heyy if you're into kevin mckidd, there's a movie of his called "dog soldiers" and you can totally see the captain mactavish in him in that role (it's about some military guys trapped in the woods because they're being attacked by werewolves) and his superior in that movie reminds me so much of price it's almost like watching the movie of a horror au. if you haven't seen it, i really, really recommend it.

I saw the ask about hermits finishing their mega bases, and tbh for a while this morning I was thinking the same thing- Cleo just released an episode called “megabase complete”, and Gem had a similarly named episode a few days ago. But like you said, decked out 2 hasn’t happened, beef’s card game hasn’t launched, etc. A lot of the hermits, I think, are heading towards an end, but I think it’s a while away. I feel like we’re headed towards the details era of megabases and shops, if that makes sense

yeah i think people are on pace to like, have whatever the first part of their big project is/first big project done. as you said, gem and cleo both released episodes claiming to have finished their megabases, but as best i can tell they both still have work to do, and there's a LOT of stuff that really super isn't done yet. i think this is paced more like an older season - a lot of people will finish their first projects and jump to another project now, a lot of other people with huge-r projects will stick to that project. like... we're in latter half of season seven territory i think, not "end of a season" territory, but that's just the vibe i get personally!
