okay so…… This verse will be VERY selective and I probably won’t advertise it much, if at all. I just don’t want my only TWEWY muses to be assholes..?? plus i love kira sooooo XDD

Kira has BOTH a neo and a normal twewy verse, but they DO NOT OVERLAP. If it’s the neo verse, she was not in the original twewy. If it’s the og twewy verse, she most likely isn’t in neo (unless plotted). For the Neo one, she’s 19 and for the og one, she’s 16. The neo one will be more active since I have more muse for neo PLUS i can put p much all of my ocs in her team, but if it’s in the normal twewy game, her partner is most likely Lia (may switch her out with my other ocs, depends on the thread). I’m going to just explain her neo verse, but the normal twewy one is very similar.

Kira was a student before she died. In og twewy, she was a schoolgirl and in neo she’s in college. A LOT of my ocs are from other countries than Japan so I’ll be going with the headcanon that if you die in a city, you play the game in that city (which sucks for her bc SHE DOESN’T KNOW SHIBUYA!!!!). This is especially true with Kira, who is from London and doesn’t know what tf she’s doing anymore XDD

She is the leader of her team, the “Twilit Stars”. They’re fairly new to the game (the second newest, with the Wicked Twisters being the newest) and rather average at it. Kira is very smart and a natural leader, but she’s still struggling. She’s pretty creative (but not even close to as creative as Neku) and is good at making quick decisions since she is a genius strategist. Kira came to Shibuya for something for class. The members of her team are herself, Lia, and Anne (plus some of my friend Mira’s ocs, who may be mentioned in threads.!!)

Lia wrote a lot of music before dying and often has at least one earbud in her ear. She’s a bit more creative than Kira and more in touch with music, but she’s very hard to get along with. She’s also 19 and a pretty strong fighter rather than strategist. She’s from London as well and doesn’t know Shibuya well. She came here for the music.

Anne is a fucking truck. She’s 20 and has the strongest attack out of everyone on the team, but she’s entirely lost. She came to Shibuya on a business trip for her father’s company and accidentally died here. Really good with fire related pins.

full disclosure as so the state of this blog and why i’m literal schroedinger’s mun right now, TMI time mind the tags

So I’ve been working on a full muse document for all of my muses - OCs prioritized, but eventually for canons as well - and its skeletal beginnings can be found HERE, but things have been bumpy so i haven’t had time to work on it:

my father passed away early october - not too long after I even restarted this blog - and it’s been a time. I came back home in July to live with my parents, so thankfully my mom isn’t alone, but it’s still been rough for both of us. for the better half of the month i had no motivation to do literally anything

his 40 day memorial is literally tomorrow and that’s a whole can of worms i’m not going to open until then

i’m currently working from home for a new job in the video game industry (new as in this is my sixth month here and i still feel lost and afraid) and now that i’m dealing with high profile clients and large scale projects, my time has been cut into a lot. i took some time off from work to deal with funeral details, but after i got back.....it’s been hard to catch up, haha

nanowrimo. i don’t think i have to explain that, like, at all. i’m dying, squirtle.

my video game backlog that has been taunting me for ages. i need to finish atelier shallie, bravely default 2, and neo: twewy at the very least (neo especially because i promised some friends i’d play nagi for them, even if she probs won’t be on this blog any time soon), and i have a bunch of other games i play on and off or just never finish (looks directly at spelunky and dead cells).

projecting out, shin megami tensei v is coming out this week. i’m a slut for shin megami tensei, i think everyone knows this. i’ve been waiting for this game for five whole years and once it’s in my hands i will not put it down.

projecting more, bdsp comes out next week. not as excited, but it’s still a pokemon game and a nostalgia trap, so i’ve preordered it and will inevitably play it

projecting even further, endwalker drops in december (rip) and i need to renew my sub, which i’m going to, buy the expac, which i’m going to, and finally finish heavensward, which i may or may not do. that’s an entire time sink in and of itself. i don’t want to think about the hours. please. i just want to omnicraft.

TL;DR all of these are either somebody dying or video games, i really apologize.

When do I think I’ll be able to get this blog back up and running? If I stop dicking around with muse documents, probably......late November/early December lmao, so like.....

I guess this is a “don’t expect much from me at the moment, but at least expect something.”

Henry is a really smart kid and has a really high vibe, like Joshua. Even before he died, he knew about the game because he could see the players and the noise. No one believed him, of course, so he left home and came to Shibuya to understand what he saw better as the noise led him here. He’s not much of a fighter but he knows the game really well and is very smart. He’s 15, and he won’t talk about how he died.

The Random Choice Creature points their finger at the lovely Amaryllis "Ama" Lifaye! My sweet baby girl!!

Let's see... I'll give you a general overview :0

I primarily use Ama for a TWEWY inspired role-playing game where she was a Player at age 12, and she lost--becoming a Reaper, where she has served as Support, Shopkeeper, and Officer. She just turned 17 this past Monday, December 10th.

