Okay so here's an idea for you;

Conia and Kailor double dates, but it's mostly just Skylor and Kai catching up Cole and Vania on all the 'hot tea' and 'the drama.'

Both Cole and Vania are kind of confused as heck mainly because they don't know 80% of the names Kai and Skylor are talking about.

AND sometimes, they silent communicate/talk while Kailor's explain the deets, like they're secretly texting or they giving each other looks

But yeah, Conia and Kailor double dates!!!!!!

Oh my gosh. I can totally see Skylor and Kai gossiping about all kinds of stuff. You know Skylor has all types coming through that noodle house's doors. She probably hears about all kinds of stuff. Then talks about with Kai. Lol.

And yeah, I could definitely see Cole and Vania being super confused.🤣

Zane x Pixal: they are soulmates and no one can say otherwise.

Kai x Skylor: the two of them balance each other well, plus seeing Kai get all lovey-dovey around Skylor is just cute.

Lloyd x Akita: Akita likes Lloyd for himself and isn’t interested in his status as the Green Ninja, she just might be the one person he could be with without having to worry about keeping up appearances.

Cole x Vania: they’re just great together (as lovers or as friends), their dynamic is sweet and both admire and encourage each other with just simple honest words.

Fun fact, I used to hate Jaya. I thought it was really forced in the canon, and Jay's really obsessive behavior that is the catalyst for all of the events in Skybound always really bothered me? But tumblr has completely turned me around on this ship. They have their moments in canon, but in fanon they're really wonderful. thanks tumblr <3

these two...... 🥺they are really good i will admit. I'm a big fan of glaciershipping myself and I tend to prefer it over pixane, but these two are so lovely to each other and i totally see the appeal. I just wish pixal wasn't so sidelined in the canon fr what were they doing with her character??? let her be around more often let her and zane be sweet together. please smh

SKYLOR ALSO HAS NOTHING TO DO MOST OF THE TIME-- honestly this show sidelines like all of its female characters so hard. but these two are great toooo theyre sweeeet 😊 i just wish skylor was used for more than cameos. i like that she's the only one that can consistently shake kai's ego it's a great dynamic

lloyd and akita!! i'm gonna be so real with you guys i forget about akita so often ;v; which is a shame... i give her the award for most sidelined female character because she existed for half a season. but she and lloyd are sweet! I don't tend to ship lloyd with anyone personally, but i do love that they meet under the circumstances of "lloyd is in a world where his name and status mean nothing so he has no pressure to perform". it's a fantastic break for him. holy shit he deserves it

im gonna be so honest with all of you um. i actually. havent seen MotM yet. i was in the middle of my rewatch, and i got up to the point i stopped, right before MotM, and then Netflix changed their watch policies. and then of course i got busy

but from what i've seen of these two in fanon they seem alright! I usually prefer them in other wlw or mlm ships because of ONE ninjago vine compliation thing i saw with the two of them as this one tiktok and i've never been able to think of them as a couple since then. But they seem like they have a lovely friendship, whether that ends up turning to romance or not!

This isnt a headcannon post, but I actually wanted to give my view on something. And PLEASE do not hate me for this 😭

....

COLE X VANIA IS NOT A BAD SHIP.

Okay, sure its not the best. But it's also not the worst..

*coughcough Greenflame coughcough* (JUST MY OPINION!! I see them as brothers.)

Now, let me explain.

So, it's kinda obvious that the creators felt bad that Cole hadn't gotten a love interest and decided to throw in Vania somehow idek but ANYWAYS

To put it simply, yall hate on her bc she "ruins" your headcannons??? Some of you ship Lava, or Bruise, or you hc him as aroace, but you also forget Vania is quite obviously not his love interest. Sure, most fans would think that she is, because she takes an interest in Cole, and they work together to stop Vangelis, and he hugs her in S16, and all of that, but that doesn't mean its fact.

(He literally said at the begining of motm that he "doesn't even like her like that" to Lloyd.)

I personally don't feel like Cole wouldn't want to date/be with someone right now, though I don't hc him as aroace.

I feel like Conia could've worked if they just gave them more time. I mean I think the ship is adorable, but they weren't given enough screen time together and they didn't give the two enough time to build an actual relationship.

