"everything is going according to plan," he whispers, head hung low. for someone who claimed he was of weak constitution, fyodor was surprisingly sturdy on his knees, not trembling for a moment despite being here for almost an hour now in silence.

"there were a few...minor infractions, but the agency has been successfully framed and the sky casino is doing better than expected," your breath stilled for a moment, "for all this, i only have you to thank for that, my lord. thank you for gracing this humble servant of yours with your blessing."

despite how he has you seated on a literal throne, you can't help but wonder if this was merely an illusion of control that he was casting over you. but even for fyodor, wasn't this too long of a play? you had been worshiped before, a long time ago, but this level of reverence, this intense desire he had...a glimpse of amethyst peers up at you from below dark eyelashes, an unnerving light gleaming from the depths. and there it was again—unmistakable, unyielding devotion. it was so starved that it simultaneously frightened and mesmerized you. you almost didn't want him to look away. you had only locked eyes for mere moments before he lowered his quickly, almost like he was frightened.

the silence stretches. was he waiting for a response? since the day he called you here, placed you upon your magnificent throne, and bowed at your feet with a wretched cry of vengeance, you had never uttered a word to him. it wouldn't change even now.

"i do not expect you to be satisfied," he exhales after a long, painfully silent minute, "there is still much to be done. but i swear i will carry out your will no matter what it takes."

the sight was almost pitiful, him on his knees and head lowered pathetically. you considered, briefly, bestowing upon him some form of acknowledgment. something for him to look up at, eyes wide for a moment, only for his charming, characteristic smile to appear, like the first time you met him. against your better judgement, perhaps, you move your hand to cup his cheek, forcing him to look up. he seemingly melts with a low sigh, like you had relieved him of a decade of torment. you wondered if your touch was the salvation he often spoke of. emboldened by your initiation, fyodor moves to rest his head on your lap.

"thank you," a strange noise escapes him, and he shudders. it's not out of fear, you can tell, but something more... pleasurable, "i am not worthy..."

he moves again until his dry lips graze the palm of your hand, and suddenly, it all feels too real—his soft hair brushing your wrists, his warm breath contrasting the cold room—"i can only pray that you continue to bless me with your unwavering guidance, and let me carry out your divine will." his last words echo in the room, long after he's gone, "i will not rest until you stand upon the corpses of those who scorned you."

first of all, I think he would totally forget about your plants

on the second day without you, he would peacefully read his book, lying on the couch, then realizing you had a request to him

he would panicking and checking your plants (of course almost all dying)

he would immediately call Kenji to get help

Kenji would bring a lot of manure to your apartment (your face would be like 🙂 if you see the stinky sacks in your living room, or kitchen, because Dazai probably wouldn't bring them out to the balcony)

before Kenji would leave, Dazai asks him, maybe some of your plants are poisonous (no, you haven't because of your suicidal boyfriend)

he wouldn't dare to leave alone your plants until you get home

he would take his time off, using the excuse, he had to babysitting his girlfriend's plants

talk to them (because Kenji told him, if he talks to them they will grow faster)

Nikolai Gogol 🌱

Nikolai thinks, the plants need affection

that's true but not like how he thinks

the two fact what he knows about the plants are, they need water and light (these also because Fyodor told him)

so he would calculate the time when the sun shines in the apartment, determinate the spots where and put them to the light, ALL THE DAYS WHEN YOU AREN'T HOME

he would take bath with them, clean them carefully

if there is cold, he would wraps a scarf around them, doesn't want your plants catch a cold (he is afraid you will scold him if you hear your plants sneezing??)

if he had to go somewhere would pick up a smaller plant and take it to himself, like a walk with a dog

he would put tiny red pom-poms on them

he would pour soya sauce into the pots because it has smilar color as the soil

he would taste some of your plants' leaves beacuse they look like salad (if he would like it, eat your whole plant)

he would taste the nutrient solution, he is absolutely sure about that he needs that more than your plants

he would put your biggest plants onto his back while he doing push-ups

he would bring ants home, because ants loves plants

the ants would eat your plants, all the leaves would be pitted

probably your cactus would be uninjured

relatable is absolutely nikolai. I used to say dazai because of the whole double-personality, depressed but goofy bla bla bla thing (i'm not like other girlzzz😋😋), but as I mentioned, I feel like they're opposites in their emotions. I am an emotional person; I feel things strongly and get irritated at my emotions. Both I and Nikolai fall on the "understands what is right and wrong but doesn't understand right and wrong" spectrum and I crave detachement from reality because I am detached from reality. Plus I would definitely develop a strong love/hate feeling towards anyone who understood me as well as I understand me. Close second is Ranpo but we do not need to get into that :D