She originally came to me in a dream, where I projected her to be around 10 years old. If I remember correctly the dream was around early 2014.

Amaryllis loves plants-- especially flowers. She learned the Western art of flower language at a young age and often gives flowers to others with their meanings in mind. Her name refers to the Christmastime flower that means "Pride, Pastoral beauty" and its origin in the Greek myth of Amaryllis and Alteo.

I am in the process of writing a canon fantasy story for Amaryllis, where she is a child queen with florakinetic powers. Her father-- the Prince regent-- keeps her from ruling and schemes to control her abilities.

She is also the mayor of my Animal Crossing New Leaf town!

An Order of Mr. Mews.

These Mews appear in the Mew Roulette in my streams. But we can still ask...Who made these Mews? And for who?

Short story below.

Eri looked at the latest batch of custom Mr. Mews and frowned. Once again, she can't quite remember who ordered these Mews even though she's met the client before. She's certain she has.

"Shiki, you remember who ordered these, right?"

"Yeah, I remember what he looks like. But I don't know much about him."

The client should be someone unforgettable - an outfit so chaotically coordinated and wears too much of a smile for it to be natural - and yet, every time Shiki tries to recall him, her memory of him threatens to vanish into thin air like it has for Eri.

It was unsettling, and Shiki couldn't help but think of the UG and the powers from outside the RG that could be affecting her and Eri's memories. Perhaps, on that alone, she should have refused the request.

The client, aside from dressing rather colorfully, also refused to give a name for the order. When she first asked, he told her she could take as long as she needed. When asked again, he offered to pay more than the original price even if she couldn't complete the whole batch.

But she put her foot down. She wasn't going to fulfill the order without a name. By this point it was setting off so many alarm bells and even though she was tempted to walk away from this, her curiosity pushed her to get a name out of him. Even despite the customizations he requested to the Mews that looked very much like people she knew (and the client), she pressed for a name.

It was going to be a fake name. But something about this man reminded her of someone familiar who she couldn't place at that moment. Someone who, despite being a bit odd, was someone she could trust. Someone who helped her get out of a dangerous situation once before.

(Perhaps that too, should have been another siren blaring, although in hindsight.)

Finally he huffed, crossed his arms and withdrew into his puffy autumn colored patterned jacket. He looked away with a frown and gave her a name.

"Kiryu".

this is just gonna be a misc dump post for info related my latest twewy oc i.e. josh’s mom, sayuri (lol):

i currently have two versions of her: angel and human.

angel

born and died in the early years of the edo period.

she was born to an artisan’s family residing in edo.

she was one of the many casualties of the meireki fire

due to the fire creating an influx of entries in the game of the time - the game was tweaked to have stricter evaluations of players and harsher trials. 

needless to say, sayuri passed the trials - so she wasn’t erased. but her performance wasn’t good enough for reincarnation or ascension, so she became a reaper.

she spent a few decades rising the ranks, eventually becoming one of the many composers governing edo - and later on, when the shibuya district was finalized, she became its composer.

until around the time of the meiji restoration, she played an elaborate long-term ploy to eliminate the feudal class system and destabilize society via the results of her games.

after that, she took on smaller projects of creating various political and ideological movements, experimenting with various game systems, befriending influential people in the RG to influence them, etc etc.

during the bubble period, she encountered a young, promising lawyer with an amusingly uptight attitude.

bored of her past projects and wanting something particularly fun and challenging - she met with him in the RG, posing as a writer who - to his surprise - could engage with him in local policy-making, politics, economics, and all sorts of subjects that would go over people’s heads out of disinterest

in that way, they became friends. and then lovers.

they got married in a secret, private ceremony. no fancy dress or contracts, but sayuri did get a ring and a bouquet. she still has the ring.

yoshiya was born not long after, on christmas, towards the end of the bubble period.

due to sayuri being unable to stay permanently in the RG and yoshiya being unable to stay permanently in the UG - she abandoned her son with her husband and disappeared into the UG

this. had. Bad. consequences. ofc.

her husband became cold, melancholic and closed off. her husband’s family criticized his brazen decision to get married and have a child in secret, especially when they already arranged the man’s marriage to an elite family’s daughter by the time this happened.

yoshiya grew up without the love of his father, mother, stepmother and grandparents (the latter two tolerating him at best and disdainful and disgusted at worst)

sayuri tried to watch over her son as best as she could from the UG, but also couldn’t face the fact that his unhappiness was her fault - so she also kept away from him

unfortunately for her, her lack of watching led to yoshiya meeting hanekoma and learning about the UG without her realising

which led to yoshiya killing himself to usurp her position as composer - oblivious to the fact that she is his mother.

as such, sayuri made a hasty plan to ascend to the higher plane - instructing her producer to hand her empty seat to yoshiya, as she was “starting to get bored with what i can do as composer” when in fact she didnt want to get rid of her son for coming after her, nor let him get rid of her and stain his hands with his own blood

succeeding in her ascension, sayuri made a silent promise to put her past behind her, once and for all -

but she still cant actually forget about her son, nor the little mistakes that led to where she is now.

