As someone who is far too into Fate, you actually do lose some other things with the Realta Nua translation. Specifically:

-In Fate, I'm pretty sure some of the gore is less detailed, but more impactfully,

-In Heaven's Feel, there's a lot of censoring lines related to Sakura's abuse in the Matou household (specifically, I remember in the rain scene, before Shirou hugs her). Certain parts that are blunt in the base game gain an air of ambiguity. And I do think that loss is relevant as part of what Heaven's Feel is doing is presenting the characters with a situation that they can't look away from. Making it less obvious feels like a loss to me, though again, pretty minor

also very importantly, you lose out on "shinji has done this before" and that one scene is changed to be more of him doing something for the first time in a moment of weakness, significantly toning down just how bad things have been

the fact that shirou Literally Dies at the end of heaven's feel because his body is so fucking ruined from using magic, and all until then he has to grip onto the sharp edge of a pendant to keep conscious or else he completely misses large parts of the day, and unraveling the shroud on archer's arm makes him experience such intense indescribable pain he goes on for paragraphs and paragraphs of increasingly strange and disturbing metaphors about it, should tell you all you need to know about why Not to Fucking Powerscale this man. if your takeaway is "oooh nine lives blade works fucking awesome" i'm assigning you to a remedial course in actually reading heaven's feel

Just thinking about Riven is one of the few people—if not, the only person—who understands her and her feelings towards her own powers.

Just thinking about next season revolving around her wearing the runic limiters so most of the time she’s with him, she doesn’t actually use or have her powers.

Just thinking about Riven getting hurt and being in so much pain that Musa doesn’t think twice about reaching for him and trying to take his pain away.

Just thinking about Riven trying to pull away because he knows how she feels about using her powers and the trauma she has from feeling her mother dying and he doesn’t want her to experience something like that again, doesn’t want her to force herself to live through something like that again.

Just thinking about how Musa doesn’t let him pull away because she wants to feel his emotions, she wants to feel his pain because it means he’s still alive and she isn’t giving up on him because she needs him to survive.
