While working as a nuclear scientist at the "Atomic Institute," Barry Dale absorbs the "power of the atom" through unconscious exposure to nuclear materials and gains superpowers as a result. As described by Barry himself: "Evidently my body is so geared as a result of working on radium and uranium that it can explode atoms and give me atomic strength." He uses his new abilities -- such as super strength, flight, speed, invulnerability, "atomic vision," and the ability to heat his body so that he can weld metal with his hands -- to fight crime.

Kane was adopted by James during his second visit to the Atoma Region in mid-2020 as a Litten that had been rescued from an illegal smuggling operation that had intended to use Atoma as a ‘staging ground’ to ship those Pokemon to other regions. Given the Atoman stance on such things, it lasted all of five minutes and was taken down.

James and Kane did not get on at first. The Litten was understandably incredibly mistrusting of people; having been taken too early from its mother in Alola and had presumably spent much of its early life in the clutches of these poachers. James’ first few attempts to gently interact ended in some rather nasty scratches. He returned every day, however, often spending entire days simply existing around the Pokemon to gradually acclimate them.

It took quite literally all of James’ holiday (near enough a month and a half) in Sardonyx to build a bond to where the Litten was comfortable with being touched and handled by him. When James broke the news that he would have to leave soon, the Litten grew incredibly distressed and agitated. It was Strelitzia that suggested, rather plainly, that given Kane had clearly bonded with him that James make the adoption official.

Kane was absolutely named after the WWE wrestler of the same name. James has no shame in that, he was a bit of a fan as a child.

He has vibed incredibly well with the Galarian style of battle - big crowds? Oh, he’s in his element. It took considerable effort to get his confidence to that point, but now he can’t get enough of it.

Kane leans a little more into the ‘heel’ role than some. He comes across as intimidating at times because, while confident, it makes people keep their distance - and Kane dislikes being touched by those he doesn’t know (other than in situations he knows it is very important like in a Pokemon Center).

He loves big hearty curries, especially sausage and smokepoke tail. Preferably at the same time. 

He’s obsessed with watching battles on TV. He’s really soaked up the Galarian culture and will literally hog the couch on match day or during gym season.

Naturally, other than the odd rest day Kane trains intensively. Training is the one area besides in the stadiums that he is supremely confident, and can often be found helping the rest of James’ team (even if they’re not exactly suited for physical work).

Warhammer 40000: Darktide is due to bring the horde to Linux?

Warhammer 40000: Darktide FPS game is due to hit the Linux Steam Deck with Windows PC. Which is once thanks to the work and effort of developer Fatshark. Due to make its debut on Steam later this month. Indie developer Fatshark, last month, worked their way through a three-day beta. So that the players can get their hands on the award-winning 4-player co-op game Warhammer 40000: Darktide. Adding more players in throughout that weekend. Along with a launch due to arrive on November 30th. On top of this good news and development, it seems there is a Steam Deck focus.

As for an update on Steam deck, all signs point to it working at the moment. Not massively performant, but works.

You can see this comment in the Steam forum for yourself. Since Proton support does work for the game, there is a performance hit. Which means that the developers are paying attention. Leading one to believe there is indeed a focus on SOME kind of Linux support for Warhammer 40000: Darktide, a first, via the Stingray engine. Built on the legacy of Vermintide 2’s best in class melee combat. Warhammer 40000: Darktide brings in an intense WH40K gunplay to the mix. Master the balance between ranged and melee combat. WYATT HALL is the richest man in the atoma region and one of the richest men in the world. originating from almia, wyatt had previously changed his name to BLAKE HALL while under the effects of the SHADOW CRYSTAL during his whole childhood and adulthood.

after these events, wyatt did not serve jail, and instead went under the radar for a bit while still benefitting from ALTRU INC. given enough time to think about the events and the time he lost, wyatt moved to the atoma region as a way to distance himself from almia and his old life there, and settled in the SMOKYQUARTZ SHORES, a small piece of land divided by the river and sea by the rest of the region, and which is not only a favorite spot for vacations, but also favored by the atoman higher class.

a few years after settling in and placing an altru branch in atoma, wyatt was contacted by A VERY YOUNG KAEDE UEDA, who had just ended her training in johto and gained a tie with the legendary HO-OH. kaede sought his help to unify the region once more with a league system, just like the hero of old had done in the past. seeing a business opportunity, WYATT ACCEPTED, at first reluctantly, and later assured a gym leader as THE FAIRY-TYPE GYM LEADER of the region.

wyatt is A VERY CALCULATIVE MAN who likes to keep his secrets but know other’s, be it for blackmail or information purposes. this makes him very difficult to attain thanks to his very secured network. because of this, HE WAS ABLE TO PROTECT AKELA NICOLAI FROM ROCKET BY HIDING HER AND HER DAUGHTER’S PRESENCE, thus making them unattainable in return. the favor was granted as wyatt has connections with the international police and was contacted by KAHUNA NANU. it was the only time wyatt proposed services for an extremely low price.
