Hey everyone! I’m writing a new fic :)

The summary:

Roy and Ed both work at a medium-sized Tech company in London. They're constantly sending Teams messages to each other and gossiping about the latest company-wide email sent.

Ed likes to complain about people to Roy, and Roy likes to pretend he has the solution to every problem Ed has.

Summary: Everyone's born with their soulmate's first words to them written on their skin, and that should make things easy, but it really doesn't.

Comments: While there's a focus on Ed and Al, this fic goes through everyone finding their soulmates. Some of them are amusing - Havoc trying to force himself to be gay because his soulmate's word suggests they're male but it's really just Riza. Others are cute - Maes and Gracia. And then there's Ed and Roy - where Ed knows but hides it because Roy's words on his skin are so basic he can't figure it out and Ed has other responsibilities that come first. Will always come first.

After last year’s success I’m considering running the RoyEd monopoly game again this year. There are never too many fests, and I feel the RoyEd fandom has too few... so here we go!

RoyEd Weekly Drabble Challenge April 12-19

April 12-19 word of the week is Plead

Just a quick reminder of how this works:

Every week (typically Monday) a prompt word will be released. To participate, all you have to do is write a RoyEd fanfiction that is inspired by the prompt provided for that week. Your drabble can be anywhere from 100 words to a whole 10k fic, so no need to feel pressure about the word count at all - just let your idea take you where it takes you and, more importantly, have fun!

Fills should be posted to the challenge collection and mention the word they refer to in the author notes. Please also pay attention to rating and any warnings should they apply according to AO3′s rules. The fanfiction posted on the collection will be shared to this blog if enabled by the author.
