Message of Raccoon : I just really wanted to write Azrael with Penguin!Reader, so I try.

How you met Azrael is a mystery for everyone.

Azrael had heard about Heaven and Hell fighting over a penguin, and he decided to go check it out.

"So you're the famous Penguin." -Azrael, seeing you for the first time.

Friendship. Instantly.

He was your platonic soulmate.

I can see Azrael taking you flying with him. Imagine being a normal angel or demon, looking up and seeing the angel of death flying, holding a penguin in his arms.

The day of the trial, you and Azrael were watching everything from the sidelines, eating popcorn.

“Do you think they know you’re going to stay with me ?” -Azrael, watching the scene while eating popcorn, amused.

You made a penguin noise that can be translates as "Sshh, this is starting to get interesting." -Penguin!Reader, watching the scene like a TV novela.

Azrael speaks penguin. Don't ask how, he just do it.

"Guardship returns to.." Sera paused, either in disbelief or to be dramatic. “Azrael ?!” Certainly the first.

“Yo bitch.”

They looked at him as if they were seeing him for the first time- they hadn't even noticed him.

"WHAT ?! BUT HE DON'T EVEN KNOW THEM !" -Lute.

You worried for a second for Azrael's safety before remembering that he was the Angel of Death and that he was in no danger.

Lucifer looks at his brother, feeling betrayed that he is taking one of his children away from him.

Azrael walked out of the room with you in his arms, happy of the trial he saw today.

Azrael is like your cool dad who takes you everywhere with him and takes you wherever you want.

Azrael can go to Heaven, Hell or even Earth just with a snap of his fingers, say your destination and he'll take you there with no problem.

You often go to Hell and Heaven because you are attached to the people that are there.

Azrael only leaves you alone with Lucifer or Emily.

Lucifer is basically your uncle who babysits you all the time.

You have met Big G and the other archangels. I don't make the rules, as soon as Azrael won your guardship, he introduced you to the rest of the family.

You are the archangels' favorite nephew and Big G's favorite grandchild.

I just know that you and Big G spent hours on grandpa-grandchild outings. You go to the beach, get ice cream, play jokes on others... until Azrael comes to pick you up.

I headcanon that you help Gabriel in his work as a messenger.

It was you who passed the message of Sir Pentious being in Heaven to Charlie, telling her that redemption was possible.

It was your first message, Gabriel and Azrael were very proud of you after you managed to successfully transmit it.

They had a party to celebrate it.

No one can fuck with you.

Literally, you have Azrael, Big G and all the archangels on your side. Upsetting you/being on your bad side is a death sentence.

Lute and Adam are so disgusted that Azrael stole you - like you can feel their jealousy at 3000km/h.

Azrael just smiled at them before calling you “his son/daughter/child” in front of them just to piss them off.

And it works.

I can see Alastor trying to make a deal with Azrael for you to stay at the Hotel, Azrael just looks at him like "Really now ?"

Needless to say, it never worked and if it wasn't for you, he would have already killed the deer demon.

The angels find it adorable that the fearsome angel of death is walking around with a little Penguin, it's just too cute for them.

Family dinners are ✨️beautiful✨️

Beautiful in the sense that it's chaotic and it's never bored.

Usually family dinners are you, Big G, Azrael, Lucifer, Charlie, and the other archangels.

But one day you invited Emily, Sera, Adam and Lute to join you..

Let's say you weren't bored during all the dinner.

The best moments are those of hugs.

Hugs with Azrael are the best because he wraps his wings around you while carrying you. It's so quiet and peaceful that it puts you to sleep, which is very useful especially when you can't fall asleep.

Hugs with the whole family are... interesting ?

I mean, from the outside it looked like a mess of nameless feathers-

You are always in the middle of family hugs.

Azrael almost executed all the exterminators after learning about the extermination that was directed against the hotel when you were in it..

A day's never truly over -Snippet

Author's Note: I was inspired by @deadghosy's Dogday reader oneshots. Reader is gender neutral, has Dogday's appearance but no alluding to eye color, hair color, body type or height to help the reader immerse themselves into the story as much as possible. Reader is a Dominion! Angel, who overhears Charlie's conversation with Adam about the hotel. Adam panics about reader telling everyone about the exterminations so they throw you out of heaven. You aren't a fallen angel because you weren't banished to hell but you currently have no way to get back to heaven.

