Dear @leaf-motif and @imfromsixam​ You are immensely talented content creators and I have always loved your creations but once you decided to perma-paywall a majority of your content, I felt nothing but disappointment.   Why do this? Support-tipping is fine but paywalling? This is completely unacceptable.  Not only does this goes against EA’s terms and conditions but may I remind you how much damage your classist, elitist actions are causing to an already fractured community? Want an example? Look at damage Bergdorf, Cowbuilds, Leosims and many others caused with their toxic snobbery. Nothing but ruined lives and reminder of how late-stage capitalism has ruined the Sims fandom forever. Get your priories straight.  If you want to make money off a phoney brand then go and work at EA otherwise just stop paywalling, it hurts me, you and the entire sims community. Consider me unsubscribed.

Kinda wish that people would be giving the same kind of criticism and scrutiny to Internet Historian that they have been giving to James Somerton. IH is a much bigger and more well known channel and his cave video got a lot more attention. Like I know his video got taken down, and he's only done this to one video (that we know of) but he employed the same sort devious tactics to try and hide his plagiarism, so would be nice to see the same sort of outrage for him too.

I think the most annoying part about all of this watcher shit is that if they had just originally said they'd be releasing content earlier and ad-free on their own website, none of this would've happened. Like sure maybe people would be a little bit upset/disappointed they couldn't afford to see things earlier, but at the very least they wouldn't have completely obliterated their reputation and ostracized their fan base. They just went about this in such a shitty and demeaning way and I'm glad they apologized and backpedaled, but I sincerely don't know how they come back from this, especially after it took them three days to respond. I don't know how their audience will ever be able to trust them again
