my pseudonym is ceres luna, but you can call me ceres, celu, or celuna; it's all the same to me. i'm from the u.s. of puerto rican descent. i love reading, writing, drawing, singing, rapping, watching anime, socializing, putting on makeup, doing contortions, etc. i love everything, but at the same time i love nothing. i have thousands of things to say, but when i open my mouth, nothing comes out. i'd like to be friends with everyone, but people tire me. i fall in love easily, but i don't have feelings. i might have autism. and schizophrenia. or schizophrenia. it's all the same to me.

Alright. Okay. Alright so. I have access to a computer for a few weeks. Which means writing is about to get a hell of a lot easier for me. Which means I'm a hell of a lot more hype to talk about Tales of the Other Gods. SO! With that being said let's get to it ^^

We start this particular tale with Cetta(They/them) and Tavan(She/her). Both are some of the older of the gods that will be introduced in the story proper but I digress. Cetta and Tavan are the God of Agriculture and the God of Time respectively. Now we also have a third player in all of this and that is Gwynoveer. Now the thing about all of this is that in the story proper you will never actually meet Cetta. Cetta has already gone Nova at this point (The term for a god fading out of existence, that's part of the star system more on that later.) So Gwynoveer is currently the God of Agriculture. But that was not originally what he was made to do.

At a point in time prior to Cetta dying and Gywnoveer taking over he was originally made to replace Tavan. There had been a point in time where Tavan's star had briefly dimmed and as a result, Celuna fearing the worst if the God of time were to die, created a new god that was to learn from Tavan how to take over and be the god of time. Gwynoveer never really resonated with time though. He couldn't seem to grasp and sort of time related power or quite understand how to preform his duties. However he did sneak off to the Garden in the Stars frequently though. Which is where he met Cetta before they went nova. At this point in the panic of making sure time would remain constant despite Tavan being in no real danger of going nova distracted everyone from realizing that Cetta was fading at a rapid rate. Now of course Gwynoveer had no reason for knowing this either and yet he choose to return to the Garden in the Stars over and over. He absolutely loved listening to Cetta about every plant and there needs and all of the gossip they heard from the plants, an amazing gift that Cetta had. Now the interesting thing is that the more time Cetta spent with Gwynoveer the more they started to notice about him, things that didn't quite seem befitting of someone who is supposedly made to maintain time. Things that not even Gwynoveer knows about himself even. Cetta starts realizing that Gwyn can understand the plants, that he shows more potential as a replacement for them than he ever did as a replacement for Tavan. Mind you Cetta is the only one aware that they're fading so they haven't exactly made a successor or picked a godling to train to replace them. They trusted in Celuna's universe to send them who would be best even if Celuna herself wouldn't or couldn't. And it did. Gwynoveer is truly the best possible replacement of them that they couldn't hope to find someone else. And this is exactly what they tell Celuna. By the time that anyone realizes that Cetta is fading it's far too late to try and stop or prolong it. They're ready to go and they know that the Garden in the Stars will be well taken care of. And that confuses Celuna, cause to her knowledge there isn't anyone. Except when Celuna is begging Cetta to choose someone on they're death bed they look up at Celuna and they say "The universe has already sent me someone. You were just to blind to see him for what he was made to do. I want Gwynoveer to replace me." And Celuna tries to fight them on that, trying to say that it's impossible as he's training to be a god of time and that they've never even met. Of which Gwynoveer end up finally coming clean in his visits to the Garden in the Stars. Yet he doesn't understand how he's fit to be a replacement quite fully either. But Cetta is insistent. They look up at Celuna, and they go "I know this boy will do great things given he's where he belongs. Now you listen here. I've been in this world long enough to know when I'm right. You will make Gwynoveer the new God of Agriculture and he will be the keeper of the timeless garden." And that's it. Those were Cetta's dying words. And that title "Keeper of the timeless Garden" it stuck. It ended up as Gwynoveer's godly title.

But even though he's so clearly made for this, the universe going against Celuna when he was made to give him a role he's more suited for he still feels so very guilty for abandoning his training under Tavan. Tavan holds no ill will towards him. She knew Cetta just as well as as Gwynoveer did, which is to say they knew they would never try and jeopardize their home, but even still Gwyn knows he wasn't technically made with that purpose in mind by Celuna. He knows she's upset. Not at him, but at herself for not noticing sooner but to Gwyn it's the same thing. And it's causing him to start cracking. Literally and metaphorically. He's own guilt is quite literally making it more and more possible for his entire being to split and facet much like Ardoure's had. Mind you Ardoure does not have facets due to trauma or guilt and stress, but rather due to personal choice. But Gwynoveer is so split on his role in life that it makes it all the more possible for his entire being to have to split the longer he exists in this place of uncertainty and guilt.

And that's about what i have planned out for those three ^^ I've been wanting to talk about them for so long but there's so much to say and only so much you can type on a phone. I'm well aware this will probably go ignored but it makes me happy to post them and I hope at least one person enjoys my ramblings as well.

“You’d think I wouldn’t, considering I’m a princess of Jubiland.” Celuna added. “But I was born with Moon Powers, and the ancient stories say that those born of the Moon Goddess’ powers happen only once every thousand years. But for some reason, mine are more....powerful than any other wielder of Moon Magic in the past. And they get almost uncontrollable in a full moon. I have to turn into my pixie form just to not unleash it upon anyone. It would be....devastating.”

Celuna, respectfully, you're wrong. Forgetting history and burying it down only makes way for history to repeat, would you rather have 20 forgotten Gods or one remembered to everyone can learn and grow from the pain? It's like humanity, when we erase the past we doom ourselves to repeat. Gods are no different.

Respectfully I sincerely doubt the god in question even believes that. He was treated the same as he treated everyone else. I do this to protect the ones I love. I will not risk losing anyone to him.

Alright yall. I know none of yall actually see this and most if not all yall follow me to reblog the shit I reblog but it's god talk time again. This is less so about specific gods and more a mechanic that I have in my story. So if any of yall interested buckle up cause it's a fun one

So. If yall have seen any of the other posts in the god talk tag you've seen Ardoure. And you've also seen the facets if Ardoure tag. And that is a system that works in the entirety of the gods as well. And in terms of lore its another way that gods are created.

With Ardoure their facets exist as a way to maintain balance in their duties. So in order to be unbiased in how they store memories gods like Desiderus and Hiraeth exist. And they're facets. Meaning that they exist outside of Ardoure but are unable to exist without Ardoure existing. But gods like Lethos despite originating as a facet are considered shards. So while their existence entirely is dependent on another god should that god die the other will exist. That god is then considered a Shard.

Now of course that doesn't mean all the gods have facets or even shards. Some gods like Celuna are whole. Or even gods like Gwynoveer(More on him later) are cracked, meaning that there is a high probability for the god to create a facet or even shard.

And this is just what I've created in this system so far!! It's still a work in progress but ar I post more god talk characters woth these terms I figured yall would want to know what it all means
