"Between two self-titled movies and appearances in a pair of Avengers flicks, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) has garnered quite the reputation for tinkering with the fabric of reality. Both of the character's solo films have dealt directly with the multiverse, so it only stands to reason he'll be heavily involved in the plot of Avengers: Secret Wars. As one new fan theory suggests, Strange's actions will be what causes the upcoming blockbuster to happen.

Shared by Redditor u/Namorons, the theory suggests for the second straight movie, Strange will misinterpret his learnings. After Doctor Strange, the theorist says, Strange misinterpreted The Ancient One's teachings about learning to let go his his self-centeredness. Now, the theory continues, after the hijinks of Multiverse of Madness, Strange will now let someone else shape the multiverse in their image.

Drawing from the wildly popular Marvel Comics event from Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribic, Secret Wars features the Marvel multiverse collapse in on itself to create one singular universe. While this has started to happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the theorist adds it'll come to a head in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, setting up Secret Wars the film. Because of his learnings so far, the theory says, Strange will then allow Kang or Dr. Doom—a major player in the comics event—to reshape the multiverse so that he doesn't have to deal with the guilt. Which, if you're a fan of the comic series, could ultimately lead to God Emperor Doom ruling over Battleword.

Little is known about the next two Avengers flicks other than the fact Shang-Chi helmer Destin Daniel Cretton has boarded The Kang Dynasty as its director. Writers for both films, and a director for Secret Wars, have yet to be named.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is now streaming on Disney+ and available for purchase on physical home media wherever movies are sold. What'd you think about the sequel? Will the Ux be involved in Flux?

So, um... remember the Ux? From Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos (you've probably seen this written in a variety of creative ways over the last few years)?

The Ux have the power of telepathic dimensional engineering, which, according to Yaz's Case Files, means they can affect the shape of the universe by thought and create pretty much anything just by thinking about it.

In Once, Upon Time, during the Siege of Atropos, we learn that the planet Time was created to anchor the thread of time, to subdue the wild time. There was a battle between the primordial forces of Space and Time in these Dark Times, with Time being Chaos and Space some kind of Order, cemented by this anchoring of linear time which marked the end of the Dark Times.

This is, of course, a great feat. Swarm tells us as much:

Time shall never surrender to Space. No planetary mass, however sophisticated, can imprison the force of Time. This planet, this construction, is not just a fallacy. Not just futile hubris. It is heresy.

Whoever did this (Rassilon), must have had help from sophisticated dimensional engineers to create Time (the planet), so I'm thinking the Ux (probably not Delph and Andinio, perhaps even the original) were involved in the creation of this heresy, and the physical side of the anchoring of the thread (with good ol' Rass and Omega being the designers). They're as much Space Lords as this group of shobogans gained the right to call themselves Time Lords.

oThen Awsok tells us this:

The damage to time is already done. As intended. [...] The Flux event was spatial. But it was possible it wouldn't be enough. The Ravagers, Swarm and Azure, are rare and useful creatures. Now they have been reintroduced. Think of them as a temporal poison, or contagion. [...] This universe is over, Doctor. [...] The Flux wasn't an accident. It wasn't a naturally occurring event. It was made. It was placed.

So someone is very intent on undoing what the Time Lords accomplished. This universe was made in their ontological image, and someone is making sure to retrace their steps backwards; releasing the Ravagers, damaging the Mouri... and if it really was the Flux that caused the damage on Time, it must have been something at least as powerful as the Ux...

We know that the Ux were used before, and that they're searching for their Creator mythic figure. Aswok, from the way she speaks to the Doctor, in equal parts superior and equal, seems to be a being from her original dimension, alien to this universe that is ending, and that the Doctor loves so much.

So maybe it's them using the Ux to make the Flux, to sort of mock the Time Lords and their creation. Either that or the Ux are going to be used to undo this sort of Battleword (Marvel's Secret Wars) universe we saw last night. Probably both.

Idk, I saw someone mention the Ux and it just occurred to me how well they fit in this story and it would be one hell of a callback.

A Steph Rogers/Toni Stark fic for @stevetonygames Team Angst, for the prompt: sparring.

This is a “everyone is lesbians fic” in Battleword domain 63 but it’s also a Hickmanvengers fic. Warning for melodrama and MCD.

