Shrignold worshipped King Malcolm for quite sometime, that was until he found out the truth about the king, years and years he was quiet mostly, he didn't even tell his friends about the entire situation, he felt betrayed by his own king, he also felt used by him for praise and worship, he kept feeding him gravel, he couldn't take the entire manipulating by Malcolm anymore, enough was enough, Shrignold confronted King Malcolm about the things he done to him, his friends, and even the other people in Clayville Town, he knew the best solution, burning him, he collected twigs, leaves, and dry roots, his friends joined the execution of the King.

"Care to do the honors?"

"Yes, will do…!"

"Any last words, Malcolm?"

"See you in your nightmares….. Shrignold"

The flames burnt as Malcolm screamed, Shrignold was finally free from the King's manipulations, days had past, and Shrignold was annoyed with his wings, he was not fond of them at all, he knew the best solution, removing his wings, it was painful to the point of bleeding, but it was the only way, once they were removed, he couldn't fly, but he didn't care, the wings were old anyway, his new wings grew as months went by, his old yellow scribbled on wings were gone, replaced by new wings, similar to a monarch butterfly, but the wings had hearts, both rightside up, and upside down, and he tested the wings out, they were stronger and faster than his old ones, and soon, he was not only a lovebug, but a pastel gothic butterfly, now, with no Malcolm around, he's allowed to be himself, and he and Colin are possibly dating now.
