image description: scene comparison between “Abandon All Hope...” when Sam and Dean meet Crowley and “Road Trip” when Crowley breaks Sam out of the Gadreel’s mindscape.
5x01: Sam, holding the Colt Crowley just gave him, turns to Dean and then looks back at Crowley. He casually says, “Great. Thanks.” Then he moves to shoot Crowley in the head, point blank, but the gun is out of ammunition and doesn’t go off. Crowley doesn’t blink with the gun to his head, and just stares at Sam. Sam swallows in surprise and Dean raises his eyebrows, watching as Sam slowly lowers the gun. Crowley tells him, as if absentmindedly, “Oh, yeah, right. You probably need some more ammunition.” He holds a finger up to them as he moves to grab the bullets from his desk. Dean swivels to look at Sam, who seems frozen.
9x10: In a facsimile of the bunker library, Sam turns around, confused, as Crowley tells him, “I’ll make this quick: you’ve been possessed by an angel. He’s got you locked away in some dusty corner of your mind, and I’m here to break you out.” He make sweeping motions with his hands as he explains this, as if to hurry Sam along. Sam glances around a little then asks, as if Crowley is messing with him, “Seriously?” Crowley says, almost put out, “Fine. We’ll do this the fun way.” He grabs Sam’s gun from the table and shoots Sam in the chest. Sam flinches with surprise, but touches the hole in his shirt and realizes he is unharmed. Crowley puts the gun down and says, “See? Not real, like I said.” Sam looks back up at him.

in Crowley’s monster prison:
Crowley is on his hands and knees, beneath a devil’s trap. He says, “I can’t.” Sam stares down at him and asks, “Can’t or won’t?” to which he answers, “I said ‘can’t.’ I meant ‘can’t,’ you mop-headed lumberjack.”
Kneeling, Crowley says, “Sam. Why do you want the thing back?” Sam looks slightly confused. Crowley rolls his eyes and says, “Satan’s got one juicy source of entertainment in there.” Meg and Sam look on, considering.
Crowley tells Sam, “I’d swallow a rag off a bathhouse floor before I took that soul. Unless you want to be a drooling mess.” Meg looks over slightly to Sam and says,” Sam, I hate to say it, but he’s right.” Sam doesn’t look at them when he responds, “Yeah, right. I get it. Thanks.”
outside the prison, near the impala:
Dean tells Sam, “We’ll figure something else out.” Sam considers this before responding, “No, we won’t.” Dean is surprised and asks, “Why, because Crowley said–” Sam interrupts him to say, “You heard what Crowley said. And I heard what Cas said.”
Sam looks at Dean and tells him, “You know what, when angels and demons agree on something? Call me nuts, I pay attention.”
Sam tells Dean, “I don’t think I want it back.” before he starts to way away from the car. Dean watches him and responds, “You don’t even know what you’re saying.” Sam turns back to him before firmly answering, “No, I’m saying something you don’t like.”
I'm doing Christmas presents with family tomorrow while I'm in town and I have like no progress made on the drawing I'm doing for my mom's girlfriend
But like in the past 24 hours I have cried multiple times a few even in front of my mom about how her girlfriend is making me feel
I really don't want to work on it but I don't have anything for her for Christmas and I know she probably spent decent money on me and my sibling got her a really good gift
