Hi hello! I have not finished a cross stitch in three years! 2024 is starting off very weird, I literally got this idea in my head two days ago. Made a pattern by eyeballing a screenshot, picked my colors, and 7 hours later I have a Starlo. My desk now has 100% more yeehaw on it.
I first learned about Undertale Yellow just a week ago, but I was so blown away by the characters! I like Starlo a lot, like him enough that he SHATTERED my hiatus like glass, something I didn’t think I’d ever see happen again.
I stitched him on 18ct aida because I can’t do over one on 28ct anymore, my eyes are fucked up. Also “red clashes with my colors” my ass, he looks great in this red frame I had lying around.
It’s so strange, something felt right the whole time I worked on him, and now it feels wrong that I’m not working on anything else yet. I’m not promising a renaissance, but given my circumstances, there’s a nonzero chance that I’ll be back to my needle on the regular after THREE YEARS of trying and failing to start or finish anything.
Merry Leap Yeap, let’s see what else 2024 has for me 👀
(Pattern available upon request)

I do love how Jekyll's just a big, sad looking dog. Like what do mean he caused hundreds of thousands in damages to the public infrastructure, hes just a big little guy🥺

I've been keeping a video diary for the past two years to help with my ruined 🌟 mental health 🌟 and I officially stopped on new years day this year, as it served its purpose perfectly and Oh My God I am loving not having to capture something everyday, it's been a big relief to just exist and let time flow without reminding myself to document anything. It was exactly what I needed in 2022 to help me reconnect with my physical body and recognise my face and see myself in my own life the way I needed it, and in 2023 it was perfect for capturing my joys and loved ones and everything I was grateful or proud of, and now I'm ready to just live organically and I am Loving not having to take a video everyday!! Ugh its so good.

I am team 'buck should have kept his facial scars from the tsunami'
I see what you mean and I agree with you at some level, but I think the point of him getting the cuts on his face was more for us to think about the blood thinners at all times, so they didn't think about committing to the possibility of facial scars, but I also think at some level the choice to just make them vanish was more about not forcing Oliver to forever have to sit in makeup for a few hours to give him scars every day, I think it was more of a matter of convenience. But it would be interesting, it is a bit of a pet peeve of mine the way characters never scar, like, Buck would have some of them for sure, and this could be interesting if they went for it.

A friend took me to Disney several times way back in middle school and every time we would look at the Massive stitch plushie but it was like $70+ so neither of us could buy it but a different old friend brought me to Disney a couple years after that and I finally bought it for myself. Anyways I’m thinking about it bc it’s massive and it’s on my bed rn instead of being between my bed and the wall it is just as big as it was in middle school all those years ago
