So funny how y'all keep saying you want more rights for actors and for them to have more say in what they're doing etc etc until it comes to Jenna Ortega or Rachel Ziegler or any other strong, optionated young female actress.
It's "fuck Disney" until Rachel Ziegler starts sharing her opinion on Snow White then suddenly she's "lucky to even be casted by Disney" and "disparaging a classic story". Are y'all really that attached to a 70yr old movie or do you hate that it's a young woman who's talking about it?
It's "actors should have more say in what they're doing" until Jenna Ortega critiques the script written for her and questions the characterization of her role then it's "she should know her place and shut up, how dare any actress talk to the director like that"
I know it might make you a little uncomfy to see young women being so outwardly opinionated and strong but it's ok bud, it's normal for women to have opinions, you're just a big baby who's scared of strong women

Linked Universe College Radio AU
Since I recently got some motivation to work on this one, I figured I would brain dump a little about my LU College Radio AU. It's basically a college/university AU but each of the main LU Links are somehow associated with their college radio station at Kakariko University.
Why radio? I was listening to The Oh Hellos when the idea struck me so each of the works are hopefully going to have titles taken from Oh Hellos songs. This will, hopefully, just mostly focus on the Links + the radio station but who knows? I added way too many characters to this braindump but oh well
The Links
Time
Staff coordinator for the radio station
Broadcasting professor
Usually gets stuck teaching the freshman and sophomores
Married to the zoology professor, Malon
Taking care of Twilight's dog, Wolfie, until Twilight finds a dog-friendly place. Acts like he hates it, but he actually loves it
Infamous for being a hardass
"Call me Time. Don't call me Link, that's my nephew. Don't call me Professor Lon, that's my wife"
Legend
Has done just about anything and everything
Knows everyone, but just because he's been here so long and has done so much

Some Others:
Malon

Everyone loves her
Ravio:
Legend's partner
Business major
Has a bird named Sheerow who poops everywhere
Despite this he is the cleanest one in the apartment
Constantly roping Legend into new business ideas
Used to run a shop out of his and Legend's dorm room when they lived in the dorms together. Legend's pretty sure it was against the rules. Ravio doesn't care
Acts greedy, but is actually living off his loans
Never goes home. He goes over Legend's Uncle's house for holidays now.
His younger sister, Hilda, often sleeps over and Legend and Ravio's
Has a horrible relationship with his father, Yuga
Sidon, Mipha, Revali, Yunobo:
Wild's housemates alongside Twilight and Age
Revali claims he's the only reason the house hasn't burned down
Revali is also one of Teba and Saki's adopted children, and had a bit of a superiority complex over being adopted first (he was there first) when they were kids. He's gotten better, but he's still a bit of a jerk to Wild. He and Age have bonded over Wild constantly giving them heart attacks
Sidon is a sophomore political science major who is super friendly, but has a hard time stopping conversations. Head over heels for his girlfriend, Yona. Is also super tall and often mistaken for being the older sibling
Mipha is a senior nursing student. Sidon's older sister, Age's girlfriend. If there's a medical emergency, chances are the Links are calling Mipha first even though they really should go to the hospital instead
Revali is a senior aviation major and hopes to join the air force after college to "get away from the filth" (meaning Age and Wild. He would never call Tulin filth)
Yunobo is a sophomore geoscience major. Works at his grandpa's coffee shop, Goron City Coffee
Urbosa, Daruk, Riju:
Urbosa is Riju's aunt and and mother figure to Flora and Fauna. She lives in Castle City, but often comes to Kakariko to give guest lectures. She's a businesswoman
Daruk is Yunobo's grandpa who owns Goron City Coffee. He often lets the radio host events at his coffee shop, and acts like a father figure for Wild's friend group
Riju is a freshman business major who wants to be like her aunt, Urbosa. Flora and Fauna see her as their younger sister.
