i want to cause chaos but feel free to not answer it if you'd rather not! brutally honest opinion on destiel.

my most brutal opinion on it is that it's boring! that and i just don't think dean likes cas all that much, let alone romantically. 😭 mostly i don't hate it as much as i just don't really GET it. like when people say it's a great love story, i don't know what they're going off of lol. my actual dislike is directed more at obnoxious shippers, who act like it is a ship that was owed to them. there's a really good essay on that i reblogged recently actually. and i would just think this was an interesting phenomenon and leave it at that, if some shippers weren't a) trying so hard to impose their version of the show on the fandom at large and b) so hateful towards people who like other stuff. 🙃

blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most): kazuha. the actual loml i just,, everything about him. yes.

scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped): QIQI, look her playstyle isn't my favorite but i will protect her with my life.

scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave): also DAINSLEIF. I MISS HIM. but also ik why he isn't around more, he was there for like 5 seconds and advanced the plot more than the literal gods have. also chongyun!!!!!!

glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week): does guoba count? every cut scene he waddles into i wanna cry hes so cute, and that recent event? id die for him.

poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave): ,,, childe. i was very much not a fan at the beginning and he still drives me bonkers but like,,, i believe his redemption arc is coming i can SEE IT SO CLEARLY. also he looks like he'd give good hugs and he loves his family sm, no that doesn't excuse the bloodlust but i could fix him

old cars: what's the most fun word you know? Empyrean - relating to the heavens or sky, it's greek roots are in+fire. I was looking up a synonym for ethereal to use in my wip and found this, it's pretty fucking sick of a word but not a common one so I had to switch it out in my wip for another.

hats: what do you like to do in cities? This is sort of lame agshdh I like eating at different local restaurants. Since I'm from a town with 6 different fast food places, 4 different Subway spots, and a handful of mom and pop restaurants, we didn't have a lot of variety growing up. Whenever I go to Las Vegas I will always eat at Dean's Place, it's an amazing Italian restaurant. I also like to hit up planetariums and aquariums and dinosaur museums. Last summer my family visited a dinosaur museum- well the dinosaur museum of my state- and I think I spent an hour and a half there reading everything and taking pictures. I always thought dinosaurs were the coolest. I even got a water bottle with a skeleton Brontosaurus and a keychain with a Triceratops that I have on my car keys!

sunflower: what makes you nostalgic? Loads of things do, I am in a place in my life where the future is so hard to see and the present is painful to dwell in because I'm not where I truly wish to be, so I can swim into my memories and feel calm- for the most part. And I am a hoarder of memories. I have mementos from school and church, things that remind me of friends or times I was happy and joyful. But I'll be a little bit specific and give examples that make my chest hurt and wish for a simpler time.

Sagebrush, it reminds me of playing with my cousins as a child out in the junkyard at my grandparents ranch. Racing past the speaker, playing in the fort, carefully weaving our way through the bush without being poked by the scraggly branches, seeing rabbits run away, "shopping" in the actual junk yard for neat treasures, admiring the carefully saved glass bottles grandpa kept

The color royal blue, it reminds me of middle school and being accepted into this weird group and finding a home in them even though I still felt a bit on the outside. Middle school was fun and light, carefree

Volleyball courts/nets/and balls, I have been involved in volleyball for a long time. Children recreation teams, middle school, and 1st year of high school until I quit and couldn't enter the gym to watch a match for 2 years because my heart ached that I wasn't on the court

You bet your buns it did. In fact that one was originally going to be a comic specifically because the idea for it was so visual. 

That one bit in the first/eighth(?) chapter where Kagami sees Aomine unconscious in the hospital and the weight of everything that he’s watched happen crashes over him... I even illustrated it before I wrote it (bearing in mind this was several years ago and my art skills were... heh)

9. Favorite season(s)?

I like a lot of stuff in the later seasons, but the first 5 are always going to be my favorites. Out of those, I would probably say season 2 and 5 are my faves as those have some of my favorite episodes.

13. Opinions on John?

Not a fan! He was not a good father and I would consider him abusive. (side note: I love JDM as an actor though.)

14. Favorite female character(s)?

God I love so many of the female characters but my faves would probably be Jo and Bela. I miss them. :(

21. One thing that irks you in the show?

Just one thing? Lol I’ll try not to turn this into a list of complaints. I’m a Dean stan but it really does irk me how the show, especially in the later seasons, tended to favor Dean. Not just in making him always in the right, but in giving him the more interesting storylines and not giving Sam a lot to do. That plus a lot of the decisions they made with Dean’s character in general. I tend to try to forget/ignore some stuff, but I get why there are Dean-critical people out there.

26. Best side character?

Again, there are a lot of characters I love, but I’m going to go back to Victor Henriksen. I’m always going to be sad we didn’t get to see more of him.

6. They don’t seem to sleep in Naples.

7. “Charlie, come on. Get up.” Meyer gives a cursory knock to Charlie’s closed bedroom door as he shuffles down the hall into their cramped kitchen to put on a pot of coffee.

1. why did you choose your url? I've been through 3 url changes on here, two from back when I was largely in the Katekyo Hitman Reborn fandom. I was rubyfiamma for the longest time. Ruby goes back to a really old mmorpg handle of mine (rubymax) and when i got into khr, I loved Gokudera so much that I made my first 59xRuby (59 being the fandom code for Gokudera) then rubyfiamma (ruby -= red, fiamma = flame which was the colour of Gokudera's storm flame). Now we're here, at ruluxe. I've shortened my name to just Ru and Luxe is a play off my last name irl. I'm older and needed a change so it's just. Me.
