I stopped buying from Newcl0ver last year after I saw first hand how greedy they have become. (I use plural pronouns because I refuse to believe Chr1stina is one person.) I had an order in on this bust stand that was per my recollection 3-4 months production time on the product page when I first purchased it. They delete the product pages after preorders so I don't remember. Anyhow, it took way longer than that, I asked them about the order multiple times since I saw people on IG get theirs, and they just kept saying "soon, soon". At 8 months I said I want to cancel. They said that it's ok, but they can only refund me 75% of the price because they will make a loss since they cannot cancel the order to the store and have to resell my order at loss. I agreed if only to be out of it, because I thought it's fair that we share the loss.
Well, a few months later I saw *my* bust stand listed in their "in stock -30% off" category, with my exact order options, and they were asking MORE than I paid during my initial order. I was still able to access my order notes through my profile and check. So I guess that's why they remove the original listings before people get their goods, huh? -30% off? Compared to what? Not the price I paid. I felt like they just scammed me out of 25% of my payment using the pity card and then cashed in some extra on someone else, too.
Their Taobao fees have skyrocketed. A couple years ago, it used to be the price in CNY x 0,19, but now it's already price in CNY x 0,22. One CNY is 0,14 USD so for every dollar you spend in their store, 36 cents go directly into their pocket for just receiving your box and sending it forward. And it's true that the fee includes free standard international shipping to most countries, but still, it's quite a big fee to pay for sending them a ready list of Taobao links and having your stuff drop-shipped to you. The difference in past and current service fees is even more gross considering they used to send monthly 10-15 usd off or 5% off coupons with their newsletters, but no longer do. When I asked them last year why the fees have risen and discounts stopped, they said it's due to the bad exchange rate of CNY to USD. I googled it and while it's true that the rate momentarily fluctuated in 2021-2022, for the past 6 months the exchange rate of CNY-USD has been at the same level as in 2020, so their excuse seems lacking.
I have had several missing items from each of my six large Taobao orders, but I was patient with reminding them about the items because I thought my orders are painfully big (100+ items). But, if you get paid the price you named for your service, is it really on the customer to feel like a burden when you eff up? It was often the expensive items that I had to chase after, too. Like, once when I ordered 30 bags of beads ranging from 1 to 20 dollars, it was the freshwater pearls that cost 20 dollars that were missing. She did always refund me or send the missing items, but it took me a lot of time to check and report, and I had to pay extra customs fees for the after-deliveries.
I used to be a loyal fan of Newcl0ver but I've removed all the messages in my socials where I nudged people towards ordering from them to avoid M00nlightbjdh0use's scammy high agent fees. Now I place Newcl0ver at the same low level as M00n. I'm gonna have to find myself a new doll dealer, since the two big USA dealers don't match my criteria, either. I have heard good things of Magus' agent services, but have yet to try them. Christina is not an official agent of most the artists they claim to represent, anyway, so it's the same to straight out go to someone who is open about not being an official dealer and prices accordingly.

Drawing a Liyue character every day until CNY day 5: Yaoyao!
Tumblr media
OTP(s): None.
Relationships I like with her in:
-Yaoyao, Qiqi and Baizhu :) the og dendro-ers and Qiqi
-Cloud retainer, Madame Ping and Yaoyao (reminder that Xianyun made Yuegui for Yaoyao :3)
-Basically all the adepti and Yaoyao.
Things I like about this character: My love for Yaoyao was because of just how long she’d been hinted at but not shown (since 2020) and her connection to the Bubu pharmacy gang who I love. But when she released, a lot of my appreciation for her was because of nostalgia. Lantern rite is already a nostalgic time, but her music (underrated af), her character design and her personality all made me love her more because she reminds me of my childhood and a lot of my irl younger sibling :)
Meta stuff: C2, I don’t really use her in any team comps yet. Once Madame Ping is released (in the next 6 million years) I might put her in a team with Ping, Yanfei and Xiangling to be lore accurate~. Yaoyao is actually a pretty good character, I’m just slightly adverse to dendro for no real reason. My sibling mains her though!
HCs: Just little stories about what she might get up to, how she would interact with different characters and NPCs. What do the Millelith think of her, does she interact with them? Do they have a weird allyship or does she avoid them? Is she regarded by the public slightly more like Shenhe (borderline seen as an adeptus herself) or Xiangling (not many people know she’s a disciple)? I’d like to see more Yaoyao content with the release of Chenyu vale, even though she’s more based in Qingce (her and Baizhu deserve a patch based in Chenyu vale I do think).

