Frogs do not have ribs. Where is its pectoral girdle? Why does it have mammal feet? What even happened to its hips? Why does it have SO MANY VERTEBRAE‽ And what in the seven hells happened to its skull? Hypertrophy is one thing, but this… this is just lazy. They seem to have decided to give it a beak??? there's so little 'canon' to pick from with this guy but i do genuinely adore how he is inexplicably a frog for absolutely no fucking reason. i never realized how inherently goofy everything frogs have going on is until i saw it applied to a thing that is very much not a frog. they literally didn't need to do that but it's the best thing ever

5. What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about them?

u kno i always dread this question. the concept of a 'character playlist' or anything like that is so alien to me sjdfjkdjksdfh. much as i am the music guy ever and have a fuckmassive library, most of my memorable/influential stuff is really loud abrasive aggressive edm, which is basically never applicable to any character at all ever. that said, i do think about "music reskins" for games sometimes, and i think STruTS' Bizarre Angel works well enough for his fight. i have to stress this is ONLY a boss battle theme though-less about him as a character, and more about landing an atmosphere for the player for peppino's perception of the events.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

the shedding thing is really the only thing i'd directly call a ''headcanon'' and that already has its own extensive post so there is not much extra to say here :p

Huh, I was a little surprised that a lot of people were upset by the Collector leaving. Like, if I was cosmically powerful being stuck in a mirror for multiple centuries, I’d probably want to go see what the stars had to offer. 2. top 5 books of all time?

I answered this with standalones already, so now I'll answer with my top five series!! In no particular order: the Lady Trent Memoirs by Marie Brennan, A Chorus of Dragons by Jenn Lyons, The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater, Keeper of the Lost Cities by Shannon Messenger (special interest series), and the Black Witch Chronicles by Laurie Forest. I would include the Seven Realms novels by Cinda Williams Chima on here because I remembering loving them--however, I do not remember anything about the books themselves at the moment. Reread is long overdue.

3. what is your favourite genre?

Fantasy, 100%. Sci-fi is often listed alongside fantasy, and I am no exception. If I can't get my hands on a good fantasy I'll still enjoy a nice sci-fi--like the Illuminae files or the Expanse (however haven't read the expanse yet, I've only seen the show--which is phenomenal, and is, last I checked, the most scientifically accurate sci-fi to date).

4. what sections of a bookstore do you browse?

I used to browse the YA section a lot, since, you know, was the correct age range. But I've recently been venturing out into the adult sections more and more because YA isn't hitting the same (it's not bad its just...I'm looking for more sometimes), and I find myself in the...fantasy and sci-fi sections. As expected. But I also quite enjoy browsing the classics section!! And I'll peek through the children's section for some nostalgia. Oh! And I'm a frequenter at the little mythology end cap at my local bookstore :)

7. is there a series/book that got you into reading?

Not really, my dad has always been a huge reader (i was named after a book character) and my mom has always enjoyed reading too, and she heard that reading was super super good for kids, so I was read to my entire childhood. It's just been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, there was nothing to initiate it it just was. My mom loves to tell this one story about how I gave up nursing at night to use that time for reading when i was like 1 or something. The first series I can remember was, unfortunately, HP, but that was over a decade ago and it wasn't what got me into reading, it was just another series on the journey and happens to be the earliest one I remember.
