Author summary:
Post s3, during or inspired by Scott's s4 dark spiral. A man attempts to enact his revenge on the nogitsune through Stiles, and Scott doesn't have the same patience he used to.
Reasons to love the fic: I am always on board for a good faith exploration of dark!Scott and those are not easy fics to find. This one has all of the usual visceral feelings nac always provides packed into ficlet form. It really makes you think about how terrifying Scott could get. Lovely.

Spending time at his boyfriend's house was common. Bdubs would stay the night, sometimes unprompted, and Tango would gladly let him in. Especially if that meant something more than sleeping.
Then, in the morning, he'd wake up before Bdubs and make both of them breakfast. It was routine, it was simple.
Flipping it around? That'd also be simple… right?

two to three characters. Getting Lucía to open up is a big deal and very few people have broken through that shell. Those who have have ended up in her ride or die category. They are, in essence, the very best of her friends and the people she'll always show up for. There are no restrictions for this one we just gotta come up with a good reason. ( mak, persy, uardo )

one witch. Lucía's mom is a mystery to her, as her fathers got an egg donation and got a few fertilized and implanted to see which one stuck, sort of like a roulette. She has no idea who her mom is or was, and beyond the fact that she needs to be half African-American and/or part-Spanish (undetermined) and/or part Chippewa-Cree it's pretty up to the person who wants to do it. Trying to keep it in house right now but will submit it to the main at some point probably (open)

a few characters. She might not open up much but it doesn't mean she won't rush right into a tumble in the sheets. Whether this was an ill-advised hook-up, a bar trawling adventure, a tinder happenstance or what, they liked each other enough after the initial sex to remain friendly and that probably means a little something in Luc's books. multiple witches. Luc has no current coven and, though she might be recruited in the future by one, she has been working on the idea of her own. Something that represents the combination of the classic and the new, meant for people looking to experiment in their fields and try to unlock new facets, rather than just going with the status quo. if you want your character to have spoken to her about it after she mentioned the idea or be a potential joiner, lmk. Ibis - Impulse; Salamander - Skizz; Torch - Tango; Moss - Bdubs; Evergreen - Etho; Diamondback - Cleo

Winters hit mudwings harder than most thought. Their marsh, the home that Ibis longed for, was rather warm with barely a drop in temperature even in winter.
But Ibis wasn't in the Mud Kingdom, he was somewhere far away, in the perpetually unclaimed territory high in the Night Kingdom's mountains. A place no one would ever look for a sandwing rebellion… theoretically at least.
So not just was it winter, but they were far in the peaks. Ice, glaciers even, surrounded them for miles.
Which is why he even allowed Salamander to curl up against him, the two mudwings looking for warmth as Torch sat on the larger mudwing's back.
Though what was once comfortable turned uncomfortable as his larger brother ended up covering him entirely in. The bigwing wrapping him in a cocoon of sorts as Torch sprawled out on top of Salamander.
It seemed even Evergreen, an icewing-rainwing hybrid, seemed to become cold in this weather as he curled up an top of the.
Ibis could barely shut his eyes for a second as Moss slid into the sleeping cave - Ibis' sleeping cave might he add - and apparently decided to go along with it.
It had to be several hours before he was found like that. Wings sour under the weight of multiple dragons, especially under Salamander who has fully pinned him down at that point.
Lady Diamondback, a large sandwing and the group's actual leader, seemed to do a double take as she saw all of them.
Confusion shifted to a mischievous glint in her eyes and a smirk on her snout, one talon moving into the room.
"Don't." Ibis warned with a whisper.
"Why? It's so cold, Ibis." She said, stepping forward once again.
"Don't." He insisted.
"Or what? You don't exactly look able to fight with several dragons on top of you." Diamondback said with another step.
Ibis huffed, not exactly accepting his fate entirely, but also not wanting to wake anyone. Moons forbid he wake up Moss or Evergreen, only the stars would know what way they'd kill Ibis for doing that.
Diamondback took the silence as an invitation, though luckily didn't actually crawl on top of him. Instead she lay next to him, one wing extending to cover Moss and Evergreen.
Though his wings, and his spine, continued to complain, Ibis still found himself slowly falling asleep. Minor pains almost melted away as Salamander rested his head onto Ibis.

Feb 7 - actually made it out of the house for a while today; got a lift downtown from my brother so I could finally deposit all those rolled coins into my savings account. And then we did a fast run to the closest grocery store, where I was able to restock a couple of my teas that I’d run out of. Though there’s still more I want, so I’ll probably tag along with him on a longer grocery run to the bigger stores further away next week.
The snow removal trucks and loader were out, getting rid of the fairly massive snowbanks that have built up between the road and the one plowed sidewalk. In the hour plus that we were away, they only made it about a half dozen houses along the main road in town (if that), but then guesstimating on the size of the snowbanks, it was taking about two truckloads per house frontage, which is a lot of loads to pick up and dump into the truck. See also: why most of the streets in this town are 3-4 lanes in width.
For supper I hauled the remaining half of the “Half Moon Smoked Ham” out of the freezer, along with some ham stock (made from a previous bone-in ham) and made a boiled dinner out of it (with onions, celery, potatoes, turnip, and carrots). There’s still a chunk of it left, which I’ve put in the meat drawer in the fridge for sandwiches, and the leftover liquid in the pot was strained and went back into the freezer as even better ham stock. Though if most of that remaining ham is still in the fridge in a couple of days, I might make something like ham & pea soup or hoppin john.
Feb 8 - a nothing special day. For supper I made toad-in-the-hole (which in the 50s era cookbook I use for it is called ‘Yorkshire Sausage’, I suppose from the batter’s similarity to Yorkshire pudding) and kernel corn seasoned with butter, salt, pepper, and garlic.

To Prime or Not to Prime?
...that seems the question and after hours and hours of researching how one primes using PPG Omni MP 171 epoxy primer I was spitting nails and ready to throw in the towel.
Nobody seems to be using this stuff. There are only rudimentary instructions. The only guy who ever seems to have used this stuff is on a cruise and not returning phone calls.
After one epic meltdown by me ("Fuck Priming! I don't care if the thing falls apart in 50 years!!!") we decide on priming using Stuart Systems. The reasons are:
1.) It's relatively non toxic compared to the other stuff.
2.). We have some. Not enough but some. We order more. In yellow, so we have a friendly prime color.
3.). People are using it and there is a system which makes sense. Also did I mention people are using it on their planes? Like, they use it and have made videos and I can watch them.
4.). A real person is answering the phone and is friendly and getting things done.
5.) It doesn't break the bank.
So all's well that ends well. But boy was I cranky today.