Word Count: 1,744

You are a dominion angel, essentially the mediator for the highest ranking angels to carry out the plans to the lower ranks. Your class of angels are considered heavenly governors, attempting to strike a balance between matter and spirit, good and bad. You receive orders from seraphim and cherubim, then dish out duties to the "worker bee" angels of the lower orders. Your main purpose is to make sure that the cosmos remains in order by sending down power to heads of government and other authority figures.

You were eavesdropping on Adam, Lute, and Charlie’s conversations but you were originally in the office to deliver some papers to Adam. You overheard the conversations and were trying to be quiet but you accidentally stumbled into the room during Adam’s song. You face planted into the floor, a small arf escaping you. The music stopped abruptly as Adam stopped playing his instrument, and all eyes turned to you as you slowly got off the floor, papers scattered and brushed yourself off. You locked eyes with Adam, a relatively sad expression on your face.

“Are-are you really supporting genocide? I-i actually think her idea could save people’s lives, why-why does anyone have to get hurt?” Your ears drooped slightly in sadness at the thought of all the lost souls. Adam and Lute look at you like you’ve caught them red handed and before you can speak again Adam begins singing about moving up the extermination to six months, and grabs you and Charlie’s arm before throwing you both out of the office.

“Wait-!” Charlie tries to move back towards the door, at least to ask for a second change but she stumbles and she holds her leg in pain. You stay in your place, where you landed, a horrified expression on your face as you take in everything that just transpired.

You slowly rise to your feet, and take small caution steps towards the door. You raise your right paw, orange fur and paw pads connecting with the door. Charlie looks up at you, partially forgetting you were beside her, but curious as to what you were doing. You summoned a small amount of your angelic power and noticed that a divine seal was placed back on the door so there was no way for you to get back in, not without the castor’s permission.

Your ears flattened again your head, as you held your head down in shame. Your shoulders shake in anger as your wings flair up and your ears pin back. You look down at Charlie with a determined look on your face, "We have to prove them all wrong."

As you and Charlie made your way to hell, you had the chance to properly introduce yourself. She talked to you and explained her plans to rehabilitate people through her hotel. Since you were an angel, and a higher ranking one at that, she believed that they'd have a much higher chance of success with you on their side.

“I had no idea they were doing this, regardless of whether or not these people ended up here because of their actions…every soul is valuable and should be cherished.” You frown, your ears drooping for umpteenth time today. “That’s what I tried to explain to Adam, if we could save even a few souls down here…shouldn’t we try?” Charlie turns to you, a sorrowful yet determined expression on face.

“No one in history has even succeeded once they’ve given up, if we can show them that your plan could save even one soul. They’d have no choice but to back you up!” You jump in the air, your wings fluttering slightly. You enjoyed helping people, that was your whole purpose and you wouldn’t make it any different being down here. You fully believed in Charlie’s cause and wanted to see it succeed in helping people more than anything.

“That’s the spirit!..Hey, I-i’m really sorry that you got kicked out of heaven, but I’m really happy you agreed to help me.” The tone between you both becomes somber, as you take the time to really understand your situation. You place a paw on Charlie’s shoulder, a happy smile on your face.

“It may not have been under the…best circumstances, but I’m happy that I have the opportunity to help you in your quest to help more people.” Charlie looks at you with teary eyes and she pats your hand which still rests on her shoulder. You both made it to the hotel, a hopeful smile on your face as you decided to try and stay positive.

The white haired woman gasped at the sight of you. Two pairs of cloud white wings, and the white robe with golden accents, no one could deny that you were unmistakably an angel. "Charlie...they listened, I'm so proud of you!" The woman pulled Charlie into a hug, not paying attention to the nervous expression on her face.

