer. “And how will we find Sue?”

BUCKY: “Why don’t we ask someone who actually took a hostage?” Bucky spoke up and looked towards Lorna, pointing at her. “She was the one I fought in Wakanda. And she took Rikki with her.”

ADAM: “I got the chance to examine Mr. Ford’s powers in great detail. I’d never seen something quite like it. It was fascinating.” He responded leaning in over the table, some of his injuries still remained. “What I did learn is that his powers now cause the atomic corrosion of any state of matter, including in its negative state, down to the subatomic level. In theory he can destroy anything. Furthermore. I trapped him in one of my opaque light field generators I made in order to protect the earth from threats the like of a supernova or world ending astroid and he was able to burst forth in less than a minute.” In truth, adam had never felt so overpowered by an opponent.

REED: Reed glanced between Johnny and Sam as Sue was brought up. But before he could add something to the conversation, Bucky brought something new to the table. “Right to the source– that’s always the best course of action. That’s how we’ll find her. So–” He turned his attention to Lorna. “You’ve been awfully quiet during this conversation. But it’s come to light that you have valuable information.”

FRANKLIN:  Franklin was sat next to his uncle Johnny. He was terrified about all of this. If this had just happened a little bit longer ago he probably could have just willed the phoenix into being a pigeon but now his mother was gone and his powers weren’t what they used to be. “I can’t find her. I keep willing it but I just can’t find her.” He said seemingly looking to the others for answers. “I’ve always been able to find my Mom since I was a baby and now. Now I just don’t know.”

LORNA: A call out. How lovely. Lorna had been mostly unsure about whether or not she should come. Word of her father switching sides hadn’t meant much to her. She had been working with Remy more than him anyway and all Erik had been as of late was a headache. If he had his little epiphany or whatever that was his own business. The only reason she was there was the mutants and the fact that they were no longer safe under the Phoenix Five. "No matter what your whack powers tell you, she’s alive. They all are. Even some of the dead ones. Not all of  them, mind you. We can just say that sometimes things look worse than they are. Krakoa didn’t want them to harbor hostages on him, so they got creative. What do you know about the mutant who took Sue out? Her name’s Blink and she’s… Well, she used to a good friend of mine before this. Definitely not the type to teleport the air out or someone’s lungs like she did your mother.”

TOMMY: Tommy couldn’t handle looking at his dumb face any longer. Erik killed them and he was just supposed to sit here and act like everything was kosher. Not happening. Even if it was petty and childish it would be worth it. Time seemingly slowed for Tommy as he began weaving around to the opposite end of the table. Taking a firm grasp on Eriks nipples through his shirt and twisted with gusto before returning to his seat and acting like nothing happened.

GWEN: Trouble trouble trouble. He was trouble. Gwen had been doodling out the hanger battle from Civil War in beautiful stick figures when there was a slight breeze. Cackling slightly she shook her head at the mini speedsters antics while she kept drawing. Half of the Fantastic Four were here and she’d have to lock lips with one at some point.

ERIK: Doing his best to pay attention but also keep quiet, Erik suddenly was caught up in a sharp pain. He winced, taking in a sharp breath of surprise and then laying a hand over his chest in confusion.

HANK: “Quite frankly I don’t care about whose friend they were or how good of people you once found them to be. They’re threats not just to the planet but the galaxy.” Hank finally spoke up feeling annoyed. “I understand wanting to end things peacefully but as Captain America stated, we have no friends on the other side, so let’s not act like we do.” Hank replied as he began fussing with his toolbot as few items came together. “Back to the vacuum concept. It’s promising if it works and that’s a big if. However, there are band-aid solutions that we can use to by time, to name a few, Quantum realm, neutral zone, negative zone and microverse. Banishing even just one there may by us the time we need to perfect a solution and test the effects of what happens to the phoenix when it’s split up between dimensions.” He said ignoring the fact that there was sentient life in most of the places he suggested. He thought it would be best not to bring up the topic of creating a man made blackhole and taking the phoenix five into them in hopes of shredding them to pieces.

REED: Reed huffed in frustration. “The fact that they are dangerous to the world doesn’t need to be debated currently. We need the hostages back.” He shot Hank an annoyed glance before turning back to Lorna. “Her mutation allows her to create portals for teleportation, correct? I’m assuming you wouldn’t bring her up if she hadn’t played a bigger role in this than we are aware of.”

LORNA: “Of course not. And I’m not saying we should go easier on her because she was a friend. I’m saying that that thing looks like Blink but isn’t. I’m no Phoenix expert but if it did that to her I don’t know what to say about the others.  Kevin was always a little more rough so I’m not as surprised. He and Clarice are more separate from Emma, Scott and Namor. They’re a team but I don’t think they’re as much in charge. Blink used her Phoenix powers to boost the mutation of Magik. Illyana controls Limbo so together they pulled part of the hell dimension to Earth. Consider it a nightmare realm. That’s where your friends are. Blink and Wither are currently guarding it and you saw what happened when he touches you. Maybe it doesn’t kill you at first but it doesn’t take long to spread completely. If you want your people back you have to get through both of them and Limbo. I’ve never liked humans or how our people have been treated, but too many of us agree that this isn’t the way to fix our problems. We’re making the world worse, not better. The entrance is Cape Dezhnev in the Bering Strait. As for the Phoenix vacuum, well, I think you’d have to talk to my darling big sister.”