Teba, Saki, Tulin:
Revali was adopted first, then Age and Wild
Teba is retired from being in the military
Saki teaches private singing lessons
Tulin is the Baby of the family and is in middle school. He is an absolute terror. Never let Wild babysit him, they will both get into trouble. Tulin is everyone's favorite and Tulin will use that to his advantage
Ilia:
Twilight's friend who helps run the Helpful Paws club
She has a huge crush on Twilight but doesn't want to overstep, especially after the bad break up with Midna
Rusl, Uli, Colin:
Twilight's family in Ordon who adopted him when he was about 8
Colin's just starting high school and is dealing with a lot of bullying, so he calls Twilight often for help
Rusl is a detective, but he's on paternity leave right now since Uli just had their daughter
Grandpa Smith:
Four and Shadow's grandpa
Took them both in after their mother died and Vaati went to prison
Four was usually a good kid, but Shadow was a little terror
Lives in Kakariko City so he gets to see his boys often
Cia and Lana:
Twins who both had huge crushes on Warriors
Cia got jealous when Wars started dating Lana
Cia is a psychology major, but now is largely known as the campus creep
Lana was a fashion design major, but changed schools after the drama with Warriors happened
Groose:
Sky and Sun's roommate and fellow host of The Loftwings
Proudly boasts that he's their best man
Also a senior aviation major

Zawe Ashton Rewrites Regency-core
The "Mr. Malcolm's List" actress on finally being invited to the table of period pieces, and her upcoming Marvel debut.
Tumblr media
Zawe Ashton is back in her favorite city, New York, sitting in a room at the Plaza Hotel having just finished a long day of interviews. Her latest film, the Regency-era rom-com “Mr. Malcolm’s List,” will open in the U.S. on Friday (at the premiere on Wednesday she’ll reveal to the world that she and her fiancé, Tom Hiddleston, are expecting a baby), before an August premiere in the U.K., but she’s relishing this moment in the Big Apple, marveling at the film’s birth.
“It’s surreal that it’s coming out at all,” Ashton says, feet tucked underneath her as she sits on the room’s bed. “This film is a low-budget film; it was a labor of love for so many people. Everyone who came aboard did it for the passion, not for the paycheck. And so I knew that we’d made something really lovely, but I didn’t ever expect that we’d be here in New York with the costumes displayed at Saks Fifth Avenue and there being this kind of real buzz around it, you know? It’s lovely.”
“Mr. Malcolm’s List,” which was shot in Dublin during the second lockdown of 2021, is in many ways a little movie that could; it originated as a proof-of-concept short film a few years ago but struggled to find funding to be made into a feature. Then came “Bridgerton” and everything changed.
Tumblr media
“I think that created green lights going off across so many different production companies and [‘Mr. Malcolm’s List’] was one of them,” Ashton says.
She was a last-minute addition to the casting, after a few other actors dropped out due to scheduling.
“I got a phone call saying, ‘there’s the script from ‘Mr. Malcolm’s List,’ it’s part of this exciting new wave of Regency work and they need an answer by tomorrow morning,’” Ashton recalls. “It worked really well for me because I’m prone to overthinking and I just had to zone straight in on all of the very primal elements of the project. And the meeting of rom-com and Regency romance, two genres that I love, the intersection of the two of them is even more delicious. The character, the ensemble that was assembled, the opportunity to amplify a first-time female feature director were all green flags. And so in 24 hours I was headed to Dublin.
While doing a Regency film might seem like a given for a British actor, Ashton says it’s not been the case for actors of color until recently — and she’s been eagerly awaiting her chance.
“I grew up like so many British people reading and studying the Jane Austens and the Brontës and the Dickens of the world, and those landscapes are part of your DNA in a way, and you do imagine yourself inside of those roles and inside of those landscapes. I was always aware that there was a real chasm between where my imagination could go and where the scope of the filmic interpretations were,” she says. “So it’s always been quite sad that I’ve never really been invited to the table to partake in the Regency-core and the period drama scene that dominates so much of our TV and film in the U.K. I don’t know, if it takes a lockdown and Shonda Rhimes to change that, then fantastic.
“But I think it was already starting to change,” she continues. “I had really enjoyed ‘David Copperfield’ with Dev Patel. I was extremely excited to see Jodie Turner-Smith taking on a role like Anne Boleyn, and now we have ‘The Gilded Age.’ So there were rumblings, but you need the juggernaut. It’s like with ‘Black Panther,’ we hadn’t necessarily seen a huge Marvel movie with that level of representation and the fact that it not only was a wonderful story, but it made money has opened so many doors. It’s a shame we’ve all had to wait so long. I know myself, Freida Pinto and Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù, who were all in the movie and it’s our first ever period piece, all feel the same: there’s a sadness in it having taken so long, but also a real pride in being able to create this work now.”