Like Jay and Nya, for example, they had to go through ALOT just to end up together in Skybound.

I'm not saying they should've introduced Vania earlier, but I just feel like if their friendship had more effort put into it, Cole and Vania could've at least become close friends at most. If I'm being honest, if Conia was canon, I acc wouldn't mind it.

AND TELL ME WHY A COUPLE MONTHS AGO I SAW THIS TWITTER ACCOUNT BASHING SOMEONE FOR BEING HAPPY OVER THE FACT THAT COLE HUGGED VANIA IN CRYSTALIZED??

It's not that deep 😭

I thought the hug was cute tbh, and NO I personally don't think it's the best ship, but it's amazing in it's own weird way. So stop hating on it. Pls. And thank you 🥰

(If they aren't together, they're at least definitely besties. Sorry not sorry.)

I genuinely can't wrap my head around why people hate Vania

I have come across a few people who dislike/hate Vania and I kind of see where they're coming from, don't get me wrong. Some people may find her personality annoying to no end, or they may dislike Cole/Vania as a pairing(valid as hell, ship what you ship but hating a whole character over it???). I am an avid Vania stan so here is some self indulgent Vania appreciation.

NOTE: These are all my opinions and personal preferences so don,'t get too butthurt. I'd love to hear you guys's own opinions on her, just please be respectful :)

Reasons I like Vania:

We have the same personality traits: happy go lucky, warm and optimistic. She's strong-willed, enjoys books and is a fangirl! I can resonate a lot with her character and I really love seeing her onscreen.

She's not afraid to help other people, no matter what!!!

There is no established relationship between her and Cole, so there are lots of possibilities!

Evil dad, bubbly daughter. Slay.

She has a pet dragon. That's just cool as fuck.

Her character design is so yummy i wanna hhhhhhhhh- I mean just LOOK at her

Anyways-

There are many more reasons as to why Vania is best girl, I just don't wanna ramble too much.

Now here are some reasons people dislike Vania(and my debunking of said reasons):

I'm gonna kick this off by saying you do not have to agree with me on any of this. Opinions are opinions and I respect that. In fact I love hearing other people's opinions! However, most of the negative comments I have seen about her are rude, petty or just downright bewildering. You can hate a character without being disrespectful.

Her character is ugly- first of all, r u d e. Like I understand aesthetic preferences but she was designed that way. Not liking aesthetic/appearances and hating on a character don't align all too well.

Shipping- golly gosh goodness... the amount of people who hate Vania because she's an implied love interest to Cole is astonishing. I completely understand with headcannoning Cole as gay/mlm. I'm a multushipper so I agree with that headcannon to an extent(My headcannon is that Cole is pan). I mean, that one scene in the royal blacksmiths is definitely mirroring a 'coming out' story. However, hating on a single character because she 'ruins' your ship or headcannon is just??? Confusing????? And OC shippers aren't safe either.

Vania is young- Again with shipping, Vania is introduced as a 'young' princess who is celebrating her birthday, and young can mean anything from 17-23. I personally see Vania as 19, going on 20: young but coming out of her teen years. I have seen people who are so butthurt that Cole is shipped with a 'minor', so, coming the reasons why she's disliked for that kind of debunks the whole 'Cole's love interest' thing. If she were an intended love interest(she isn't) for Cole, then why would they ship a guesstimated 19/20 year old with a 17 year old girl?

I had an experience with a content creator who imma call C(iykyk) who has a Cole/OC ship. Cool, slay, even. I have a Cole/OC ship as well, more love for the big guy! And we were talking about Vania and C just...spewed disgust for her. Hating her personality, the fact that she's young, all the reason's above. It confused me and even made me mad. I told C I thought ColexVania was kind of cute. And C, flat out, without hesitation, replied 'Ew'.

My jaw fucking dropped because it was the pettiness for me💀. I'm not speaking to C anymore for very different reasons(iykyk) but that was my worst ever experiemce with Vania hate, and hell, It pushed me to be the avid Vania lover I am today!

That went on for a while, whoops. But to make a long story short, I love Vania to no end. If you do dislike Vania, please tell me why because I like talking about this stuff, just again be respectful and civil. Don't be C.
