Pokémon rambles: A new status effect for Nuclear Types (Novic/Hergeki Isles/Urainum)

An idea that came up from my fan region’s expansion storyline and a fan-made sequel to Pokémon Uranium. Since I wanted to expand the Nuclear type a bit: why not add a status ailment.

Introducing Irradiated (Stylized as RAD and surrounded by a green border) It functions just like that of a Pokémon being Badly Poisoned, but actually boosts a Pokémon’s Sp Attack status.

It’s not a common status ailment akin to that of Freeze since it cannot be inflicted through any status moves or abilities, instead having a low chance of being applied when a Pokémon is hit by certain nuclear moves (Namely stuff like Gamma Ray or even a new move known as Nuclear Winter (A very nasty move which has boosted strength in Snow/Hail or Fallout)

However a few types are immune to it: Namely Nuclear, Cosmic, and Light (or any Pokémon with certain abilities that prevent them from being harmed by secondary effects/status effects such as the Dranowan Cosmog evolution, Galasklisk)

Also this cool ass sunset color pallete I accidentally found when playing around with the adjustments

(I wanted to continue the art with this one but it kept on breaking when too many changes were made - it kept on inverting the colors for some reason :') )

I again would also like to inform people that these are fanregions made by me and they are not being turned into a mod because I don't have the skill, time, or knowledge of how to do it. I am HORRIBLE at coding and computer stuff.

i don’t think i ever shared her here

Her name is Trudy, and she’s a roaming NPC who randomly changes location every in-game day, found in the routes during the day and in the Pokèmon Centers during the night. When you meet her she will offer you three Pokèmon trade, one of which is usually one that evolves via trading, because she says she’d like to test out new Pokèmon. If either your Pokèmon or hers trade, she will challenge you to a fight! Winning a battle with her starts her sidequest, and I’ll write more about it under read more because you get to know more about her but also. It’s long ansdff 

the first meeting is mandatory in Serra, the third town in the Gym tournament in my and @cindersalad‘s fanregion. While you don’t have to trade something with her if you don’t want to, especially since she offers you a Route One Pokèmon, from that moment you can start finding her around.

Winning a battle with her makes her download a little app on your PokèPhone, that allows you to see where she might be at night.

After five trades, she will start commenting about wanting five Pokèmon she doesn’t really remember the name of. She will describe one, and then the next one once you give her the next.

Everytime you give her one of those Pokèmon she will immediately add them to her Team and battle you. From now on, every battle will be against the Pokèmon you traded with her and the ones she requested, until she gets a team of six.

After two requested Pokèmon, she will start make smalltalks about how her memory isn’t the best. She will also say that she has a Pokèmon at home - “Or, well… I guess it was my home? The guys there allowed me to stay there when they found me!” - closed into a weird Pokèball, but she doesn’t use it because it gives her very weird vibes, for some reason.

At five she will also say she isn’t very fond of Bug types, especially “those long fast ones, or those bulky red ones… Ugh, how are they called again…?”

Finally, at six Pokèmon, she will tell you to meet her at her place. She waits for you to give you that weird Pokèball she has - not as a trade, but as a gift for making her so happy! She isn’t sure why, but she really thinks the Pokèmon you brought to her were meant to be hers all along, and in return she gives you this one, since she thinks it’s very rare and suits a good catcher like you much better! The Pokèmon is a Cosmog!!

Introducing the fakemon cheeble. A native to the ground tribes territory.

:D this is a sheet based on pokemon conquest. Which will hopfully be used in any future dex entries. it is much more conductive than putting regular statistics cause the teritories is a conquest fanregion above all else rather than a mainline fanregion. Sidenote mainline alternative to ability 2 is runaway. If anyone wants to use this fakemon. (Though lmk first. ) or gets an adopt from me.

OKAY SO. sorta?? i mean people weren't already living there so i dont feel to bad?? but like. on my dad and fathers sides. vulgrado WAS a buncha paldean colonies and shit before becoming its own region. i mean most people hate mainland paldea so eh. hard to say.

on my moms side, my grandma is half alolan but like. i never really grew up on alola or did anything there (my island challenge was kinda just cause tapu lele threw a rock at me so i kinda felt obligated to speedrun despite being. WAY OLDER THAN 11) so like while i technically am part alolan on my moms side i cant really have any complex feelings about that other than what the fuck is wrong with unova???? like if you want real thoughts on that talk to people who grew up in alola and have a tie to the culture i just am kinda here.

Fairy/Groud Fakemon GO

Name: Hedgehob (from hedgehog + hob, a type of small household spirit.) Title: The Household Pokemon. Genders: Male/Female (male leaning split.) Typing: Ground/Fairy. Height: 1'3". Weight: 13.1 lbs. Region: Pasio / Lear's home region that I still have to name.

Appearance: A small rodent-like Pokemon that appears like a hedgehog with the spines on its back being made of small, shiny stones. It wears a makeshift satchel around its waist made from scraps taken from the homes it protects. Its color scheme is cream for the underbelly, brown for the back and pink for the stones on its back. Its shiny coloration swaps the brown and cream, and turns the stones blue.

Dex Entry: A small Pokemon whose prickly appearance belies a helpful personality. Often seen in old households or hillsides, they spend the days collecting berries and looking for things to tidy up. However, if offended, they become quite irate and mischievous - often breaking plates or opening locked doors. If your home is blessed by a Hedgehob, you will sometimes find gifts left on your hearth.

Abilities of this Pokemon are Pickup / Prankster (Hidden Ability).

Name: Pucapine (from puca, one of many names of a type of mischievous faerie, and porcupine). Title: The Mischiefmaker Pokemon. Genders: Male/Female (male lean.) Typing: Ground/Fairy. Height: 3'2" Weight: 47 lbs. Region: Pasio / Lear's home region that I still have to name.

Appearance: A rodent-like Pokemon that prefers to stand hunched on its hindpaws. The porcupine quills on its back are the same shiny stones as before, sharpened to dangerous points that are prone to breaking off. The brown on this Pokemon has darkened to resemble peat earth, though the cream coloration stays.

Dex Entry: The evolution of Hedgehob, this Pokemon is regarded as more of a nuisance than its predecessor. Prone to playing tricks on those around it, it enjoys causing frustration before retreating underground. However, if you gain the favor of a Pucapine, it will use its powers of mischief against your enemies, lending itself as a powerful protector to homes that held its favor as a Hedgehob.

Abilities of this Pokemon are Pixilate / Prankster (Hidden Ability.)
