I saw your DD graph asking for other ideas, so... if you still have any desire to do further Dracula graphs I'd be curious to see how the word count per character breaks down (not how much they speak but how much they write. Adding all their diary entries together, etc.). Obviously Mina wins by default from having typed up the whole novel but outside of that detail, how much did each person author?

Thank you so much for this ask! What an interesting data set this one is! Lots of unexpected information.

So first off, if you just want to visualize the author breakdown, ta-dahhhh!

Seward was staunchly in the lead, talking his head off and burning through those wax recording drums like no ones business. Poor Mina for having to transcribe it all. In total his words made up 39.3% of Dracula. Nearly 40%!

Seward unsurprisingly had the most individual entries overall at 47, and had the longest streak for being the narrator in an entry at 10 days (09/02 - 09/11) with Mina following right behind at 9 days (08/10 - 08/19)

Mina surprisingly was 3rd overall both in word count and number of entries. She wasn't even in the top 3 for most words in a day which is as follows.

1 - Seward October 3rd - 9942 words

2 - Seward September 29th - 7206 words

3 - Jonathan October 3rd - 5944 words

Van Helsing only had 9 entries total but still came in number 4 for word count, in front of Lucy. It's interesting to note that the amount a person writes doesn't correlate to the amount of time they are being written about/appear. Which is why Arthur and Quincey don't even beat out the newspaper clippings for words, lol.

There are lots of authors we only hear from a single time, like Sister Agatha. So I've decided to make a small fry pie as well. (Authors under ~500 words)

The captain of the Demeter and Van Helsing both had more days written than Lucy! Though I didn't break up number of entries, like when the log of the Demeter had 3 or 4 on one day or Lucy wrote a letter and in her diary.

So &Team is formed of 4 members that were on I-Land, and 5 members chosen through &Audition. Taki, Nicholas, Euijoo, and K were all on I-Land. Nicholas and Euijoo are apart of 02 line with Jay, Jake, and Sunghoon. Fuma, Yuma, Jo, Harua, and Maki were chosen through &Audition to complete the group.

K is the oldest, October 21, 1997.

Fuma is second oldest and sub-leader, June 29, 1998.

Nicholas is third older, July, 9, 2002. He's the only Taiwanese in a Japanese group.

Euijoo is fourth oldest and leader, his stage name is EJ, September 7, 2002. He's the only Korean in a Japanese group.

Yuma is the middle child, February 7, 2004.

Jo fourth youngest, July 8, 2004.

Haura is third youngest, May 1, 2005.

Taki is second youngest, May 4, 2005.

Maki is the maknae, February 17, 2006.

I would recommend watching Under The Skin, the extended music video actually connects &Team's lore to Enhypens lore, since they are like brother groups, Under The Skin is connected to Drunk-Dazed, since Euijoo and K are the wolves in Drunk-Dazed. And I recommend watching Scent of You just because that's my favorite song of theirs.

For all those who have written me asking what BXG day is, it's essentially 'turtle birthday', and it's celebrated every year on September 5th. It is chosen for a couple of reasons:

It falls perfectly between DD's birthday on 8/5 and GG's birthday on 10/5.

GG and DD are believed to be 95% compatible, so 95 is a very significant number to turtles.

8: tell us which parts you most/least like about your drawing process

I'd say the best part of drawing in general for me is sketching expressions, but if I had to specify, it would be paws and eyes for Kirby characters/ocs and hands and physiques for Humans. Outlining the sketch is also fun, but the former is generally the best part of drawing for me.

Now, for the parts I do dislike, I'd say it's shading. It's just so messy and you have to clean it up and make sure shade only creeps over specific body angles and ARGH, I CAN'T!! <(T//Ť )>

Another thing I hate is frontal views of human characters. Symmetry is my worst enemy.

I'm aware of the existence of the mirror/symmetry tool, but I'd rather not use it at all, as I consider it to be non-educational at the end of the day due to it essentially making my work easier. If I wanted symmetry, I'll need to train my hands and accomplish it by pure skill.

Unfortunately, I cannot answer number 9 at the moment due to my tablet turning into a ticking time bomb, aswell as the fact that the only paper sketches I have of a now finished work are of a personal oc of mine. :')

I should be able to have it repaired in September, before school starts again for me, but for now I'll have to arrange myself to my crappy side sketchbook. Sorry for the inconvenience. <\3

The spin-off premiers September 9. Emily's new album comes out September 22. One day before the premier of episode 3. Doesn't that seem coordinated to you? My hope is that at least the audience will see Beth in episode 1, but that Beth and Daryl won't meet again until episode 3.

Yeah, it definitely feels coordinated.

The other thing is, Daryl Dixon is airing earlier than we predicted. It will be in September, rather than October.

Now, obviously I'm not complaining, but the back half of Fear will air right after the first season of DD. It just feels like they've done that on purpose because there will be something in Fear that we can't see until after we've seen the first season of the Daryl spinoff.

It all feels very coordinated. No way to know for sure, of course, but I'm with ya, Nonny. Fingers crossed! 🤞 Xoxo! 🎆💞

Last year (until my first tumblog vanished for a time), Dracula Daily inspired me to do something I’d considered before: Lord of the Rings Daily, following the events of the War of the Rings by calendar date from September 23 TA 3018 till the destruction of the Ring March 25 TA 3019. This will be following Appendix B so, like DD, not all days will have entries. And there’s a twist: it’s being done in my triangle figure cartoons instead of in book excerpts, and mashed up with the fandom crossover multiverse featured in my fancomic The Hero of Three Faces. There will be unique elements of both the novels and the movies.

March 9: Darkness begins to flow out of Mordor.

I actually drew this before I drew the previous day's, before I decided what Aragorn's undead troops were going to look like.

Steht ein D vor der Zahl, handelt es sich bei dem Wagen um ein Drehgestellfahrzeug. Bei einem Drehgestell sind die Radsätze nicht direkt am Wagenkasten gelagert sondern an einem drehbaren Rahmen. Dadurch kann das Fahrzeug engere Kurven fahren. Radsätze könne außerdem näher beieinander angebracht werden, sodass man mehr Radsätze hat und somit besseren Antrieb. Auch der Fahrkomfort wird erhöht, da Stöße von der Schiene weniger auf den Wagenkasten übertragen werden.

DD bedeutet, dass es sich hierbei um den Typ Dresden handelt.

ER sind Einrichtungswagen und ZR Zweirichtungswagen.

Spurweite: 1450 mm -> Diese Spurweite ist einzigartig (15 mm breiter als Normalspur)

Stromsystem: 600 V Gleichstrom
