So ive been obsessed with a skyrim dw crossover for a while and i made some concept art for it that i forgot to post

So timelords in this are actually dragons. In order from top to bottom theyre 12, 13, missy, dhawan master, and river.

Also clara and bill are dragonborn

Clara is a wood elf archer and bill is a redguard mage

Ive also given the doctor and master their own dragon names

The doctor is named Lokrutiid (lohk-roo-teed). The words of power i used were Lok (sky), Ru (run), and Tiid (time).

The master is named Althurtiid (Ahl-thoor-teed). The words of power are Al (destruction), Thur (master, overlord, tyrant), and Tiid (time).

I added lore that Akatosh, divine creator of the dragons, created Althurtiid and Lokrutiid as guardians of time as well as gifting them with direct control over time and the ability to manipulate it to their desire. This means they are able to clone past versions of themselves (because like timelords, dragons are immortal and able to come back from the dead).

Ive got a lot more lore than that but yeah thats what ive been up to.

Look I know what the canon timeline implies, okay. Missy before Spy. I get that.

But... there is something so fucking tragic about the idea of SpyMaster coming before Missy.

Hear me out.

Just imagine. Simm!Master goes through the portal to Gallifrey mid war in EoT. Shit happens, and he's the version who ends up finding out about the Timeless Child (because really why would the Master go back there after escaping post EoT?). He manages to escape, flees until his tardis crashes on a Mondassian ship. Events occur as per canon, etc etc, and he ends up being stabbed by Missy.

He's already pissed about the Timeless Child revelation, and even more so looking at a future version of himself who is in league with the Doctor by choice. And all of that rage manifests as SpyMaster in his regeneration.

The tardis gets thrown off course by his regeneration, and he ends up facing off against Thirteen, and now he's even Angrier because of course the Doctor survived the explosion on the Mondassian ship. Of course she did. Probably didn't even get singed. How unfair. And so, canon events, etc etc, he gets a final and visceral rejection of him by the Doctor, and all of those mixed, horribly confusing feelings result in Missy, who wants to FMK the Doctor on a rotating daily basis.

Readjusting the regen order this way adds an element of tragedy to Missy's "without witness, without remorse," lines, AND allows for a TV canon iteration of the Lumiat. Plus I just. The absolute rage that Simm!Master showed as he was dying with Missy, I can't really see that turning into the long-con game that Missy played with Twelve.

However, if we assume Simm -> Spy -> Missy, then that rage has a function.

We've seen already a thousand times that the Doctor's iterations are influenced by his previous regeneration, and that key aspects and emotions carry over through the regeneration process.

So, rage carried over from Simm to Spy, and then remorse/guilt/jealousy carried over from Spy to Missy.

Idk. I know that's not what canon implies, but to me it makes a lot of sense to view it that way.
