What I think is interesting about Dilruba is that she is the only Sultana* we see who really grows up in uncertainty about her full brother. Dilruba was a child when her older half-brother suceeded and at that point she had already lost her oldest full brother to execution. For me, it is no surprise she is so ride or die for Mustafa. She is literally shaped by the trauma the fracticide system inflicted.
*There were certainly characters like Nergissah and Bayezid's daughter who were in similar situations but we never really got them as full characters, so I don't really count them.

Show wise, would Halime be more reasonable without Dilruba’s influence? It always appears that her daughter goes the extra mile and I doubt Halime would have died like that if she agreed to Kosem’s terms (and she intially wanted to do that)
Honestly I think Halime was significantly more reasonable than Dilruba. It's telling to me that she is horrified and angry when she learns that Dilruba planned to kill all of Kösem's children. She doesn't have the same blind hatred towards her that Dilruba does.
I'm not sure exactly what terms you mean (since I haven't watched season 1 in over a year now), but if I'm assuming this is about the agreement they made when Mustafa first became Sultan, things would have been significantly different if she had kept to the agreement since that was a source of conflict for the rest of season 1. Ultimately though I think it was Osman's death that doomed Halime and Dilruba. Since that was what Kösem wanted revenge for.

Dilruba vs Mihrimah character who you liked more? Do you think Dilruba should’ve idolized Mihrimah the same way Safiye idolized Hurrem?
I personally like Dilruba more cause perhaps she managed to do her “duty” as a princess help brother AND achieve her own happiness. She married Davud who is her happiness AND her political supporter. Also Dilruba’s happiness came into achieving power so not just lovable marriage is what she wants, she also wants power and Davud brought her both. That’s why I love her she managed to achieve what truly makes her happy.
Mihrimah tho…she doesn’t view happiness the way Dilruba views it. Dilruba , as I said, happiness comes in love and power but she showed that she could sacrifice one for the other like agreeing to marrying Halil pasha despite not liking it cause she will achieve power through him (or she thought) then she found Davud who will give her power and love as cherry on top. Mihrimah main happiness was shaped in a fairly tale love story. Mihrimah while almost her whole life was regarded in a high position being daughter of Padisah and Haseki sultan , had great wealth and was desired , while Dilruba never had 1/3 of what Mihrimah had , Mihrimah never had 1/3 of Dilruba’s happiness and conent state . That’s because Mihrimah desires in life were different almost unrealistic with her situation. Not saying Mihrimah didn’t do her “duty” no she married Rustem and stole the seal that brought down Mustafa that’s not my point tho.
A point I notice in Dilruba and it isn’t with Mihrimah is that Dilruba’s antics and behavior is explained through her childhood. Meaning little Dilruba always showed signs of disturbance and hunger of power and we know that’s mostly because Halime upbringing to her was always wanting Mustafa on throne to achieve power. We know what shaped Dilruba’s greed of power, Mihrimah tho…what shaped her greed of wanting a fairy tale love? Okay she liked Bali bey but that doesn’t explain her desire to want pure love story and always searching for it plus she got over bali bey. Maybe because she thought her parents love was fairy tale-like? To us viewers it isn’t but to her? But then she witnessed her father cheating on her mother. Honestly imo Mihrimah’s character was done a disservice like how many love arcs we got with her? Why not show her power? Tbf with Mihrimah we got to see her venerable , powerful (girlboss), confused , guilty and many more sides. Dilruba it was almost one dimensional she is always angry , ruthless and greedy. In little moments like getting kidnapped we saw her cry but her ruthless side is shown way more it is hard to sympathize with her. Even her romantic moments with Davud weren’t really that romantic.
Dilruba idolizing Mihrimah? Why? What point of connection Dilruba had with Mihrimah? Like Safiye worshiping Hurrem is justified because Safiye was trained by Mihrimah, Hurrem’s daughter, who probably showed the best side of her mother. Also it fits with Hurrem’s legacy in the show. Dilruba was born to Halime , Halime who was hated by Safiye which means Safiye didn’t carry on what she learned to Halime so it didn’t reach Dilruba. Mihrimah within the show didn’t have any type of legacy or power showcase , she didn’t even carry the ring. Mihrimah to Dilruba is probably just a dead sultana that once lived. Maybe parallelism between them (event tho they were very different) would have been great but to have Dilruba state she idolizes Mihrimah is very random. At the end Safiye carried Hurrem’s ring and learned about her through someone she loved. Dilruba knows Mihrimah from book probably (or she hates her for bringing Safiye)

This red and golden kaftan was first worn by Gülfem Hatun in the eighteenth episode of the fourth season of Magnificent Century.
Dilruba Sultan wore it again in the twenty-second episode of the first season of the spin-off Magnificent Century: Kösem.
The kaftan is also worn by an unnamed harem member in the sixth episode of the first season of Golden Apple: The Grand Conquest.
