Eddie sparked up, savoring the hit, offered it to Chrissy. She shook her head politely, passed it along. As Ed exhaled, an epiphany struck, a divine design. His gaze slid to Billy, traced from the crotch of his gym shorts to the tank snug against his abs, his chest, to the lips already curled in anticipation, the eyes already looking back.

“Wanna show her a trick?” Eddie asked, and Billy scooted forward, his knees brushing Chrissy’s thigh, passed him the joint. Ed adjusted, one leg folded along Chrissy’s side, hitching the other so her shins sandwiched his, and filled his lungs with smoke.

Billy grabbed his neck, pulling, angled parted lips, and Ed breathed out as Billy breathed in, sucked in Eddie’s smoke like a flue. They drew back, grey whisps unfurling from Billy’s open-mouthed lazy smile, but he kept his throat shut, holding it in.

Billy cut a glance to Chrissy, as did Ed, and at her gaping goldfish shock Billy spasmed, laughing as he coughed the smoke in bursts behind a loose fist.

“Still with us, Chris?” he gasped, eyes watering.

What's your mum like?

She's very sweet! She loves me a lot! And I love her a lot! She's hard-working, but still makes time for me and my sister (how does she do it???). She really does her best to make sure we are happy and know we are loved.

We had some rough patches before she knew I was autistic; she wouldn't understand why I got so upset over things that were trivial to her or why I couldn't do something seemingly easy for other kids my age. I was also a very angry child (still am) and didn't know how to deal with my emotions, which certainly didn't help- our relationship has improved a lot though! She always tries to make sure I'm accomodated and comfortable.

She likes cooking a lot. Emma and I get to taste test any new recipe she tries, though I'm not much help since I don't like a lot of foods, haha. I often tell her about whatever thing I'm currently interested in during dinner since it's one of the times when no one in the house is busy