Ough excited for yr of the rabbit but unfortunately it's also reminding me of that cursed period of time in 2020 when md zs fandom was having insane discourse about whether it was racist to draw the characters with rat ears and tails for cny art ... In the year of the rat....

Personal ramble 4 Feb 2024
So Chinese New Year is coming up next week. For those who don't know CNY is the biggest holiday for Chinese people, and we usually celebrate it for 16 days: from the last day of the previous lunar year to the 15th day of the new lunar year, which for this year is from 9th to 24th, although official holidays lasts for a week only,
And when I say it's the biggest holiday, it's big. There's a bunch of traditions: going to the flower market, getting flowers, getting new clothes, spring cleaning, decorating the house with couplets, visiting friends and relatives, having a big family meal, unmarried people get red packets/money etc etc. It's a happy time. And this year is the first CNY after the pandemic
Unfortunately for me, my family can't do most of the fun things this year.
My grandfather on my dad's side passed last November, and according to tradition, for a full year after an elder in the family passes, we're not really allowed to celebrate CNY. In fact, we're not allowed to decorate the house with couplets for three years. Filial piety is one of the most important values for Chinese people (which is why I have so many parental issues) and my dad is his father's only son, aka sort of the "heir" of the family, so we need to follow tradition.
And I understand and respect this tradition, I get why we have to follow it, but it's still kind of a pity that we can't join the festivities after most of the fun stuff was put on pause in 2020.
yeah just a sort of life update

I see people on twitter now recently reposting qinni's artworks. I miss her :(
I was aware of her condition from the time i started following her(that was like 5 years ago) and she said she might still have time(this was 2020). Her condition was actually getting worse. I remember she was on weibo wishing everyone happy cny and told everyone to keep themselves safe from the virus before she passed away :(
I dont draw often now but she was one of my biggest inspirations, i hope shes happy in another world

"It's not every day we get to have the chef of Wanmin Restaurant cook for us. Let's see if she lives up to her reputation!" "Hehe, maybe while everyone is busy, Paimon can…" "Hey! Why have you started eating!" Maybe the meaning of CNY is to spend time with who you really care.

yooooo anon here did u see the gamepress article abt wheres dorothy?? i read it jn and damn....... future event life is looking. wow. kinda messed up. ngl im not too happy abt it w the constant reshuffling like.... i really think they should've ran dorothy with cc then put dh rerun afterwards so they can stick to the sched more like,,,, i didn't see it before but now theres even a chance that mlynar would be pushed back until behind texalter,,, kinda iffy.
not that dead weeks (i personally count cc as a deadweek lol) are bad but like man.... im just kinda iffed. it is like a hope of mine that we can eventually match up w cn in such a way that the cny ops fall tgt w cny period so i can have the festive period luck upon me 🥹 and summer ops dont matter bcs it is summer everyday anyday here lol but yeah i want cny ops during cny so after i lao yusheng i can gacha and hopefully come out with nice luck (ok sorry off topic)
anyways thoughts on the schedules so far? (have a nice day as usual hehe)
i don't put much stock in gamepress, or datamines, personally. i've been around in arknights for long enough that people thought from datamines that darknights memoir would be in october of 2020 and it wasn't until january of 2021 and things like twilight of wolumonde got shuffled because of it.
my theory on the schedule stands, and it's that cc is a dead week to give everyone a breather on dorothy, and she's gonna overlap with the dossoles holiday rerun, followed by mlynar and near light rerun. or even that they have enough time to space all of that out slightly more.
why? because this game is predictable enough with its limited ops that limited ops on the english servers try to hit on the anniversaries and halfiversaries. it's only rational based on their past behavior- and that alone- that they're going to do il siracusano at the end of august for the halfiversary. this is the whole reason they moved gavialter up. every time arknights has made a big schedule change like this it's to put up a limited operator for an anniversary.
that leaves them months to throw in everything that got pushed back for gavialter. read: dorothy. contingency contract is right now rather than dorothy because arknights' scheduling is usually pretty kind. they like to take a little bit of a break before throwing a new operator at you, is all.it gives people a chance to recover slightly before dorothy. i'm really not that worried, and i think a lot of people are overblowing it because in my mind there is a infinitesimally small chance that anything but the schedule returning to usual after putting il siracusano on the 3.5 anniversary happens, with chong yue and lin releasing on global 4th anniversary. apart from this, i don't think that the LNY ops are ever going to be actually released on a LNY date, lmao. unless some more schedule shit happens. who knows. they're probably going to want the LNY ops to be halfiversary ops, unfortunately...which is a bit of a shame.
anyway, yeah, tldr, i don't trust gamepress with anything except doing the math to calculate that i have everything to e2lv90m9 mlynar (i do) and people love worrying like there isn't enough time between today and august to fit in everything that got rotated because the arknights team likes making limited ops exist for anniversary events.