TRAUMA: Trauma had been silent just about the whole meeting and finally decided to chime in. “I’ll go… Go to the Hell on earth or whatever you want to call it.” His powers were magical in nature and that’s all he really knew. Between that, his experience with fear, and being able to be the perfectly tailored opponent for any individual it felt like volunteering.

SAM WILSON: "I’m sure we can make a sign up sheet.“ Sam’s voice was wry. "We’re glad you’re here, Polaris. Gambit as well. This isn’t Avengers against X-Men anymore. It hasn’t been for a while. If we’re going to save the world we don’t have a choice but to work together here.”

REMY:  “Speakin’ of X-men,” Remy was standing near Lorna as he spoke, hot on the heels of her words. “It’s come to our attention that us mutants don’ all share t'e same ideals as Emma, Scott, and Namor. I know it’s hard as hell to go against people like you in support of people who not only aren’ like you, but also don’ like you, so I don’ blame t'e mutants t'at fought for other mutants, even if it were under Emma and t'e rest. However, Lorna an’ I will be givin’ t'e mutants t'at are left a chance to leave the Phoenix behind. It won’ be easy, but as many as we can get to go against the Phoenix Five will be more t'an we currently have.”

LORNA: Her head inclined towards Remy in agreeance. “We can’t get you onto Krakoa, but we can help you rescue the hostages and let you know what we do. I understand my father has stopped being a raging prick and you have most of the Grey-Summers dynasty as well. Between them and Wolverine you’ve already got an important chunk of the mutant leadership.” Lips twitched at the thought of everyone they were forcing to work together. “So we do our part. What are you doing to stop the Phoenix? If you’re taking the Limbo guards out you better have a plan.”

SAM WILSON: “We don’t have as much of a plan as we should.” Sam admitted. “These last few weeks we went through a lot to keep Wanda and Jean’s location secret in Citrusville, but between one of the Jean’s bailing we’re making exception to our rules. Wanda?” He looked to the door to where he knew she was waiting. “Your turn.”

ERIK: What Erik responded with was almost an eye-roll, but not quite. It wasn’t that he was annoyed with people bringing up his horrible actions as of late, but it made him uncomfortable. “I wasn’t in my right mind. It does not excuse anything I have done, but that part of me is gone now. My mind has been made right again.” He glanced over to his daughter, trying to express how sincerely he felt about it all. “Things will be different from now on.” That was all he had to say for now– and he let the room focus on Wanda and the task at hand.

WANDA: Leaving Citrusville for the first time in weeks hadn’t been as  freeing as Wanda would have hoped. Anxiety still knotted her gut and tensed her spine. She belonged back at the Nexus but instead she stood before the war battered group of familiar and foreign faces. It was a conscious choice to ignore her father, knowing that he had made choices she couldn’t condone but didn’t want to discuss. “Vacuuming the Phoenix will only work to a certain extent. I overheard Dr. Brashear say Kevin broke free quickly. It will do the same, and the power will condense itself.” It was hard to explain. Wanda wasn’t a scientist but this was something she felt. “If you go tomorrow to face two of them, send a group after a third. Isolate them. Jean and I will monitor the energy from Citrusville. We need more time.”

CAROL: “So we have two missions then,” Carol interjected. “Rescue the hostages and separate the Phoenix. We will send a team to rescue the hostages, and another to battle the Phoenix. Assignments will come at a later time, but be ready. As it’s been said, this is war.”

VISION: “It’s possible that we could track down the location of a Phoenix Five member.” From his place next to Wanda, Vis took a small step forward to address the room. “I’ve learned that it is best not to bore you all with the details, but there are methods at my disposal that could be utilized. But this meeting has gone on long enough– Wanda should be getting back.”

SAM WILSON: “Of course. We appreciate everyone takin’ time to come out at all, especially since it’s so bad outside.” People had families to protect while they could. “Lorna and Remy will be sticking around even though Erik will be going back to Citrusville with Wanda. Vis, if you could come see me after you drop them off that would be great. Assignments will be sent out tonight about where to go from here. We got any other questions before we wrap up?”

ERIK: “Let’s just be done.” Erik interjected before anyone else had a chance to answer Sam and keep them all here. He glanced back to Vis and Wanda and then swept himself quickly out of the room to wait for them outside.

SAM WILSON: "Your discretion will be appreciated.” Sam nodded his head towards the door. He waited a long moment before following behind. The lights clicked off and the latch turned. They made it through another day. Hopefully they’d be as lucky the next.