"Yeah, um this is [Name], they're a Dominion Angel who's agreed to help with our cause!" Charlie turned to face you, a wonky smile on her face. While it wasn't an absolute lie, you were glad she hadn't flat out said that you were unofficially kicked out of heaven. "It's nice you meet you, my name's Vaggie. Oh come here, we have something exciting to show you!" Vaggie greets you briefly before pulling Charlie further into the building, with you in tow.

The group of people sitting in front of the television turns to look at you all entering the living room, and you couldn't pretend to not see the baffled expressions on some of their faces."Holy shit, she really did it!" Angel Dust comments, not fully believing that an Angel was standing before him, and a non-exorcist one at that.

"Well would you look at that," Husk comments, a barely noticeable smirk on his face. Charlie and Vaggie stood beside you as you greeted everyone, "It's so nice to meet you, I hope I can work hard and help you all make it to heaven!" Charlie smiles at you in appreciation before she and Vaggie pull you towards the couch to watch their commercial. "Alastor pulled some strings and it's about to air."

"I pulled a few limbs too, hahaha!" Alastor interjects, a proud smile on his usual smiling face. Charlie looks at Vaggie, a surprised look on her face. "Wait, the commercial? You all made a new one?" You both look down at Angel Dust, who's sitting on the floor beside your legs, a confident expression on his face as he boasts."Yeah, one of my better performances if I do say so myself." Charlie beams brightly as she's nearly brought to tears by the knowledge that everyone had put in the work to make a new and improved version of their ad.

"That's... that's amazing." Angel raises an arm towards her face, prompting silencing her, albeit slightly rude in your opinion. "Sshh, it's starting." You turn your attention to the television in front of you all, as you see everyone in nicer clothes and standing at the entrance of the hotel.

"Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel-" Vaggie on the television is abruptly cut off as the tv turns to the news. Everyone in the room except to Alastor and Nifty groan and complain, Vaggie and Angel in their respective languages. A frown pulls at your face, and your ears droop at the sight of the channel being changed before the commercial even started.

A spider demon with a blond bob cut, and another demon with a face mask on, seemingly news anchors show up on the screen. The names 'Katie Killjoy' and 'Tom Trench' under the respective persons as the woman begins to speak. "Breaking news in Hell today! We have just received word from the Heaven Embassy that the next Extermination is happening sooner than ever before. Do you know what that means,Tom?" Although the woman is smiling, you can sense the sarcasm in her voice and the seething rage in this woman's soul.

You frown lightly, hoping that she's one of the people you can help be redeemed. "No, what does that mean, Katie?" He asks, shaking his head mockingly. Katie places her hands onto the desk and leans closer to the camera, her left eye twitching in irritation. "It means we're all royally fucked!" The sounds of screams fill the rooms from the tv, making you shrink into the sofa, as the countdown goes from 358 to 176. Angel seems to be the only one able to speak as everyone else is either stunned into silence or unbothered, "Wait, what? Why?!" Angel scoffs and raises his hand in the air, clearly exasperated.

[Cuts to Adam and Lute]

“And what do we do about the [Name] situation?” Lute turns towards her boss, after their discussion about the dead exorcist. Although she was somewhat disapproving about sending you down to Hell, she knew that they couldn’t risk you telling anyone else about the Exterminations. Plus she knew it was either that or killing you, and you both had a relatively cordial relationship.

“Who the hell is that?” Adam asks, promptly not paying attention to the conversation anymore, too busy scrolling on his phone.

“[Name] sir, the Dominion Angel who came in on the meeting earlier? Who we threw down to hell to prevent the secret getting out.” Lute keeps a level voice, sometimes she just couldn’t with her boss. Adam’s face flashes in realization as she remembers tanking your arm and throwing you out the office with Charmander or whoever that girl was.

“Ohh that bitch…tell anyone who asks that she’s gone on a spiritual retreat to Neptune, it’s what that little asshole gets for eavesdropping. Oh, and get Josiah to replace her, he may be a cuck bitch but he’s the closest we’ll get to [Name]’s standards.”

"Okay, I think that's enough," y/n giggled as she pulled her lips from Miguel's forehead. the couple had decided to do the trend that had been going on around tiktok. where the girl smudges her lipstick and her boyfriend wipes it off with his thumb, while his whole face is pressed with visible kisses. Miguel had seen it all over his Fyp and suggested doing it.