De staatsschuld en China
Tumblr media
Kenneth Sukul   Read the full article

How the global economy situation and duopoly market affect a PC consumer
As we all know, since the beginning of 2020 Covid-19 spread and ravaged globally and led to a series of negative impacts including inflation unemployment, and shutdown of firms the whole world is having a hard time. In this case, the global shortage of steel production capacity, raw materials for many industrial facilities and electronics, and the accompanying shortage of silicon have had a severe impact on the price of the PC hardware market. Moreover, the price of Bitcoin has skyrocketed, and a large number of gamers or people who want to profit from it have started buying GPUs and profiting from the virtual currency. Generally speaking, the civilian GPU market is a case of duopoly, with NVIDIA and AMD products virtually monopolizing the market, while the former has a higher market share than the latter and has a better fit and adaption for gaming. However, the price of all computer hardware has risen dramatically, especially GPUs, and at the time, I was in the 10th grade, which coincided with the release of Cyberpunk 2077, and I decided to assemble a personal computer because of this game and personal interests. Duopoly is still a kind of monopoly which means the absolute market power and the ability to make the price is divided by 2 into two producers. For the general consumers, we want to more competitive market and more producers who may produce goods or services with lower prices and better quality. Majority of the advanced technology companies have strong barriers which means not all people can participate in the market easily. Due to the global factors and the structure of the market, the price of a brand new RTX 3070 that I bought was six thousand CNY, which was supposed to be three or four thousand CNY. At the same time, the general price of other accessories increased by ten to twenty percent. I have to spend twenty percent more money on a personal computer which is not worth that much. This is my personal experience and I got a better understanding of the truth behind this event after I learned this course. To sum up, all of us are affected by the global economy because everyone is a part of the giant economy even though it is just a trifle like assembling a personal computer and we can make wise choices if we can find out how this market works and economics concepts.

Bußgelder wegen Vorstoß gegen die DSGVO
Tumblr media
In ihren zwölf Programmen bildet sie Studierende zu nachgefragten und leistungsstarken Talenten für die globale Geschäftswelt aus, in Management, Leadership, Data Sciences, AI und Softwareengeneering. i’m running out of titles for my cpn posts so this will have to do 🍭🧁
Tumblr media
( image source ; this is edited! )
same disclaimer applies, this is speculation only and no one is convincing anyone of anything. take what makes sense to you.
today, we started the day early with lovely photos of our xiao laoshi and the zwilling live broadcast we all waited for. tho I wish he was allowed to cook more but i guess that’s how those “demos” with celebrities go. there were really some sweet clues in that show so let me share them with you. ☺️ + other things.
1. My favorite bit in the broadcast was this part because you can see how XZ really believes in what he says like he has personal experience with it. Before this exchange, he was talking about how he would cook for this family/relatives. The convo goes :
Host : When we cook together, who washes the dishes at the end?
XZ: People who cook don't wash dishes.
Tumblr media
Well you can interpret this in a non-cpn way and say that it’s a common courtesy for people to do if someone cooked for them — wash the dishes. or maybe this something he experienced when his mom cooked for him or whatever. But well, we are clowns here so our mind goes to division of labor in the YIZHAN HOUSEHOLD. GG cooks and Yibo is the one who washes the dishes and cleans in general. You have XZ who is a good cook and takes photos of his CNY food spread that he made / helped prep and you have Bobo who is very good at washing dishes. What a perfect combo! 😂😂😂
This conversation is interesting because if you live alone, cook and don't want to wash the dishes. You'd say : I use the dishwasher. But he said that people who cook don't wash dishes. So. Wait. Is he saying he is not alone or something? When he cooks there is always someone who will wash the dishes when he’s done? 🤔 it’s another angle in analyzing his answer because how he said that “fact” of not taking care of the dishes seems like a common occurrence. not a special occasion of people coming over to his place.
Also if someone comes over to your house as a “guest” i doubt you would make them wash the dishes. This whole i won’t do it attitude is when he is with someone close to him like someone he considers as family. Aside for what he said, it’s how he says it and even laughs fondly like he is remembering a good memory. 🤍

