Writing down manageable tasks actually lowers my stress level so much like I just get lost in all I’ve got to do and cannot start everything bc it feels like I won’t be able to finish anything so why even start? But then I put today’s goal at “practice this page of Chinese vocab in an hour” and what do you know? I finished within 35 minutes!

It’s so easy to get overwhelmed but actually also quite easy to find a simple way to help negate the effect
