Late Happy Birthday to Dawn of the Dimetrix, an album that I will cherish to my grave for being one of my all time favourite pieces ever made. This art is actually something I wanted to make ages ago which is a "What if" idea. Basically, a cover for an IRIS manga cause that would slap hard. Super fun (albeit tedious) piece to work on and super glad I can do Goliath this justice that I couldn't few years ago. Love this dude so much <3 Congrats on Will for the huge success of this album and here's to another multitude of years of not only IRIS but DA in general!

Templar Emperors (Vegala 1) Humans have long since lived to grow and adapt as they survive the trenches of existential dread and woe. These wonderers believe in a religious overseer, but deluded themselves into thinking they had to create their overseer who was never going to come for them. Centuries pass as the land destroys its organic resource and turns to an era of artificial technology, borrowing from the minds of regular civilians and crafting what they believe is wizardry and playing with forces unbeknownst to them, but are in fact just mirrors of their own shells.

Crimson Colony (Vegala 2) Rising heat waves permeate from Vegala 1 and 3 as it creates fire and onyx. Gargoyles and orcs of magma and onyx come together born from the acidic fire that brims through their system. A system dividing these species moves their plates from one side of their system to another, like individual tectonic plates in their own orbit. Their 6 layers of hell act as the measure of depth one must remain in to survive in their atmosphere. Often times planets cross from one to another, which can often result in civil discourse. But from the flames becomes a forged arsenal of heavy weaponry each borrow as they grow stronger.

Phyliphasees (Vegala 3) Caught in between the fires of Vegala 2, and the parasitic gases erupting from Vegala 4, Angels of shining orbs were born. They were but mere glowing entities scattering through the cosmos of their own system. Their lives had moved far beyond the concept of survival, and had discovered the strength of being a light that keeps away the darkness. Many of these angels are cast away if they bring nothing to their planetary structure and are seen as lesser by their overseers. They would lurk across the planes of nothingness in search for a home, to which they would find it in a race of titan mechs.

Bozchlyth Gnial (Vegala 4) Millenia's pass through Vegala, and with rising pollution crossed between Vegala 5 & 3, gluttony and vile bacteria's evolved into freakishly barbaric Xenos races. They are a disease that prey on spreading across planes of land, consuming mass entities to transform and evolve throughout years, eventually being able to spread their wings unto territories unaware of their emerging swarms.

Trojan Magnus (Vegala 5) An age of mechanic tyranny bestows the regions of Vegala 5. Trojan Magnus. A war of machines came with a perilous fight for biomass, all in which to create super titans capable of fortifying their worlds and keeping danger away. These monsters are lesioned by dark angels that create forgery and harmony between steel and muscle, crafting the faces of blood and debauchery on a titans chest. A Trojan titan's bionic carnage knows no bounds when combined with super human organisms. They had faced Xenos armies before, and with their remains would become this forging.

Velvetta (Vegala 6) In the far away barons of Vegala Infinity remains a race of majestic elvan royalty bent on concealing archives of recourse to be sent back to Vegala Infinity. This empire was not about war, they were about protecting knowledge and bringing it back to their rulers caught in the middle of the Vegala bubble. Time after time, several of the various systems floating in space catch their eyes on this resource and instead come to lust for this knowledge and prey on its seed. Several times the Velvettans frail masses would succumb to invasion, and must spend the rest of their lives being defenders of resource.

Holy hell,I think I cooked with this one. I originally had,like,2 ideas that I wanted to do for Valour Day/Heart of an Artist's 5th Anniversary,but didn't have the motivation (or time) to do them. Oh well. Eventually I will draw them. Then on the 23rd I had this idea that I thought would be interesting to put into practice. Obviously,it couldn't be finished/released on the 24th,but hey,it's not like it's a big deal at this point. I think this drawing can be considered both as a belated celebration of Valour Day,and a hype drawing for Operation Baltorne (which is what most inspired the creation of this piece (and for real,this piece is more hype drawing than a belated celebration,tbh)). By the way,HEY,Operation Baltorne,right? It's happening tomorrow (I'm posting this on May 27th) and I'm very excited for it. 1 hour live concert where several DAGames/IRIS songs will be sung + IRIS Lore dumps? That's what I call a good combination. Sunday is going to be good,finally. As a sidenote: I think this is the first time I 1- draw Abrahm's hair on-model (because the few times I draw him I end up changing his hair a little to make things easier) and 2- I draw his hair on model AND with ease. what happened Also,yeah,this might be the best attempt at drawing Abrahm I've done so far,ngl. (The Dimetrix's anniversary drawing comes in second)

And as a bonus: Alternative version! I wanted to include DovahCom in the image somehow. Happy to say I found a way.

The simple descriptor "Worst Blorbofication" feels like I'm about to hand out an award. Anyway this is super niche but I'm gonna go with Abrahm Valentin from the IRIS album saga

This guy is the fucking worst. He's the dictator of an entire technocratic planet because he inherited control of a mega-corporation from his father and proceeded to go completely off the deep end - mass citizen mind control, waves of robotic death machines to deal with resistance, you name it. I think the single most evil thing he does is murdering his own brother, having him dissected down to just his brain and nervous system, and then using him as a living component for his infrastructure by having the entirety of the internet constantly passed through his mind - a process that explicitly causes him such unbearable emotional and physical agony that he would consider death a mercy.

Abrahm does have the excuse of his father being abusive for a giant chunk of his life, and the current point in the storyline has him finally being called out for his horrific actions by his only friend and showing genuine desire to repent after his reality check - that's why I don't hate the character. He's a fantastic villain! He's equal parts horrifying, funny, and tragic as the situation calls for it. But Abrahm was designed from the ground up to show how people who fit all the expectations of our society for good people (handsome, ambitious, intelligent, etc.) can be the most soulless, absolutely evil monsters we can imagine, hiding in plain sight. So, naturally, 90% of IRIS fan content is him being a Twitter/Tumblr sexyman. Not even people woobifying him, just full-on finding him hot in his current state. It drives me insane.

I've been wanting to post this here for a long time,but I keep forgetting,so I never released it. But since today is Will Ryan's (DAGames) birthday, I thought it would be a good opportunity to finally post this on this site (because I already posted this elsewhere in December)

IRIS is a project by Will that has always interested me,both the musical side and the stories, and following it all since 2018 when I discovered the channel has definitely been a journey to watch. It's a project I love, and I wanted to congratulate Will for everything he's done so far,and may his work continue to grow even more in the future.

I made this drawing as a way to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of IRIS' third album,Dawn of the Dimetrix. I really liked this one,so of course I wanted to do something special for it’s anniversary.

I couldn't finish it for the anniversary (August 21st) >). Things happened, and in the end,I only finished this drawing in November,and then I posted it in December. Better late than never :-) But at least,the final result turned out great,one of my favorites of 2022,so the delay was worth it.

Nothing else to say other than wishing a happy birthday and a great day to Will Ryan. The guy is a great artist whose works have inspired me a lot in the past,and I'm really looking foward for what he has planned for the future,DAGames related or otherwise.