Tho Bobo in the past have left dishes in the sink ( UNIQ days ) and said in interviews that he would neither cook nor wash dishes — those are all before 2020. The year and timeline we CPN they spent time together during lockdown. Maybe they developed this dynamic at that time. To be fair too, Bobo has his own simple dishes that he can cook.
I also see people making fun of how he used a water gun to clean the plate in TTXS camping episode. Saying he is a kid who is playing. Actually this is wrong, it shows how he knows how to wash it. Tho he was laughing while he was doing it. He used the gun as a “faucet” because it’s better to rinse/clean if there is water pressure. I won’t be able to confirm this piece of info since i don’t have yibo on speed dial but it shows how fans view him differently. Some continue to see him as a kid who can’t do anything and some who pay attention can see all the little self improvement he makes. This example may seem like i’m reaching but there are so much more that he does and people just dismiss it because they have the image of forever bachelor yibo in their heads.

2. In the live, you can see GG eating and then coughing because of how spicy the food was. We know that his spice tolerance is not as it used to be considering he is someone from Chongqing, so the whole idea of : A person from Chongqing eats slightly spicy food, and a person from Henan is more and more able to eat spicy food is coming up among BXGs again. It’s one of those things that you do when you are close with someone. I have to say, not even in a romantic way. You can adapt habits and preference of people you are close with / spent time with. This is one of those.
3. Food mentioned that XZ enjoys : beef, yellow throat and hairy belly. as well as crispy meat. You may say these are usual favorites but why the hell is Bobo adapting the same preferences 😂 all through out the time they knew e/o, if you really paid attention to what they say, you can see these similarities.

4. I saw this unofficial bts and i’m in love with it. This fandom always has something to offer, just when you thought you know every piece of it— something else comes along. Lol. The exchange goes like this :
🦁️"His back looks like you" ( the WWX double )
🐰"Ah? Like me?"
🐰"Then..."
🦁️"Then what" (seems to guess what GG is going to say)
🐰"Choose him” *sighs*
🦁️"Shenjingbing, Shenjingbing" ( this is slang for “mad person” that’s the best way i can describe it. So in this context, yibo is saying to GG, are you mad? are you crazy? How can you tell me to choose him? )
🦁️"It must be you"
Well this is the nail in the coffin. It must be you. Whether you believe Yibo read the novel or not this hits too close to him. WangXian’s love confession.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There are a couple of things I’m picking up with this exchange:
• Bobo is reassuring GG in his own way that who he wants is him. Not someone who like WWX or the character of WWX.
• GG is really a devious little fox for saying things like that. I mean who says that to their bro? I mean, if someone tells you that— a usual reaction would be “oh really? that’s nice” and then probably say how the crew is doing so well with the costumes. but to act all jealous and imply that your co star can just choose that person instead of you. Excuse me? HAHAHAHAHA! and our Dear Bobo knew it. He knows where the conversation is going like similar things happened a couple of times. and in true smooth yibo fashion, he knew the right thing to say.
• This is one of my favorite 2018 dynamic between them because it shows how different GG is with Bobo. He is usually the reserved GG who is polite and professional. But with Yibo, he can act like this. 🤍
5. YBO just released some SDC photos and well, no matter how many fancy and sponsored jewelry he wears — we will always see the bone necklace. 🦴

I read one ask sent to @rainbowsky and I hope the Anon is just playing devil’s advocate or is a troll. If you are a troll, please stop. RBS already has so much Asks to answer and it will be better if it was spent answering Q’s of well meaning fans. It’s hard to distinguish that in Anon asks.
So let me talk more about it and why asks like that just show how people don’t have a grasp of this piece of fandom candy. Looking at the importance of it by just THIS ONE NECKLACE alone is like trying to make sense of a book trilogy’s plot by just reading the 3rd book. Trying to make sense of what’s the fuss when you only look at the last book and dismiss the history. I’ve already explained it here and i hope it clears up some questions on why turtles are so fixated with it. Anon was linking it to Bobo saying Chen Yu is a puppy. Now where would he get the idea? This boy who always viewed himself as a Lion? Well, could it be someone who called him puppy back in 2018?
My take on this is that when GG called him that and probably continued to do so, Bobo accepted that he has a side of himself that is a puppy. I think the people who loves us see a side of ourselves that we don’t or refuse to. Yibo had the whole Lion brand going on and GG did give him a Lion Gucci necklace to appease that but as time went on, I feel like Yibo warmed up to the idea of being a puppy. But only for his GG that’s why he keeps it close to his heart.
He can be a lion or a panther or a pig and it depends on what’s going on — it’s all yibo. He has different sides to him and I feel soft that it took GG saying that for him to see it. That it’s not a bad thing to have a softer side of you. That he can be a loyal and excitable puppy. How he saw that in the character of Chen Yu, in a drama set that was heavily CPN’d GG visited is not a coincidence. I think it wasn’t Yibo alone who say Chen Yu’s “puppy” potential but GG as well. 🤍

