Is it easy for your OC to treat someone with courtesy, even if they personally dislike them or disagree with their views or actions?
From an outside perspective, it's difficult to tell who Nailah actually likes, nevermind who she dislikes. She maintains an air of cold detachment even around acquaintances, keeping her thoughts and opinions to herself for as long as the working relationship persists. Add on her near permanent scowl and most people get the impression she'd rather be anywhere else than dealing with the problems she was hired to solve.
The way to tell how she feels about someone usually comes down to how she addresses them. Only close friends or people she truly respects are called by their names - everyone else is referred to by title. This does lead to odd situations where she'll refer to, say, a city state leader by casual name only to turn and give full title and respect to a nearby farmer or merchant she's worked with in the past.
As her respect for someone falls, so too do the amount of words she's willing to share with them. She's not above giving someone the silent treatment if she simply does not wish to engage with their views or actions, speaking around them or straight up avoiding contact if possible. Should the situation deteriorate into violence she will not hesitate to punch a deserving party, though she'll only cast the first stone if persistent personal insults towards her friends are involved.
Up until that point she maintains her frigid air of professional courtesy to the best of her ability - after all, she's paid to solve problems, not create more.

i hate it when people italicize words in their emails to me giving me sass and then when I give them the obvious answer they should already know, it's all "thanks!!!" and smiley faces

I am having a rough week. Been stuck in bed for a few days, lots of pain and fatigue, week-long migraine that is still haunting us, didn't sleep last night, and our glasses are broken ._. There's still a doctor appointment, therapy appointment, and now an optometrist appointment, and then I have my anniversary (one good thing!!) and it is all so much to deal with.
