Dear Heathers Fandom
A'ight, now that I have your attention, I'm sure you've seen many a post about this sort of thing and they can get long so I'll try to keep it simple.
Basically, someone (I'm not going to say any names) started talking to me about ships and started doing the whole "That ship is abusive that's terrible that you like that". Honestly, I thought just maybe people were moving past this. I guess not.
Listen to me when I say that every ship in Heathers is messed up in some way or another and everyone should understand that. Heathers is a really twisted story with twisted characters. We ship characters in Heathers because we see chemistry even if there's something messed up in their relationship. We shouldn't over look the issues but in head canons and AUs it's okay to change their stories. The discourse ships cause is nuts which is why I try to have a bit of everything on this blog.
My point is ship who you want to ship and stop demonizing ships and characters. Just enjoy it and let other people do the same!
Thank you for your time and have a lovely day!

Number 6 with Chandler and Mac because there isn't enough Chandlemara on the internet
i agree
6) lazy morning kisses before they’ve even opened their eyes, still mumbling half-incoherently, not wanting to wake up
Ouch.
The first thing Chandler noticed was that her head fucking hurt. Like, a lot. It was heavy and ringing, and glued to the impossibly soft pillow she was lying on.
It took her a few moments of mental work to figure out that she was experiencing a hangover. Great.
She dared not open her eyes, knowing sunlight was likely to pierce her skull as soon as she did so. Instead, she buried her face further into the pillow, and noted that the fabric didn’t quite smell like hers.
Then it hit her, when she could pick up on the sweet scent of Mac’s perfume.’
So this was Mac’s bed. So that must mean-
An arm suddenly wrapped around her torso and dragged her across the mattress, pressing her chest up against who she could only assume was Mac. She let out a quiet, tired groan, as she lazily let her arm flop around her neck and her fingers run through her hair.
The hair was long and messy. Definitely Mac’s.
“Hangover?” she heard her mumble. Chandler groaned.
“Duh.”
In response, Mac yanked her even closer, up until their legs were tangled and she could feel her hot breath skim her lips. She was tempted to open her eyes to see her, but her lids were so heavy that they might as well been glued shut. Instead, she just shuffled forward, up until her lips found something soft, warm, and slightly wet.
The kiss was soft, lazy and brief.
“Tired?”
Chandler gave a light huff.
“That tends to come with hangovers, Mac.”
“Tell me about it.”
Mac then pressed her lips against hers again, and her fingers traced patterns over her back, fingertips light and soft and soothing. It was nice, but it wasn’t really where she needed it. Not breaking their messy, blind kiss, Chandler grabbed Mac’s wrist and brought it up to her head. She felt her lips curl into a lopsided smile.
“Right,” she murmured against her lips, before kissing her again. Chandler sighed as she felt her run her fingers through her curls, almost forgetting to do the same thing back. She then felt her hand slide over her temple and down to her cheek, cupping it and brushing her fingers over her skin. She felt tingles run through her scalp and down her spine.
“This okay?” Mac asked, her voice quiet. Chandler gave a nod, before closing the gap yet again. This time she wasn’t exact with her aim, but she was too tired to open her eyes to care. Instead she just searched for the gap between her lips with her tongue, and happily slipped it in. Mac gave a groan, and she tugged her closer, hand snaking around the cup the back of her neck. Chandler quietly whined as their tongues brushed and her fingers caressed.
Then after a while, she blinked open her eyes. As expected, the room was bright to the point of it being painful, but that didn’t matter when she gazed into Mac’s tired, speckled brown gaze. She gave a lazy smile to her, and Mac returned the expression.
“Want me to get Veronica to whip a hangover cure?” Mac asked. Chandler gave a sigh.
“Yes.”
She glanced at Mac as she sat up, then turned towards her door. Chandler was quick to cover her ears, knowing her hangover-infected brain wouldn’t be able to handle her yelling,
“VERONICAAAAAA-!”
“Jesus Christ, I’m right here!”
Both Chandler and Mac turned over to see Veronica, hidden behind Chandler, and rubbing her eyes with a pained expression.
“Sorry, I didn’t realise!” Mac replied sheepishly. Veronica just groaned as she sat up.
“Whatever. Hangover cure, right?”
Chandler fluttered her lashes at her hopefully, sweetly grinning. Veronica rolled her eyes, before slipping out of bed.
“Heather’s already up. I’ll get her to make the other one.”
“Thank you Ronnie!” Mac cooed.
“We love you, ‘Ronica,” Chandler sang. Veronica just gave a tired groan, before trudging out the room.
As soon as she was gone, Chandler wrapped her arms around Mac and pulled her back in, letting her fall on top of her as she caught her lips in another kiss.