Title: Chinese Economic Woes Could Impact Bitcoin (BTC) Amid Yuan Depreciation
Bitcoin Faces Potential Impact as Chinese Economic Woes Lead to Yuan Depreciation
Market Insights:
Experts from CoinDesk have highlighted the potential repercussions of China's economic situation on the value of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC). Market researchers observe that China is experiencing the devaluation of its national currency due to the threat of a deflationary downturn. Real Estate Market Challenges: Financial analysts emphasize that issues in the real estate market are compelling many foreign investors to withdraw capital from China. Observers believe that recent measures taken by Beijing to address these challenges may carry risks of a Bitcoin (BTC) price decline "through the currency channel." Currency Devaluation Statistics: According to CoinDesk data, the Chinese Yuan (CNY) depreciated by 1.4% against the US Dollar within a day. Simultaneously, the offshore Hong Kong version, CNH, dropped by 1.25%. TradingView's data reveals that China's benchmark stock index, Shanghai Composite, plummeted by 2.6% to its lowest level since March 2020, standing at 75.94. Government Bank Actions: On January 22, 2024, as reported by Reuters, Chinese state banks sold US Dollars (USD), concurrently reducing liquidity in the offshore foreign exchange market to support the Yuan (CNY). Financial analysts explained that the "one-week CNH offshore bid rate—indicating liquidity conditions—rose to 4.95%. This is the highest level since September 26, 2023." Potential Impacts on Global Finance: Financial industry analysts speculate that such measures could strengthen the US Dollar (USD), tighten global financial conditions, and reduce investments in risky assets. Consequently, this current scenario may adversely affect Bitcoin (BTC), causing a significant decline in the value of the digital currency and other altcoins, as well as the stocks of technology companies. BTC and USD Correlation: It is well-known that BTC exhibits an inverse correlation with the US Dollar. The 50% increase in the cryptocurrency's value in the fourth quarter of 2023 is attributed to optimism regarding the approval of spot ETFs. However, this coincided with a 4.5% decline in the US Dollar Index (DXY). As the situation unfolds, the crypto market watches closely for potential impacts resulting from China's economic challenges. My Gerber Shard seems to be lost in the mail. Not sure if it will deliver today. My Dad’s 2 sisters are coming for a visit this morning. Meanwhile western forces and their witchy Liew mentors terrorize the mindspaces. It appears none will back down from evildoing. None will confess Jesus before others or their own hearts after being shamed by the Asian terrors. We urge them to consider making a stand for God, even knowing the apostasy of many is close at hand.
Wearing my favorite MudMan solar today. From its moonphase display we are 2/3 way to the full moon. I’m not sure why I need moonphase in a watch but the Lord told me to get it along with a bunch of other stuff like a helmet, fat looking wallet, telescope, and a football (soccer). He told me: ‘be prepared’, 2020-2028.
In 2 days I get fresh funds in. Will save the $100 and spend my CNY angpow money from February over March. I may get $60 if I’m lucky.

My Shard one-piece keyring multitool arrived. Have to be creative with it unlike a regular multitool. They say Shards are allowed on flights, and not Swiss Army Knives. Is that still true? And my aunt from Kedah gave me $20. I miss my Leatherman Squirt ps2 but it’s now too expensive to replace with anything of similar grade, thus the above! If anyone has used a Shard instead of a pair of pliers, please tell me how…
Last night we talked in mindspace about Daniel 9 versus the sixth seal of Revelations. It was refreshing to see that the final week of Jeremiah - the last 49 years had begun and we are at most 10 years till Rapture. Maybe even 4 if the days be shortened. There is no temple to be built requirement for the 6th seal to come broken. But it should be built before the end of 2044 by which time, we who believe are long since taken up.