Her character, Julia, is one you can’t help but root for, even as she makes several less-than-earnest choices along the way. Ashton delights in playing an antihero, she says, and will once again take on the trope when she makes her Marvel debut next year in “The Marvels,” playing the villain in the Nia DaCosta-directed film (the first Marvel movie from a Black female director, who will also be the youngest Marvel director ever.)
Tumblr media
“I’ve loved it. I’ve loved every single second. I did not expect it to happen,” Ashton says of joining the Marvel world. “It came out of an opportunity inspired by a real connection with Nia DaCosta, again another fledgling female director. And I just had an intentionality, I think from the end of 2019 where I just thought, ‘I just want to be of service as much as possible in my work. And one of the ways I can do that is to amplify fledgling female filmmaking talent.’”
She and DaCosta Zoomed at the height of the pandemic and bonded, oddly enough, over their love of period pieces and Jane Austen.
“I just threw everything at it,” she says of the role. “I don’t have any expectations of what it will or won’t be. I just know that I’ve played the female antagonist in a fantasy movie. And that feels like a real tick off the bucket list. And I’ve helped the first ever Black woman direct a Marvel movie. And that feels satisfying enough for now, you know?”
And playing a Marvel antagonist is rather fun, it turns out.
“It’s such a theme in my work: I’m never the romantic lead, I’m always just like the edgy one on the side,” she says with a laugh. “I love it. I love an antihero’s journey. I’ve always been drawn to those characters in literature and in film, and in art generally. I would prefer to love someone despite their flaws than be led into the more obvious likable characters. And to play, you get to leave your ego at the door. You get to not worry about being liked. You get to just really play the truth of someone’s experience, and people are messy. Life is messy. I feel like a real sense of achievement if I’ve managed to create a character with deep flaws that people still end up rooting for.” (x)

Dear associates, I am now going to watch all the Gmmtv 2023 mock trailers and express opinions on them.
Enigma
Warning for anyone else with sensory issues, there was a moment involving nails on glass that felt and sounded really uncomfortable. Not a fan of horror so probably won’t be tuning in, but the school setting could be interesting considering the problems surrounding the Thai education system.
A Boss and a Babe
Choices have been made picking an English title for this show but I like a band called Bump of chicken so I am immune this. I haven’t watched Enchante yet so this trailer is going to be my introduction to Forcebook. It was a cute introduction! No one is wearing a school uniform! Not sure what the plot is yet but might tune in to support my fellow boomers in bl.
Find Yourself
The heterosexual community is also making their contribution to the office romance genre. I kinda like this type of age gap romance, ngl. Looks like a well-intentioned show for ballad loving moms.
Double Savage
I wasn’t concentrating. Ohm plays a misunderstood character. Everyone is angry. Everyone has a gun. Moving on!
Hidden Agenda
I wasn’t concentrating again. This is a lot of trailers! I don’t know who these guys are. I am probably not the target audience. Moving on!
23.5
Stop the press!!!! I actually cried a bit when the trailer dropped, it was a spontaneous reaction. I was pretty sure this was coming because they’ve been teasing it for so long, but still. It’s real!!! And it looks so good!! Just checked and the director is a woman. I couldn’t be happier. Love the insecurity, love the status gap. Love that it’s simple and feels true. Though Milk as a nobody is bizarre to me, girl I would’ve been obsessed with you haha.
เพราะเธอคือรักแรก
Phowaa thöö khyy rak rääk, do you love my Finnish transliteration of Thai language. Is the English title gonna be Because you’re my first love? Is that the girl from the first trailer? That guy is very tall. There’s Neo, he’s everywhere. As he should bc he’s really good. I don’t know what happened in this trailer. Moving on!
Cooking Crush
Offgun have paired up again. They aren’t new to kitchen disasters, this feels very appropriate. Is this going to be a comedy? There’s Neo again. I just watched him and this other guy in the Only Friends trailer where they shot a sex tape, it’s wild being a bl viewer. I like the last scene. I’m easy to please, I’ll probably watch this.
Wednesday Crush
Ohm has reunited with a gun. My attention span is wandering off again. Is that bisexual lighting. I’ll watch if they provide an appropriate number of bisexuals to go with the lighting.