Y/n had thought about it a little bit, not sure if it would be a good idea.

the comments would probably be filled with gross negative words about her, and she would defiantly get hate, but in the end, she nodded her head, How could she say no to her boyfriend's adorable pleading eyes?

Miguel smiled, "You forgot the lips."

"ohh, rightt," Y/n laughed, as she leaned in and pressed her lips to Miguel's. he immediately rested his hand on her thigh, squeezing it a little, when she bit down softly on his lip. Miguel slowly continued to kiss her towards her jaw, as the girl tilted her head, while his hand moved up her thigh.

before things could go any further, she pulled away, moving his hand, "okayy," she grabbed her phone and turned it on. y/n had already entered tiktok and the camera was already facing her.

she glanced at Miguel, "you ready?" the boy nodded his head, while he gave her a small smile, that made her go warm. she took her lipstick and pressed the button. As the sound started playing she applied the lipstick, that she accidentally smeared.

when she felt Miguel's hand on her skin, softly wiping her lipstick, she couldn't help but smile, and when y/n turned the camera and looked at him, her face flushed red.

the way he was caressing her cheek, and the way he was looking at her lips, made her feel weak. she could feel her heart starting to beat faster. and when his eyes met her's she knew that Miguel had noticed the way he had made her feel.

 Miguel leaned in, but the kiss wasn't captured on the camera, because the sound had ended.

"You okay baby?" y/n felt the smirk against her lips.

she laid down, as she pulled him closer to her, "Shut up."

"HEY!!"

"ROBIN WHAT THE HELL!?" you screamed, headphones falling off your head and onto your shoulders.

"you didn't see me." he explained, getting off of you. he pulled you up by your arm and you picked up the stuff that lay on the ground.

"anyway, how are ya'?" robin asked, like he didn't just throw you into the ground with his body.

"nothing much really, other than the fact that you BROKE MY BACK." you argued, putting your headphones back on your head while walking towards the register. robin followed behind you and thought about rolling his eyes to your dramatization of the situation.

"whatever, give me some of the chips you got." he asked, well, demanded.

"hm, i'll think about it."

"please?"

"i guess. you can have one." you rolled your eyes and gave him one chip from the lays bag you had. he blinked at you and then at the one chip you had in your hand. he was so close to punching you in your arm but before that you laughed and gave him the whole bag.

"i'm joking, you looked so heartbroken."

"i was." he responded almost sassily.

you and robin sat at the lunch table together, not conversing but just relaxing in each other's presence while eating. you invited a girl from your english class to sit with you guys and she wondered why you two weren't talking to each other. she looked at you worriedly, and scooted next to you.

"are you and your boyfriend fighting?" she asked, concern lacing her voice, you almost choked on the sandwich you were eating.

"he's not my boyfriend." you gagged in disgust.

"i'm not?" he joked, holding his hand over his heart.

"oh." she said, embarrassed.

"you're fine, people say that all the time." you laughed.

you waited outside of the boy’s bathroom because robin needed to do something, you weren’t really sure but he sounded serious. you heard him talking with some other guy and wondered what was going on, standing up from your spot when you saw them walk out.

“you better tell me if they fuck with you again.”

the other boy nodded in response to robin’s request. he had curly brown hair and wore a blue shirt with a darker blue jacket over it. he stood stiffly beside robin while occasionally taking glances at you. also standing next to robin, you debated just walking away because of how uncomfortable he looked.

“oh, (y/n), this is finn. finn, (y/n).”

“hey.” you greeted, trying to sound nice as to not make finney more awkward.

“hi.” he answered quietly.

“well, uh, i’ll see you guys around.” finn said, walking away from the both of you.

“so you’re gonna replace me with him, huh.” you accused jokingly, walking away as well.

“huh—? of course not.” he rolled his eyes, throwing an arm over your shoulder.

“yeah you are, getting bored of me already?” you faked sniffled, rubbing at a nonexistent tear in your eye.

