this is dean and florence <3 dean is like am era alex if he was half chinese and had a fifteen-year long unrequited crush (so pretty much the am album) and florence is the transfem nb midkey sleazy landbastard of the house the main cast of this story stays in. she lives there too bc her situationship girlfriend lives there and she kinda fuck it we ball'd into deciding to move in IDK sometimes u try to beat the commitment issues and they beat ur ass instead. i should note that dean is crushing on his childhood best friend's much older brother. and his best friend is florence's gf. LEAST ENTANGLED SITCOM CAST IN EXISTENCE
this is literally just two out the fuckin. Nine people staying in the house no dont ask me where they got a nine-bedroom house in this economy ok just suspend your disbelief for that
@cluedoenthusiast and i have been so unwell about these ocs (there are actually more btw the cast of characters does not end at the nine housemates) for the past like idk month and a half i could and have spent hours talking abt the lore

the tranquility base hotel is meant to be an escapist fantasy on the lunar surface. the moon essentially represents a space where the disillusionments and complications of life on earth doesn't exist. alex's mistakes and regrets and heartbreak doesn't exist here it's just all luxury and decadence. the moon is where life is easy, no mess no pain. it's like a post tech neverland. then in the car alex says 'can we please be absolutely sure that's there's a mirrorball for me?' so the mirrorball is the metaphor for hope. he wonders if there is an ending to the story where things turn out well for him. and you know what is a giant mirrorball? the moon. so 🌕🟰🪩 then in one man band miles writes 'i stare up at the moon and my lonely heart goes boom boom boom' so the moon to him represents things he's lost and things he wants back. oh and there was that line in aviation 'the colourama in your eyes takes me on a moonlight drive'. do you catch my drift

Everything that you've come to expect for the ask 😊
favourite lyric: like, the entirety of eycte but especially "dirtbag ballet by the bins down the alley as i walk through the chalet of the shadow of death" (idk it just scratches something in my brain, it's so good)
also alex's verse in used to be my girl + "and it feels like your entrance just caused the temperature to rise" + "the colourama in your eyes, it takes me on a moonlight drive" (a classic 👌💯)
favourite song: ahhhh i love them all so much but if i have to choose one it's eycte (+ bonus: pattern my beloved)
song that makes you cry: the bourne identity (but also eycte, i can't help it that song has got it all 😫)
the song that's a fucking bop: miracle aligner and sweet dreams tn!!!
the song i most dislike/least love: bad habits (the fact that my least favourite song is still AMAZING really tells you a lot about this album)
thank you! 🥰

I was listening to TLSP's album "Everything That You've Come To Expect" the other day and when this lyric in Aviation came up I knew I had to make a Jaebeom moodboard :")
It's an amazing album guys, you should check it out! It will forever be one of my all time favourites!

PCA Photography Studio Workshop with Margo Ryszczuk on February 14th 19
On the 14th of February 2019 I ran a photography workshop with Margo Ryszczuk of PCA. My main responsibilities consisted of:
Setting up a studio e.g. colourama, lighting setup,
Greeting the students and their teachers,
Helping those who needed to use the lift do so,
Talking with the students and helping them feel comfortable e.g. we asked them what music they liked and played it in the background,
Helping the students take pictures of each other e.g holding the camera for them, showing them how to use it, helping them pose their peers, helping them choose props for each other,
Health and safety, e.g. watching out for loose light cables.
After the workshop had finished. Margo accidentally formatted the SD card before properly importing it all onto her computer. I told her that I’d done the same thing before and I was pretty sure I could recover them, but that I’d have to do it at home. I took the card to the IT helpdesk in PCA first to see if they could recover it on the spot. Unfortunately, they told me that all the data was lost and there was nothing that could be done. I took the SD card home still pretty confident I could resolve the situation. Luckily, I managed to recover 100% of the images within about half an hour and put them all on a drive for Margo to get.
Overall I think the students had a lot of fun taking pictures of each other, it was very rewarding to see. It was also very rewarding to have been able to recover all the photos. I really enjoy running workshops like this and have a few more planned for the near future, one of them being on the 30th of May.