Last Twilight
You can immediately tell this is by p’Aof, it has that vibe. The story feels a lot more fleshed out than a lot of the others. I’ll probably watch for the director but I’m honestly not entirely sold on the casting. You need a certain type of presence to carry this type of story and I’m not sure if these actors have it but time will tell. At least Ayan’s mom is there collecting her paycheck. Namtan’s five seconds of screentime distracted me.
Loneliness Society
This feels a bit like the movie While You Were Sleeping. I like that movie! Probably won’t watch this though unless I run out of study material. I love Janhae, give her roles I can actually watch please.
Only Friends
Stop the press!!!!! I am screaming. I am laughing. I am pressing watch again. I am insane. I love the mess that is Friendzone, I am the target audience of this show. The ensemble is great, I’m already sensing so many vibes and moods. During The Eclipse I kept thinking how I want to see Neo, First and Khaotung explore different roles because they have a lot of potential and range, so I’m super excited to see them and the others take on these characters who maybe aren’t always universally likable or do the right thing!!! And I enjoy that everyone in the group is fucking around and finding out because some bl viewers can be quite strange about your fave even shaking hands with someone they’re not selling mascara with. Though having said that I do maybe want Firstkhao’s characters to end up together even if one or both of them are messy people because their chemistry is just that great so who am I to cast the first stone haha.
Faceless Love
So many trailers. Everyone is tired of me including myself. The tall guy from the other trailer is face blind now. I just realised this is an adaptation of Rich Man Poor Woman with Oguri Shun. Moving on!
Dangerous Romance
A new bl pairing with established names, hooray! Unfortunately, mathematics are involved. I can tell this will be on my dash and I’ll probably end up watching this. I like the dynamic, it feels lived-in.
The Jungle
We are at the club once again enjoying some bisexual lighting. I am naming myself Hippo and moving on.
Midnight Museum Not sure what the plot here is but the vibe stands out from the rest. Gun, Namtan and others are participating in rituals at Tor Thanapob's house. Tor's drink has caught fire.
Our Skyy 2
This is my fever dream and my greatest fear. I want them back but I’m so scared.
Beauty Newbie
I understood nothing. Moving on!
The Interest
This is the last one. I’ve watched so many people get beaten up tonight. We are at the club. I'm not a huge Bright enthusiast so I’m not gonna finish this trailer I’m afraid.

Here he gives another demonstration of homo sapiens’ superiority over the sauropod brain. His foe here is a heavily armored “Flatback” dino. New character Jack, the “Enforcer,” carries a rocket launcher. Ortega is an all-rounder type assault she can equip a shotgun in place of her pistol if she wants.Īmir, a commando-type, can call in an impressive orbital strike when the chips are down. Paleobiologists haven’t gotten down to the surface to study one yet. This is an “Acid Raptor.” That’s not its actual taxonomic designation. Image: Systemic Reaction/Avalanche Studios Group The Flatback is a spikier, tougher, mutated ankylosaurus.

Meantime, Xbox One and Xbox Series X may play together. But the two communities will not begin any kind of cross-play until later Vickers gave September as a window.
Second extinction weapon skins Pc#
The Xbox Game Preview version coming this week has a matching content drop on Steam, called Preseason 4, and the console game is heavily informed by what Systemic Reaction’s PC community has been doing so far, Vickers said. Systemic Reaction wants to build up a strong sense of a world where humans, who escaped to orbit to flee the tyrannosaur tyranny, face a dynamic threat on the ground, with a feeling of gained or lost momentum. Second Extinction therefore needs a lot of players hammering away at the the game. So the idea is that, even though these are kind of very scripted missions, they change from week to week, play session to play session in interesting ways.” That will introduce extra challenges, which could have unique objectives and slight twists. So if you see a lot of players failing in a lot of areas, then that will increase dinosaur presence. “Twice a week, the players’ actions will be tallied up, where they’ve succeeded at things, where they’ve failed,” Vickers, Second Extinction’s game director, told me. The ‘war effort’ on Xbox Series X needs a lot of players, says Second Extinction’s director Random encounters get a lot more frequent in areas of greater dinosaur activity, and in extreme infestations, players can face random firefights bigger than the boss battle awaiting them in the story. That can alter where the player’s fireteam of three begins its operations, and the order in which they might tackle some objectives. A place with a lot of action, even if human players are prevailing, can get marked as too dangerous for the orbital drop that begins a mission series. It’s called the “war effort,” which is an ongoing meta-game in Second Extinction where parts of the map get more or less dangerous and dinosaur-infested depending on how players themselves have performed there.