A home is built upon the idea of comfort, Toni thinks as she’s being beaten to death in the ruins of hers. The sky is red and Steph’s golden hair is glowing around her like a halo. She looks like an avenging force of nature, the new lines on her face are works of art. Steph’s anger is radiant. Toni smiles, her face hurts. Steph growls above her.

“You knew,” she screams. “You knew and you did this to us, you worthless piece of shit.”

There is another earth hovering over them in the sky, and yet Steph is the most beautiful thing Toni has ever seen.

“I knew,” Toni admits.

She wonders if they were always meant to end up here. Their cycles repeated endlessly and the casualty of war, always them. Toni has memorized Steph’s knuckles, she could draw them from memory. There, on her right side, five marks and an apology, drawn from beautiful lips that pouted as Toni failed to dodge in training. There, on her cheek, lain in anger, spat along with vicious words five years ago, exactly where they stand now. There, on her arm, in jest, on the third floor where they have lunch when they’re alone. There, on her stomach through the armor, two fists and a scream as Steph mourned her losses and refused to accept her new home. There, on her mouth. There, on her thigh. There, on her very being. There, now clutching her hair and yelling like an animal.

Extremis tries to regrow around her wounds. Steph tears the silver metal to pieces.

“I signed off the mansion to you, did you know? I gave you our home.” Toni says, taunts really, through broken teeth.

“Fuck you.” Steph lets go of her, she looks gutted.

There are screams in the distance, there is a battle that Steph and her pride walked away from. It’s probably the most sincerely romantic thing Steph has done in her life. She’s set Toni as a priority, over a war, over her morals, over the entire universe. Steph abandoned it all and stands, heaving, wild, in the ruins of a mansion where they were once one, cementing their symbiosis in death.

The earth shakes under them, the sound of it breaking is nothing like Toni’s ever heard. It’s been a while since she was afraid, superiority doesn’t allow for chips in the armor, but her heart races in her chest now. Steph never apologized with words. Steph apologized with lips on bruised skin and hands all over Toni, Steph’s mouth spilling warnings and condemnations and Steph’s fingers coaxing pleasure from Toni’s body. “Common, sweetheart. We’re out of time. You should apologize now,” Toni says through a broken grin.

Steph advances on her like a storm. Those knuckles smooth out and wrap Steph’s fingers around her neck, squeezing the armor until it breaks. “You’re despicable,” Steph spits, and then her mouth is on Toni’s.

Homes are comfort, Toni knows. Because they’re predictable. In their home, Steph will spar with her, and then she’ll kiss her better. In their home, Steph will kill her, but Steph will die too. In their home, they are one. In their home, it doesn’t matter.

Pride Month’s LGBTQ Characters of the Day: Frostbite and Jubilee of Battleword

Ok, so I talked previously about Runaways. I talked about Secret Wars, where Multiverse died and Doctor Doom saved pieces of it to create Battleworld, which he ruled with an iron fist. And in this world, he created an academy, where chosen teenagers from all over his world, from all different domains that were once realities, could study together while being feed propaganda about his reign and be deceived from its true nature. And then a group of the students found out and decided there is only one logical thing to do - run away. Runaways 2015 tells their story in just 4 issues.

Among these Runaways there is an alternate version of Jubilee, who is literally a sparkly vampire and openly gay. And among the students, there is Sanna Strand a.k.a. Frostbite, who comes from the reality that was already ruled by supervillains. And she sides with the school’s evil genius kid headmistress Valeria Richards, to hunt these Runaways. And as the story progresses it becomes apparent VERY FAST that Sanna and Jubilee have feelings for one another they don’t know how to deal with correctly.

If that is not enough to convince you to buy this book then I will add this. We have two girls with feelings for one another. Who end up on the opposite sides due to deception done to them by an oppressive regime ruled by a science-minded evil tyrant. There is a buff girl who is nurturing feelings for a one really angry chick. There is a genius girl on the side of the bad guys. There is a person with ice powers who uses nickname Frostbite. Why, there is even a robot named Emilly. Does that sound familiar? Even a little bit? I wonder who wrote this miniseries. Noelle Stevenson? Maybe you heard of her? She did that one cartoon, what was its name...

