Exterminator program, you say? I'd like to ask about that.

So the Exterminator program is for ages 13-18, and then there's a sort of apprenticeship program where the new Exterminator works under one of the more senior ones to gain experience.

At the beginning of the year, each parent with a child who has turned or will turn 13 between the previous testing event and the next testing event recieves a letter inviting them to enroll their child in the testing for this program. The letter includes all the information and application forms.

The event, which takes place in the summer, is hosted in the Inner City. There's three types of testing done over the course of a couple days. Knowledge of common core subjects (think standardized testing), physical fitness (like fitness testing), and a physical examination (checking for any irregularities in vital signs, blood work, etc. anything that might stop them from being an efficient Exterminator).

There's no entry fees and room and board will be paid for one child and one guardian, if the guardian can't afford it themself. They want as many potential Exterminators as possible.

For any students that make it into the program, the school is a boarding school in the Inner City. Very few students make it in, and even fewer get through the entire program. Ghoul was in the program and got almost all the way through it before he ran away to the Zones.

Random Killjoy Headcanons I think about at 1 am

- Part Poison Loves Lady Gaga. The rest of the Fab Four have to endure hearing Judas on loop for hours at least once a week 

- Kobra is 100 percent sure that Unicorns exist somewhere far away from bat city and the zones. He tells any new killjoy that Unicorns are real and live in what used to be Europe. 

- The idea that there is life/a different civilization past the Rocky Mountains. BLI tech can’t reach through the natural barrier so nobody knows what happens past the mountains nor does anyone return if they go past them. 

- The general Idea that Korse and Poison knew each other before Poison defected and that's why he wasn’t a real threat in the na na na mv. 

- Party would find Inspo in magazines and such and would paint whatever he wanted on the trams am. Party often stays up all night drawing on the trans am and Fun ghoul will frequently join in when he can’t sleep. 

- Jet Star always finds things to give as gifts to the girl, especially plushies. He will also willingly carry around the Girl’s favorite plush so she doesn’t loose it. 

- Sometimes in Dr. D’s broadcasts he would make vague statement that could be about anything but the Fab Four are convinced he's referring to them and they always argue about who its about. 

- Dr. D was an actual doctor before the helium wars, but he had a doctorate in something super science-y. The dracs/korse have never been able to find him because he has such an extremely advance setup even for bli standards it just looks ratty on the outside.

So, update

One of the killjoys, Killjoy name Horseshoe Crab real name Joseph Trohman, is conscious now. All their blasters were confiscated upon capture and they are all unarmed, but he is showing signs of sadness, "Chem never got to meet us!" he says, sobbing.

Also as it turns out I am supervising these four during their re-education period