What drives a lot of that action, Vickers explained, is the reason why Second Extinction launched six months ago for Windows PC on Steam Early Access, in advance of another preliminary run with Xbox Game Preview beginning April 28. Developers Simon Vickers and Anaïs Palm took me on a tour this past Wednesday, with a rather meaty mission chapter that provided 60 minutes of fast-paced action, and multiple firefights that ended thigh-deep in dino remains. It matches the how-am-I-still-standing relentlessness of Doom and Left 4 Dead with production values just as strong, an emphasis on cooperative play, and a larger meta-game affecting the world’s sizable map. Give developer Systemic Reaction some credit, though Second Extinction, originally announced for Xbox Series X a year ago, is not formulaic. In the case of this game, it’s dinosaurs and a first-person shooter. The elevator pitch for Second Extinction might sound like a kid’s breakfast cereal ad, wherein two awesome, yet disparate things unite to form one big, even more awesome thing.

Ol*v*a is who she is
I've been wanting to sort out some topic for a long time and now I'm finally doing it.
For those who have forgotten who she really is, and that it is not worth supporting her at all. Proof that this person absolutely does not represent the interests that he allegedly defends for women.
An "incredibly talented" actress, director, FEMINIST and ACTIVIST. The same "feminist" who is friends and supports the following people in every possible way: James Brown, Terry Richardson, Woody Allen and Harvey Weinstein.
What unites all these people? Each of them was involved in rape or abuse of women.
There is nothing wrong with being a fan of a particular singer and loving his music, BUT it is worth studying his past and biography in general so as not to be called out later, especially if you are a feminist
Tumblr media
1. James Brown. He was repeatedly accused of mistreatment of women, domestic violence against his wives and children. For which he was in prison. You can learn more from these articles:
2. Terry Richardson. A famous photographer who has worked with many models and celebrities, as well as on red carpets. Quite a funny character to transform into him on Halloween, as well as to have friendly relations. It would seem that this is such a big deal?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He was repeatedly accused of sexual harassment of his clients (about 15 women). He was later suspended from work. I thought that feminists despise such people, or do I not understand something? Read more in the article:
3. Woody Allen. A good director and so on.It would seem what's the matter here. But it turned out that he was accused several times of raping his adopted daughter.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Everything is fine, but the so-called "feminist" still continues to support him. Wow, is this a new kind of advocacy for women's rights?Read more in the article:
4. Well, my favorite.Harvey Weinstein. A very good and close friend of our "respected feminist", who is still trying to protect him. Even though he offered her sex in troy. That's friendship, wow. In the past, a director who very much abused his fucking power. In general, about 80 women accused Weinstein of rape, but it was possible to bring him to court only in a few cases.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
One of Harvey's victims, Cara Delevingne, told her story of a terrible experience "with an outstanding" director:
“When I first started to work as an actress, i was working on a film and I received a call from‎ Harvey Weinstein asking if I had slept with any of the women I was seen out with in the media. It was a very odd and uncomfortable call….i answered none of his questions and hurried off the phone but before I hung up, he said to me that If I was gay or decided to be with a woman especially in public that I’d never get the role of a straight woman or make it as an actress in Hollywood,” she wrote on Instagram on Wednesday.
instagram
“A year or two later, I went to a meeting with him in the lobby of a hotel with a director about an upcoming film. The director left the meeting and Harvey asked me to stay and chat with him. As soon as we were alone he began to brag about all the actresses he had slept with and how he had made their careers and spoke about other inappropriate things of a sexual nature. He then invited me to his room. I quickly declined and asked his assistant if my car was outside. She said it wasn’t and wouldn’t be for a bit and I should go to his room,” she went on.