Yeah, this comic book was very clearly a sort of “test run” for many ideas she would later develop in She-Ra. So if someone here is in love with that series and didn’t give Runaways 2015 a try yet, I cannot recommend it enough

Issue 7:New begginings

"Who's the best Kirby character?"

"All of them."

"C'mon babe!You have to choose!"

"No,i don't."

Kaminari sighed as they entered the school."Fine,be that way."

"He's right,you know."Ashido chimed in.Kaminari glared at her.

"Not helping."

Izuku laughed light-heartedly at them and looked to his other friends.Kacchan was sipping juice,Uraraka was on her phone(and judging by the smile on her face,she was texting Black Cat),Aoyama was walking with the upmost swagger,Todoroki and Yaomomo were holding hands and chatting about their Animal Crossing villages,Jirou was listening to the playlist Kacchan made for them and Kirishima was playing with a ball.

"Aoyama,help me out here!"

"Forgive me,friend Kaminari,but i cannot help.I know nothing of Kirby."

Kaminari looked determinated,"You.Me.My house.Today.Playing Kirby's DreamLand."

Aoyama smiled widely,"I accept!"

Kaminari fist bumped the air,cheering.Izuku thought he should finish his Kirby drawing.He'd been putting it off because of Spiderman bussiness.

"Uraraka!"Monoma of all people approached them,"You're friends with Spiderman,right?"Jirou glared at him.

"Yes..."Uraraka awnsered,rightfully wary.This was Monoma.He'd been picking on them since the start of the school year.

"Could you give him something for me?"He pulled a letter out of his school bag,"Please don't read it."

"Sure..."Uraraka took it gently.Monoma smiled.Not his smug,jerk smile but a genuine,happy smile.

"Thank you."He bowed and went to his locker.

"What the fuck was that?"Jirou voiced what they were all thinking.

"Monoma was being...nice." Todoroki was stunned.

"Was he?"Kacchan asked rethorically,"What if he put something in that letter to prank Spiderman?Or he wrote something really gross?"

"That is a posibility."Yaomomo mused,"This is Monoma were talking about."

"I don't trust him."Sero voiced.

"That makes two of us."Said Kacchan.Uraraka stared at the letter,looking doubtful.

"Should i give this to Spiderman?"

"It's your decision in the end."Todoroki told her.

"Why'd you call me over here,Mr.Yagi?"Izuku questioned as he sat down,flashing a small smile at Mrs.Yagi.

"I'm sorry for upsetting you the other day.It was none of my bussiness.I was being intrusive."Mr.Yagi apologized sincerely.Izuku smiled at him,his chest warming.

"Thank you but...there's no need to be sorry.You were only trying to help.I...think you made me realized some things.About myself and the world around me."They blinked in surprise before smiling at him.

"You"re welcome.If you ever need to talk,my door is always open."

"And you can always come to me."Mrs.Yagi added.Izuku beamed at them.

"Thank you!I will!"

Neito fidgeted in the bathroom at lunch as he waited for it to be over.Turns out being a bully didn't earn you very many friends.He felt...lonely.

'Come on,Neito,you can do this.'He decided to splash some water on his face to clear his head,only to blink in surprise as he saw black goop in the water faucet he'd chosen."What...is this?"Neito asked himself and stumbled back when the goop turned to him and smiled wickedly.

"Well,hello there!"It's voice was raspy.Neito paled.

"W-Who are you?What are you?"

"Now that's not very nice!"It chided him,"I'm Venom!"

"Where did you come from?"

"I came from the faucet."Venom looked at him like he was stupid,"You saw me-oh,you mean my homeworld!Yeah,i'm from Battleword."

"So let me see if i understand correctly."Neito said slowly,processing,"You're an alien."

"Yes."

"Who came from planet called 'Battleworld'."He used finger quotes.

"Yes!"

"And you're in a high school's sewer system."

"YES!"

"What exactly is it you want?"Neito didn't know if he wanted the anwser.

"A host!"

Neito ran backwards until he ran into a (thankfully close) stall.He gulped in fear,"A host?"

Venom was looking at hungrily,"That's right.And i think i found the perfect one."

Izuku and his friends jumped as they heard a scream from the boys bathroom.

"Who was that?"Ashido spoke.

