Buzz x Jessie headcannons 🏜️🛸

- Jessie’s freckles are Buzz’s favourite thing about her, he calls her ‘his night sky’

- Buzz took a while to forgive himself after Sunnyside, and was extremely gentle with Jessie

- Buzz would sneak onto the computer so he could learn how to braid Jessie’s hair

- He definitely hates it when Jessie lassos him, definitely does not secretly love it at all

- During spring cleaning, to prepare for being put away in boxes for safekeeping, Buzz teaches Jessie breathing exercises. Bonnie always puts them in the same box anyway

Toy Story Gang with Clingy Reader

Request: hiiii! can i request woody, jessie, buzz and ts4 bo (separate pls!) with a VERY VERYYYYY clingy reader who will very much wrap their arms around Woody/Jessie/Buzz/Bo whenever they get the chance or sumthin like that?

Woody

Woody might not outwardly show it all the time, but he really enjoys your clinginess

He will encourage it too, if you don't immediately do it for whatever reason he will move to a position that makes it easier for you to do so

If you're shorter than him, lots of piggy back rides and hugs where you're practically hanging off of him

He might get a little embarrassed by it if you do it when he's trying to be all important hotshot leader

But he's not gonna ask you to stop because he doesn't want you to feel like you can't cling to him, so he'll just awkwardly try and get business done around you

Jessie

Like Woody, Jessie really likes your clinginess but unlike Woody she will be open and proud of it

She will initiate it if you don't, after being neglected for so long it feels nice to have someone who wants her in any capacity much less wants to show that much affection to her

Expect lots of high energy hugs and spins as she will find lots of ways to incorporate her hyperactive energy into the hugs

And she's a bragger, she will brag to the other toys that you've chosen her over them

Cuddles also sometimes involve Bullseye because the two are inseparable! Two for the price of one!

Buzz Lightyear

It's a little fascinating to him that you like to cuddle him, because he's not a ragdoll like Woody or Jessie. He's made of plastic and as a result he can imagine hugging him would be very comfortable at all

Still, he enjoys it immensely. He will absolutely initiate it as well if you don't, he isn't ashamed

He will absolutely just sit somewhere with you and never leave if you don't want to leave, like he is committed to your clinginess

His buttons definitely go off a lot when you hug him and it makes you both laugh every time because you'll just be cuddling and then boom his voice box goes off

He wants to be hugging you all the time, seriously you're not the clingy one in this situation, he is

Bo Peep

She doesn't understand why you're so clingy and she isn't sure how to feel about it at first. She might push you away the first few times you do it just because it will be so strange to her

But over time, she'll warm up to it. She doesn't get to experience the gentle touches of a child anymore and your hugs are the closest thing she has to it

She won't initiate it but like Woody she'll make herself more available to being hugged if you don't immediately wrap your arms around her

She will ask though that you don't squeeze too hard, she is after all very fragile, she was never technically meant to be a toy and she doesn't want to break apart more than she already has

Using her cane to pull you close if you're not within arms reach because she really wants to hug you again

You know, I've been re watching the Toy Story movies, and I just thought of something I think is cute. In the same way that Mr and Mrs Potatohead adopt the aliens, what if Jessis and Buzz save a toy and treat her like a daughter? And they help save her from nearly being sold at a garage sale? Really fluffy? Jesse helping the little toy through a panic attack after Buzz saves her and keeps her from being caught?

I love this idea omg also, this is written to take place post Toy Story 4, and was written so the reader can be pretty any toy you want!

     It was the middle of summer and you had been stuck on this table all day. Several time kids had picked you up and ran up to their parents excitedly, you watch hoping their parents would let them keep you but they always shook their head and the child would reluctantly put you back, sparing one last look before leaving. After the fifth time today you had given up hope on finding a new home. You began thinking back on what led you here, it was the day that every toy dreaded, when their kids parent came in with a box telling them to clear out some toys for a yard sale. You knew your chances of staying were slim, spending most of you time stuck in the toy box hardly ever coming out unless their was a large scale toy war going on and you needed to be used to fill in the troops. But it stung regardless being put in that box.

     Now being as lost in thought as you were you missed the quick flash of green and purple that shot in between the bushes a few feet away from you. “What’s in looking like Jesse?” the green and purple clad toy asked to their partner also hiding in this bush.  “There’s not all that many toys left here but I’m seeing a few on the table by us” The red haired cowgirl, Jesse responded. “What’re you thinking here Buzz?” She asked her partner when she saw him deep in thought.  “We can continue the stakeout and if no one picks them up we can get them before they end up being thrown away” And with a shared look and a nod they settled in to wait. This had become a new tradition that the toys did during the summer whenever Bonnie was at camp scouring local yard sales to see if there were any toys that were gonna be thrown away. They’d rescue them and bring them home to Bonnie, who’d never say no to some new toys and would make sure they felt welcomed. 

     You knew the yard sale was coming to a close and dread filled you, all that was left was you a small car by the end but last minute a small boy came by grabbing the car and happily playing with it as his mom bought it for him. Now it was just you. Fear overtook you and it took all of your willpower to not just curl up into yourself. You knew what came next the thought of the trash can only furthering you anxieties. Once again you found yourself lost in your own thoughts but were snapped out of it when you noticed a cow girl doll trying to get your attention. “Howdy! I’m Jessie and I’m here to get you a new home” She smiled at you comfortingly and you were overcome not sure what to do, taking a quick glance to see if there were any people nearby but you saw they were all preoccupied by something happening in a bush several feet away. Before you could stumble out any sort of response Jessie grabbed you and pulled you off the table to somewhere out of sight. 

     Everything that had happened today, getting tossed to the yard sale and then almost thrown away? It was a lot to take in for one day and was just overwhelming and you found yourself beginning to breathe rapidly, your hands shaking. You saw that Jessie was trying to talk to you but you couldn’t understand anything over the ringing in your ears. Jessie then firmly put a hand on you, waiting a moment to see if you were okay with the contact when you didn’t jerk away she began to talk mush quieter and in a more relaxed tone. “Hey, its all gonna be alright, you’re safe now, we’re gonna get ya to a nice new home alright? Just breathe nice and easy with me now” She began slowly breathing in and out at a steady pace. After a few moments you began to come to again, joining her in the steady breathing. As this went on you felt yourself coming to your senses the ringing now completely gone and your hands stilling. “There we go, feelin’ better?” You nod slightly and Jessie smiles once again. “is it alright if I hug you?” She waits for your approval and once you give it to her she envelops you in a warm embrace and you feel calm for the first time all day.

     “The distraction has proved succesful” you turn your head away from Jessie to see a purple and green spaceman running towards the both of you. He skids to a stop when he sees you and Jesse and looks relieved. Jessie pulls away from you and gestures to the spaceman. “This is Buzz and Buzz this is…” she trails off waiting for your answer

“Y/N, I’m y/n” you fill in after a moment, looking between Jessie and Buzz and instantly feeling at ease. “So you said you had a place for me to go?” Jessie nods excitedly

“Yep! You gotta meet out human Bonnie! She’ll love to have a new toy!”

“Are you sure that’s alright?” You asked once again getting nervous but this time Buzz gently grabs you hand

“Of course it is space ranger” you laugh lightly before tightening your grip on his hand l

“Let’s go then” the two of them smile at you fondly before beginning to lead the way to your new home.
