There was no noise coming forward, he could sense the man crying, talking, explaining something to him. How much he wished to hear Leo's voice again, to see him smile just once more before he took his last heavy breath. But? What was that pressed against his lips? A thick liquid was forced into his mouth and he had no other way but swallow it, not really bothered with the taste or the small pinch to his neck. That wouldn't change his world turning black as his eyes felt too heavy to keep them open. "I'm sorry, Leo.." With his last soft nuzzle he breathed out his last words. Or so he thought. Waking up, slowly, quietly, his head was pounding, his body was aching, sweating. Where was he? What was he doing? How did he end up here? He couldn't recall anything past the closing of his eyes. Why was everything so loud? "Leo...!?"

The whole night was spent weeping. Leo had clutched the other close, sobbing against his chest, whispering apology after trembling apology. He’d at least the the wherewithal to change his lover from his bloodied clothes into something looser, clean, and hopefully more comfortable.

“K-kyun?” The vampire gasped softly as the other’s side when he finally stirred, hand cupping a clammy cheek and ah.. The tears had started again. “H-hey.. Hey look at me i-its okay. You’re gonna be okay, alright? J-just like I promised”