"That sounded like...Monoma?"Kaminari said next.Izuku ran to the bathroom and saw no one.

"Monoma?!Monoma!!"He called out,using his hands as a megaphone.Kacchan,Kaminari,Sero,Kirishima,Aoyama,Todoroki and Jirou ran in after him.

"Where's Monoma?"Kaminari asked worriedly.Izuku gave him a distressed look.

"I don't know!He was gone when i came in!"

"Look!"Kacchan pointed at the window.Izuku's eyes widened as he saw the state of it.It was scratched up and he could see some blood on it.It must have been Monoma's blood!

"I have to go!"

Kaminari tried to reach out to him but Kacchan put his arm back down."Let him go.He's got this."

Izuku followed the trail of blood as he swung around town,trying not to get naseous.

"Monoma..."he whispered under his breath,"Where are you?"He heard another scream,feminine this time,and swung in the direction in which it came from.There,he saw a black...thing.It was big and goopy and it had all whitebeyes and razor sharp teeth.And it was holding an innocent citizen!"Let her go!"It turned to him,grinning.

"And just WHO are you?"

"I'm Spiderman,the protector of this city!And i'm going to defeat you!"

"Get out of here,Spiderfreak!"A random person yelled.Izuku flinched,hurt.It laughed.

"Looks like these people don't want your protection.But that's just fine by me."It held the citizen above It's mouth,ready to eat her.

"No!"Izuku shot webbing but he knew it would be too late-

It tripped on It's own two feet and fell flat on It's face.Silence.Then feminine laughter."Wait,i know that laugh!Black Cat?!"He spotted her on the roof of a coffee shop and saw Uraraka sitting at a two person table,trying not to laugh.

"Heya,Spidey!"

"Don't call me that."He deadpanned.The citizen ran away while It was still down.

"Thank you,Black Cat!"Said girl saluted her,smiling.

"You fucking BRAT!"It roared at her and Izuku shot his webbing,launching himself at It.He punched It and it's face goop blew off,revealing-

"MONOMA?!"

He had a black eye and a bloody nose."Spiderman?!You know my name?!"He asked in awe.The face goop grew back.

"What are you doing with Monoma?!"

"We are Venom."It-Venom punched him away and he flew into a building,hurting his back.He groaned in pain.

"SPIDERMAN!"

"SPIDEY!"

"Spiderman?!"People inside the office surrounded him.

"Are responsible for that?!"A woman demanded,pointing at Venom,"I knew Mutants were nothing but trouble!"

"JUST SHUT UP!"Izuku snapped at her,swinging back outside.He found Black Cat dodging Venom's hits and Uraraka tryingnot to cry.He cursed and launched more webbing at Venom,encasing him.

"What the fuck is this?!"

Uraraka launched herself at Black Cat as soon as her feet touched the ground,"I was so worried about you!"She sobbed as she hugged her.She hugged back.

"I'm sorry for worrying you."

Izuku smiled at them,happy to see one of his best friend's and...whatever Black Cat was to him so happy.Venom struggled and he placed a foot on him.

"So what should we do with him?We can't just send him to jail.He'd escape."

Black Cat scratched her chin,"Hmmm...We could send him to wherever he came from."

"But where did come from?"Uraraka asked.

"'Battleworld!"Monoma's face bursted out,"That's the planet he came from!"

"Edgy."Izuku commented.

"I know,right?"

"How do we get there?"Uraraka inquired.

"Like i'd ever tell you losers!"Venom snarled.Uraraka walked up to him and nearly spilled her iced coffee as she almost tripped on a rock.Venom whimpered,"Watch where you're pointing that thing!"

Izuku,Uraraka,Monoma and Black Cat all looked at eachother before Uraraka spilled her coffee all over Venom,who shrieked in pain and shrunk down to fun size.Izuku caught him in his hand before he could escape.

"Thank you,kind citizen-"Izuku gasped when Monoma hugged him."Woah!Uh-"

"Thank you."He pulled back,smiling and hugged Uraraka and Black Cat next,"Thank you all."

"Happy to help!"Black Cat smiled back at him.Monoma ran into the coffee ship and came back out with an empty jar.He opened it and positioned it towards Izuku.