still, she won’t go back to her native shibuya. she feels too guilty and scared to see what’s become of him now, to face him ever and tell the truth. she just hopes he’s happy.

only child of a rich family owning a textile and clothing business.

would pretend to have the delicate, elegant appearance of a cultured rich lady, but actually had a pretty reckless streak of snooping and digging her nose into things she found curious or interesting - mainly bc her sheltered life kept her from knowing much and she sure knew that.

went to the same middle and high school as neku’s mother.

married into the kiryu family through an arranged marriage; the kiryus were family friends with a tradition for lawyering

getting married forced her true personality down for a quiet, filial and loyal wife who didnt cause any drama whatsoever. it was stifling and made her seem more tired than she should have been over time.

had yoshiya towards the end of the bubble period.

due to the economic downturn of the time, her husband became increasingly busy with getting clients and her own parents, who still managed the business, were getting increasingly stressed by monetary difficulties

in this time, she paid less attention to her son as she devoted herself to supporting the work efforts of her husband and parents at their requests

this. also had bad consequences.

bc one day, yoshiya killed himself. and sayuri, who did love him in spite of her inability to understand what he saw and her own inattentiveness, blamed herself.

she wallowed in this despair for a while before deciding, one day - enough was enough. she needed change.

she divorced her husband - who didn’t really seem to care for yoshiya or her anymore - and took back her maiden name. 

she also took over her parents’ business, managing to resolve its problems and get it back running with greater efficiency.

while she feels like she’s shaken off a great deal of stagnation in herself, she still can’t help but think back on the day of her son’s suicide, wondering what she could have done to prevent that - death is something she can’t change, in spite of herself

nowadays, shes busy running her business, advocating for mental health and children’s welfare in her spare time, going through the occasional thrift shop - even tho shes plenty loaded with her inheritance - and trying to reconnect with friends and people she stopped seeing after she got married

In which there are more hugs given than planned for everyone involved. There are limits.

Mother and Father OC Master Post

This is in regards to Joshua playing that one final Game with Neku at the end of TWEWY, and in the case were Joshua actually put his existence on the line for that final Game. For a Composer, who is supposed to be monitored by Parents, to fall into such a mental state that they would want to do that, means that the Parents did not do their job of monitoring their children.

Since Joshua survived, they weren't immediately removed from their positions. It's partially on the Composer to decide whether or not to keep either of the Parents. This means that Joshua could choose to keep one of the Parents, but not the other, if he wanted. Parents are not tied together. All that matters is that the two Parents can work together.

For Father, there are a couple of things to note:

He's apologizing specifically for not being a proper "parent".

When Father means "Not again," he's referring to The Incident in this comic. At this point in the story in the timeline Father hasn't told this story to Joshua. But Father was there during The Incident, where he lost someone very important to him who he failed to save.

Father is not a touchy feel-y person in general. He's not known for giving out hugs, so this is an extra level of surprise to Joshua.

There was once a Composer called - NULL.

Father tells Joshua a story about a foolish Composer and an event that had a terrible price. I don't know when Joshua would hear the story but I put it roughly around NEO as a part of Father trying to fix things with Joshua. (We'll get to the start of that another day. Given the...stunt, Joshua tried to pull at the end of OG TWEWY.)

Musings below.

There is a bit more to this event, but Father is not sharing that information right now. The attack on the Composer was designed to cause damage to the lower planes and the Composer. Because the Composer spent so much time with the Reapers, and taught them a lot about the planes and themself, it gave them the knowledge the needed to actually cause significant damage.

If the attack had succeeded, and they had defeated the Composer, one of them would have become the Composer and still would have had to clean up their own mess. But at least it would have been a functioning Composer to handle it.

But instead, they didn't, so the region was felt was a partially functioning Composer, unable to help out or transfer their power over to someone who could. Luckily all Reapers had the same training, so they were able to fix things eventually, but not without losses.

Now that knowledge about the planes and the Composer's abilities is not openly shared, so if something similar were to happen to a Composer again, the same damage won't - shouldn't - be possible.

And one more fun fact about the story - Father was there...as a Reaper. Perhaps Joshua will get to learn that, and more details about those events.

New Shoes With a Fashionable Twist!!

Current fashion says camo shoes are in, but the pattern should be vertical, not horizontal. Father approves since he's done this before when he first started wearing his odd rainbow gloves. But now he shifts the pattern himself... will Haz pick up that too? Hmmm.

Father wants to give a hug but can't quite...Embrace it. But it's ok. Null understands.

It's probably going to be a bit before I can properly explain it, but Null has done a big Thing for Father and Father is so, so, so thankful for it. So much that Father wants to give Null a hug! It's difficult for Father to full commit to it because of their rocky history, and especially since this Thing seems too good to be true.

Null has a bad habit of not revealing everything, especially when it's something unpleasant, and Father is wary of that. Father can't bring himself to press on that right now, and when Null says it will be fine, Father is trying, again, to trust Null.
