I've been memeing on Dazai and leaning on the theories that's its all his plan he's doing this to convince fyodor and Sigma etc but it didn't hit me at all till watching episode 8 that he may have been genuinely trying to reach Chuuya by mentioning their partnership

Like I do think Dazai was being honest in that speech but the anime has made me think he is trying to get into chuuya's head and ch 109 kept springing up in my mind while watching

That implies that there isn't a 100% certainty he's conscious yet in ch 109

But Dazai has already placed his trust and life on Chuuya at that point too

Chuuya can understand Dazai so well because his mind is actually similar to Dazai's.

These two understand each other the most. They "hate" the other because they can see hints of themselves in each other. It is why they are convinced in the other's humanity when they question it on themselves. It's why they don't do much talking and yet arrive to the same conclusions. It's why they work so well. They're different in so many aspects on the surface, but deep inside, they know it's like looking in the mirror.

They don't have to agree, but they do understand the thought process BECAUSE they've thought of it before.

They probably rarely had to talk beyond short arguments because they don't need to talk to know what the other is thinking. They always agree at times when it mattered the most.

"Soulmates" is the only possible definition for these two because there's no better way to describe them.

What got you into art? Who/what inspired you to start?

this is going to sound reallyyy corny but it was my mom. she's been an artist since i was little (like, exhibiting in galleries and stuff) so i grew up painting with acrylic and watercolor and collages and whatever else i could get my little hands on 😭

she's always been such a huge supporter of me drawing for fun, even if it's fanart or whatever, and she actually really pushed me to go to college studying art or animation because she knows i like it so much. i ended up majoring in cs bc i wanted more stability in a job (so thats out the window LMAOOO), but i still do art on the side and my mom still follows me on my socials and gives support <3