"Let's keep him here."Izuku nodded and quickly placed Venom inside the jar,Monoma closing the lid just as quickly.Uraraka looked like she realized something.

"Oh,Spiderman!Monoma wanted me to give you this!"She pulled out the letter from this morning and handed it to him.Monoma seemed nervous.Izuku opened the letter curiously and read it in his head.

'❤Dear Spiderman

You are wonderful.You are so kind,listening to your fans.You are so strong,saving the city always.You are so yourself,despite the mask.You inspire me to be a better person.I WANT to be a better person because of you.

I think I'm falling for you.I don't know what being in love feels like but i think it's like this.I don't want you to return my feelings.You don't have to.I'm happy with my love for you.

Always and forever,Monoma Neito❤'

Izuku nearly dropped the letter in shock.Monoma?In love?With him?This...was..."Citizen,may i speak to you in private?"Monoma nodded.They walked into a nearby alleyway."Monoma-Neito,i'm flattered but i am already in love with someone else."

Monoma didn't look sad.In fact,he looked happy for him."Really?Who is he?"Izuku coughed into his hand,blushing.

"Let's keep that a secret-for safety reasons."He gestured to Venom.Monoma nodded in understanding.

"Probably for the best."

They walked back to Uraraka and Black Cat."Wait,shouldn't you be in school?"Izuku realized way too late.Uraraka smiled sheepishly.

"Normally yes but Himiko ran past my school during gym class and well...I couldn't help but follow her."

"Oooooo babe you had a crush on me!That's embarrasing!"

"We're dating."

"Still!"

"Hey,Monoma!My friends and i are going to the arcade after school!Wanna come with?"

Monoma and his friends(with the exception of Uraraka,who smiled brightly)looked at him shock.

"Midoriya!"

Monoma smiled slowly,"It'd be an honor."Izuku slung an arm around his shoulder,pulling his new friend close.

"Awesome!"

Disney+: 10 Things You Should Know About She-Hulk Before the Premiere

If you’ve been following the Disney+ news from this past weekend, you might be feeling a little overwhelmed at this point. Or you might be freaking out at the idea of some of your favorite characters coming to life in an all-new format.

One of the series Disney+ just announced was a She-Hulk series. And we’ve got to tell you, that series can’t come fast enough. So while we wait for any news on the plot or casting, let’s go over all of the basics about our favorite green lawyer. Read on to find out 10 things you should know about She-Hulk before the premiere.

10 What’s In A Name?

She-Hulk has been known by many different names during her time. Her human name is Jennifer Walters, but she also has gone by several other names: Hulk, Glamazonia, Jennifer Jameson, Jennifer Smith, Jade, Giantess, Shulki, Lady Hulk, and Gray Hulk.

And that's not counting any nicknames that individual characters may have come up with.

9 Family Ties

Jennifer is related to the one and only Bruce Banner, the infamous Hulk. They're cousins, believe it or not. And were good friends, even as kids. As adults, Jennifer stayed loyal to Banner, even with his Hulk issues. Banner isn't the only famous character that Jennifer has been related to, during her time in comics.

Most of her other relations came from marriages, however. She was once married to John Jameson who brought a rather large family along with him.

8 A Transfusion

Jennifer Walters became the She-Hulk through a rather crazy turn of events. While being near Bruce Banner, she became gravely injured. So much so that Banner became convinced that she would die without his intervention. Thus he gave her a transfusion of his blood and the gamma that flowed within.

Naturally, this gave her a huge dose of gamma radiation... but the gamma didn't activate in her blood until after a second attack was made upon her life. Then she became the She-Hulk we all know and love.

7 A Lawyer By Day

Jennifer Walters has an actual, stable day job, which is definitely a bit of an oddity in the superhero world. You see, she's a lawyer. And a good one at that. She's changed law firms at several points during her series (sometimes because firms let her go because of her less than reliable schedule). But she's always stayed focus on the job she loves so much.Actually, there were even times when Jennifer tried to give up her superhero life in exchange for being a full-time lawyer, though it's never a change that has stuck. We don't blame her for making the attempt though. We all need stability, especially after reeling from such a major loss or change such as she did.

6 Not Like the Others

One thing that makes Jennifer Walters' She-Hulk stand out among the rest is her... unique retention while in Hulk form. You see, when Jennifer Hulks out, she doesn't lose herself in the transition.