"here's the answers for the test you had to retake, i got a 100% so you can use it as a reference if you want," you said, handing him a sheet of paper. robin was sick for the past two days and unfortunately missed a math test the day he was gone.

he unfolded the math sheet and quickly skimmed through the paper, "DUDE. like actually thank you so much, this means a lot." he cheered, giving you a quick hug and kiss on the cheek. you laughed at the display of affection and wiped the kiss that was placed on the side of your face.

you didn't think much of it until robin put you in a headlock.

"HUH? WHY'D YOU DO THAT? DO YOU THINK I'M GROSS OR SOMETHING?"

"HOLY SHIT, DUDE CHILL OUT."

he let go of your head after a few minutes and watched as you attempted to adjust your clothes correctly. you both walked out of the library, the bright sun blinding the both of you.

"you're so weird actually." you punched his arm, causing him to shift to the side slightly. he did not let that slide and shoved you with his shoulder, causing you to do the same thing back, and vice versa. you got tired of it and threw your backpack at his head.

YOU DIDNT WANT to be in the bar, but you had to as Angel Dust so desperately wanted to see how you are drunk.

But here you are.

Neno is in your shadow as Angel just drinks, drinks and drinks. You drank only once as you didn't savor the taste of the alcohol beverage. You didn't like the taste of having those so called, "drunk thoughts". Plus, what would Charlie think of her high ranked servant drinking out. She probably wouldn't care, but you do.

Lights flashing with neon colors and music booming softly. Random demons were giving Angel drinks while you pay for your own drink you have in your hand.

Neno whispers softly in your ear as a dark swirl wraps around your waist. You turn to see Angel drunk, being taken away by these, pathetic shits in your eye range.

You cleared your throat as you whistle, Neno screams, leaving your sight and going towards the front of the bar. You drank as screams and crunches were heard. A few gunshots here and there but you didn't care as you just sipped your drink with a crazed soft smile.

"Ah, what a pitiful day..."

You chuckled to yourself as Angel comes busting in having Neno covered in blood and guts. Angel looks slightly disturbed to the point of soberness. "What....the...FUCK was that!" You turn putting on a confused face, "Whatever do you mean Angie?"

Angel narrows his eyes crossing his top arms as one of his lower arms point at you, "Uh no, don't Angie me tits." You stare in his eyes as Angel just stares back, not backing down. You smiled at this as you chucked getting out of your seat.

"I saved you. Isn't that what happened Angel?" You said grabbing his shoulder.

Angel Dust flinched at the sharp claws that are indented in his shoulder. "I can take care of my damn self. I don't need a knight and shinin' armor." He says grumbling at you with a slight angry face.

You hummed as you gripped his shoulder more, leaving to push you away as he clutches his shoulder. "Fine then. Just know, I'm always watching you." As you said this Angel was surrounded by shadows and whispers. He covers his ears as the next thing he knows, he is in his room in the hotel.

Meanwhile for you, you stayed in the bar to pay off your drink and the drinks Angel has drunk as it's pretty cleared that are much better dead. You walked out dusting your formal attire, your wings flapped open from your back. Sharp but soft when it wants to, beneath you are the bodies of the demons that tried to take Angel.

You flapped and fly off with a "WOOSH" as most demons look up and scream or either just mind their fucking business and not look at you.

ANGEL IS PISSED as he throws a pillow at where a picture of you and Angel are. Fat nuggets oink at a shadow as Neno stands in the shadow.

"Get the fuck out of my room!" Angel yells at your counterpart. Neno smiles with white glowing sharp teeth in the shadows as he swirls around fat nugget and hugs the demon pig. Whispers were around his room with a soft hiss, angel glares at the shadow demon as he groans putting the covers ontop of him.

"I only wanted to have fun! Not see guts fly and shit..." he grumbles a little. Neno chuckles a hefty echo as the dark twirls goes over to Angel instead of fat nuggets.

"Leave me alone..." He says as he tries to push the dark smoke off of him. But it wouldn't as you appear through the shadows, thanks to a dark alley.

"Why must i leave a dear friend, who almost got himself killed or even harassed without consent." You said with venom.

Angel grips his covers angrily as he turns to you with an anger looked, " I FUCKIN' TOLD YOU I CAN HANDLE MYSELF!"