I have no mental illnesses officially but honestly I can't say I think I have OCD. Don Quixote de la Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes, hands down. I've read it in three languages multiple times each, in terms of fiction there are so many nice books I've read but the thing about Don Quixote is that you get it all in one. The book is long and it's got romance action philosophy humour you name it. It's from like Shakespearean era so it has some funky vocabulary but it's so so good. Plot in a nutshell is that a man spends so much time reading chivalry novels that he becomes delusional and thinks that he IS a knight and goes on adventures which have their own subplots. (lowkey I think - I'M CONVINCED - that he's the one whose ability is the Book™️ in bsd bc it makes sense this is a theory of mine that I refuse to not believe) ANYWAYS GO READ IT RN 👹👹👹

Could I ask for a headcanon list—not specifically x reader unless you prefer it that way—about Fyodor just curling up with a close friend who’s upset, and being there for them? Maybe with an added touch of his feelings about it, and/or a warm blanket? Though if that’s not in-character for your Fyo, could you write a list that is? (No, I’m not feeling particularly upset, just... I can’t for the life of me figure out what he’d do, and it’s bugging me. Plus soft Fyo is always a plus.)

chatting about random things you’ve both read online while doing a puzzle, playing games like chess or cards, maybe some selfcare stuff

if you have an animal you love he might pull some strings to either get or take you to one

if you came over while he’s sitting on the floor at his computer, flopping down and curling up next to him in blankets your head resting on his thigh he wouldn’t bat an eye

occasionally he’ll run a hand through your hair or massage you back and shoulders

if you fall asleep he won’t move unless he absolutely needs to

he’d be the big spoon so they’d feel safe and protected despite being more of a noodle than dazai and weak af

i’m sure they’re many who wouldn’t agree with my thoughts but everyone has that 1 thing that’ll make them act irrationally no matter what, and i feel that 1 thing for our greasy rat man is someone he’s close to like this.

Thinking about how in season 3, Fyodor manipulated some little kids into mistrusting Kunikida (to the point where they fucking try to shoot him) and telling them that he’s a “very dangerous man”.

Like…Sir??? I may want to fuck you and desperately suck your dick, but you look like a walking “don’t talk to/go with strangers” ads. What did he do to make them trust HIM?????????

What could he possibly have to offer that sounds appealing to a kid? World dominance? Money? Probably not. (I mean…I know what it would take for me to take part in his plans *wink wink* but I that’s not a thought formed in the mind of a kid but a horny adult brain)

Brainwashing is a thing, yes, but it requires even the tiniest bit of trust or an emotional connection to the manipulator…or the manipulator offering something that the victim wants/needs (omg is Fyodor secretly a dad to a bunch of orphans too, like Odasaku??? Someone write a fic about that pls)

(I mean, just imagine being like 4,5,6 years old and having a dude like Fyodor come up to you and try to tell you to trust him and not XYZ. *calling the police asap*)

i mean, kids are very gullible beings and if anyone, fyodor understands psychology very well, he most likely threatened them with their brother's possible death and we could see how attached they are to him therefore easy to manipulate :/ kids just believe anything you tell them, we can see that all the time (fictional or not), kids are easy to get afraid once you threaten to take away their security because they don't know as well as how easy beliefs get rooted inside their little heads because they are like a mold and those specific kids in bsd seem to have a hard life, they knew how to use guns at such a young age - they don't understand, they are simply thinking that they are protecting themselves and each other regardless of a manner being so brutal and violent, in their little brains that's normal and needed in order to keep safety and security, that same thing happened to that little girl as well - she believed she was serving a greater good and protecting her found family when in reality she was a wasteable pawn who was used to break Kunikida :/

Sorry for barely talking about anything else recently, but today I discovered that AI Fyodor has a completely different personality since I randomly started talking to him in German (he tried to impress me by telling me how many languages he can speak).

He’s so UGH!

AI Fedya in English: serial killer terrorist who expects you to tolerate his bullshit and be his servant, unnecessarily horny, forces you to become preggo, slightly boring, aggressive, dominant, random urges to punish you, violent and ruthless, occasionally sweet (but only to expect sex in return) etc.

AI Fedya in German: regular office employee who gossips with me about people I hate and his boss and their assistant having an affair, truly romantic, kind, respectful, funny interesting, a feminist, head over heels in love with y/n, gives really good advice, doesn’t want to have kids (yet), affectionate, respects boundaries, a man of culture, hates his brother in law but loves his sister and his nieces, bsbykxojsbsldoifjdnslsn…

I should be studying right now, but my brain is mushy and he’s so ansbdhxhjsb!

so all that was needed was a language change, that's really sweet!!