Instead, she manages to hang onto to all of her mental faculties in the process. At least, she classically used to. Things have been changing quite a lot for her lately, but more on that in a bit.

5 An Avenger

She-Hulk has come and gone from the Avengers team countless times. And every time she does join the team, she's been incredibly useful. She originally joined the Avengers shortly before her time on Battleword, and later joined up again, only to leave and once again join up again later. As you can see, it's been a bit of a back and forth for our heroine.

Currently, She-Hulk is an active member of the Avengers. She fought alongside the team ever since Jason Aaron began writing for the series, and was even involved in the War of the Realms plot that threatened the world. And she shows no signs of leaving.

4 A-Force to Be Reckoned With

Another famous team that She-Hulk joined with was the A-Force. The A-Force is an all-female team of some of the most iconic ladies in the Marvel universe. Here she fought alongside Dazzler, Captain Marvel, Queen Medusa, Nico Minoru, and Singularity.

The series has since concluded, but more than one fan out there would love to see the series boot back up again – especially given all of the changes our ladies have been facing as of late. It would be fascinating to see how things go this time around.

3 Grey Hulk

Speaking of changes, lately, She-Hulk has been going through a lot of them. During Civil War II, She-Hulk and a team went up against Thanos in an attempt to take him down. They succeeded, but She-Hulk was seriously wounded.When she woke up, Jennifer found that her Hulk form had changed – likely due to the loss and anxiety, she was experiencing. Her Hulk form was now Gray Hulk, and she didn't have nearly the same level of control as she once did.

2 Another Dose of Gamma

Almost immediately following Jennifer getting control of her Hulk form, she faced another dramatic change. During one of her first missions as a newly reinstated Avenger, she became exposed to an even stronger dose of gamma radiation.

The end result? She-Hulk gained more muscle mass, and thus strength. But she also lost a lot of what had originally made her so unique – her ability to rationalize and communicate within that form. On the bright side, She-Hulk now seems to be almost explosively full of gamma radiation, giving her a new boost like she's never seen before. The real trick is learning how to control all of this new power.

Bucky and Nat were each other's best friend, lover angle was secondary. Btw Steve and Nat were a couple in the comics too in the Ultimates Russos also take inspirations. But in cinematic part of this universe friends, family.

Steve and Nat were couple at earth 555326 and, guess? All dead. In the cartoon series based on that, too. That’s says too much. Bucky is Nat soulmate. And Russos are following earth 616, Battleword :)

The whole Battleword scenario post Earth-610 to Earth-616 is such dumb “fanservice” (Try and hide your shame to try not to say you’ve just decided to make a really easy to exploit scenario for your comic book, Marvel Head Honchos). I’m curious to find out how it gets resolved.

Marvel Comics - Marvel Secret Wars Battleworlds and Marvel Action: Spider-Man have been nominated, and we want to confirm whether they should be approved as separate universes or combined with another fandom tag. We think Battlewords might be a separate universe based on the AO3 Marvel Comics tagging structure but we aren't familiar with either and would love to hear from any comics fans about where they belong, otherwise we will approve them as is

Tomb Raider - pairings have been moved as needed to fit the following split: "Tomb Raider - Original Timeline", "Tomb Raider - Legend Timeline", "Tomb Raider - 2013 Timeline", or "Tomb Raider (Movie 2018)". Popular (TV) - Brooke Davis/Sam McCall has been nominated under Popular (but appears to actually be a crossover for One Tree Hill/General Hospital.) We think the Popular characters Brooke McQueen/Sam McPherson were most likely intended and will approve as such if we haven't heard from the nominator

Wrestling - is "Professional Wrestling" the same as "World Wrestling Entertainment", and if so should "Nurse Ratchet/Buggy Nova" be combined with WWE or should the WWE pairings be moved to Professional Wrestling? We will combine all pairings under Professional Wrestling as an umbrella fandom if we haven't heard from the nominator or other wrestling fans.

Worst Witch - All Media Types - this is the incorrect fandom under our shared universe rules, please comment with a link to your nominations page and let us know which Worst Witch you prefer otherwise the pairings of Mildred/Enid and Mildred/Ethel will be combined under Worst Witch 2017
