We could have had a really good moment to showcase that changing who you are for your partner isn't always good and that most of the time your SO won't want you to change your core being!

If Matthew had just talked to Jay and said these things outloud, told him that it's his differences that define him and is what's attractive about him, then that would have been monumental to show people!

You can have couples who are wildly opposite but still be together. They just take work and communication!

Maybe Jay spending time with the wolves will remind him to be himself but also that he can be gentle too. Wolves are incredibly family oriented animals and fierce when they need to be, and gentle at other times.

Ngl, Matthew's dream sequence was actually pretty cool but also heartbreaking. Gdi....