Angel yells looking at you, but soon that angered face turns into a worried one as whispers get louder.

"You think...I believe a whore like you?"

Angel Dust's eyes widen at the way you talked to him, he never heard you talked to him like that. "W..what?" He stumbled a bit in his words.

You weren't smiling no more as your face turned fully black with white eyes.

"I'm not dumb, of course you can handle yourself as well. But you're weak..." you said inching closer to Angel's bed.

"You think you ever believed I liked you as a friend?"

Those words echo across Angel's mind as anger filled his heart, with slight heart break.

"You...You piece of shit! I told you everything, everything about me. I cried on your shoulder. You let me rant, vent, everything!" Angel says in rage with slight tears in his eyes.

A "WOOSH" and a "CRUNCH" was heard as silence rang through the air.

Before Angel knew it, he got pierced in his heart by a black colored knife.

"I COULD'VE TORN YOU APART IF I WANTED TO."

ANGEL DUST WAKES UP with a scream as he grips his chest fluff where his heart is. He never had a nightmare like that about you, he never did. Most of his dreams of you were just you and him relaxing and having fun.

The sound of his door opening made him flinched, grabbing the closest object by him. There you were..smiling at him with Neno towering over you.

"Hey buddy—"

CRASH!

Angel threw a lamp at you, not sure if you were the dream Y/N or the real one.

"HOLY SHIT!" You jumped as Neno used his black arm to cover you. "The fuck Angel!? I only came to check up on you after you blacked out drunk man!" You yelled with an angry face.

"Kill yourself you piece of shit!" He yells angrily.

Now you just stand there confused, literally your confused face was either a snare or derpy one. "What?—"

"You know what you did asshat!" Angel says as you notice tears in the corner of his eyes.

Your eyes soften with an eye roll as you turn to black smoke and vapor teleport to Angel's bed as he scooted from you.

"Angie stop it. Whatever happened or some bullshit, it wasn't real. I'm real. I'm real, okay?" You said grabbing his hand.

Angel was between taking his hand from you or actually relaxing at your gentle touch. He looks in your eyes to see no determination to hurt him as he finally calms down.

"Shit..I'm sorry toots. It's just the nightmare fucked up my brain and shit." He says looking at you as he lays his head on your chest. You hum wrapping your arms around Angel as neno joins behind beside of Angel to his right as you are on his left.

"Man I understand, I once thought Charlie was throwing me in a pit of light so she had to show she wasn't the dream Charlie instead. Almost accidentally poured water on her"

Angel laughed at your own words and experience. Angel Dust soon yawns as he nuzzles his head into your chest more, as he closes his eyes.

He never thought he would feel so relieved to have you close to him like you always do. It's weird how close you two are than him and his gal pal. But it's been years.

THE NEXT DAY, you were snoozing in your room as screams of demons outside lull you to sleep. You love being a little sleepy and having a sleep day as Neno was purring beside in a form of a cat. Beside in your own bed stand, was a fuzzy duck toy that could move with a twist of its knob. Someone had given it to you on Valentine's Day.

Angel Dust burst in your room wearing pink shades and holding a pair of black shades with diamonds on it. The bursting sound of your door opening made you jump as Neno screeches covering your body.

"Oh calm down you big shadow." Angel says as Neno calms down a bit.

Angel puts the black shades on you as you tiredly frown, "Angie, the fuck are you doing? It's like 4pm.."

"Exactly! You can't just sleep and rot all damn day toots. You need some fun, and not the drinking fun. Our fun!" Angel says picking you up with his lower two arms as his upper two pair of arms search for an outfit for you in your gothic (or your aesthetic dresser) looking dresser.

"But I love rotting to death...alone." You said with a pout as Neno whisper softly helping Angel as Neno picks out a black (skirt/shorts) with a nice top.

"Oh pleaseeee, with your ass. You need fun for a chance. I mean, LOOK AT YOU!"

(Cue an ugly up close of you wearing your pjs)

"WHATS WRONG WITH HOW I LOOK?!" You said offended as you squirm in his hold.

"Everything"