“At that moment I felt very powerless and scared but didn’t want to act that way hoping that I was wrong about the situation,” Delevingne continued. “When I arrived I was relieved to find another woman in his room and thought immediately I was safe. He asked us to kiss and she began some sort of advances upon his direction. I swiftly got up and asked him if he knew that I could sing. And I began to sing….i thought it would make the situation better….more professional….like an audition….i was so nervous. After singing I said again that I had to leave. He walked me to the door and stood in front of it and tried to kiss me on the lips. I stopped him and managed to get out of the room. I still got the part for the film and always thought that he gave it to me because of what happened. Since then I felt awful that I did the movie. I felt like I didn’t deserve the part. I was so hesitant about speaking out….I didn’t want to hurt his family. I felt guilty as if I did something wrong. I was also terrified that this sort of thing had happened to so many women I know but no one had said anything because of fear.”
The behavior and actions of a true feminist who really fights for women's rights and defends their interests, right?!
Although what else can you expect from a woman who (probably to cover up her self-doubt and other shortcomings) shames other women for how they look.Mocks their bodies and looks. She mocks girls with plastic surgeries, although her face is practically bursting from a huge number of botox injections and fillers.
Well, how could I forget about that FEMINIST video
Yes, very good advice, especially for young girls who want to break through to the top. Showing them that this is the only way you can achieve something, is to spread your legs as wide as possible? Honey, if that's all YOU'RE capable of, that's another conversation, but don't advise it to novice models or actresses, and in principle any girl. And don't talk about the power pose. This is a completely different pose, which does not fit with her words at all, google it and find out. Even if it's a joke, it's immoral and not funny at all. Any woman who respects herself and her morals will not joke like that, but probably everything is different here. Choose further who you support and who you don't. I've said everything

I recently came across a bunch of press articles and photos about Oscar Isaac that are so old, they appear to be out-of-print and pre-date social media. Considering they were probably never digitally transcribed for internet access, I’m guessing that the majority of current fans have never seen this stuff.
Even though a lot of these digital scans are challenging to read because they are the original fuzzy news print, I think there some gems worth sharing with you guys. Over the next several weeks, I will transcribe and share those gems on this page. Hope you enjoy them!
Let’s start with this fantastic 2001 profile piece done before Oscar was accepted into Juilliard:
Tumblr media
South Florida’s rising star isn’t just acting the part
By Christine Dolen - [email protected]
February 4, 2001
Tumblr media
As fifth-graders at Westminster Christian School in Miami, Oscar Isaac and his classmates were asked to write a story as if they were animals on Noah’s Ark. Oscar turned in a seven-page play – with original music – from the perspective of a platypus. Then he starred in the production his teacher directed.
He hasn’t stopped expressing himself creatively since. Today, Isaac is one of South Florida’s busiest young theater actors, and certainly its hottest. And not just because he’s a slender five-feet nine-inches tall with an expressively handsome face and glistening brown eyes.
Since making his professional debut as a Cuban hustler in Sleepwalkers at Area Stage in July 1999, he has played an explosive Vietnam vet in Private Wars for Horizons Repertory, a pot-smoking slacker in This Is Our Youth at GableStage, another Cuban on the make in Praying With the Enemy at the Coconut Grove Playhouse, the entrancing narrator of Side Man at GableStage, a Havana-based writer in Arrivals and Departures for the new Oye Rep and, most recently, a young Fidel Castro in When It’s Cocktail Time in Cuba at New York’s Cherry Lane Theater.
Tumblr media
Beginning Wednesday, he’ll be juggling five roles in City Theatre’s annual Winter Shorts festival, first at the Colony Theatre in Miami Beach, then at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. But that is not all: During the two weeks he is doing Winter Shorts, he’ll also be playing dates with the punk-ska band The Blinking Underdogs (www.blinkingunderdogs.com), which features him as lead singer, guitarist and songwriter.
Oh, and he just got back from auditioning for New York’s prestigious Juilliard School of Drama.
All this for a guy a month shy of his 22nd birthday.
Sure, you could hate a guy who’s that talented, that charismatic, that transparently ambitious. But the people who have worked with Oscar Isaac don’t. On the contrary, they’re all sure he has it – that magical, can’t-be-taught thing that transforms an actor into a star.
Playwright Eduardo Machado, who put in a good word for Isaac at Juilliard, says “he does have that star quality that makes your eyes go to him. It’s great that someone with that talent still wants to train.”
“He has a star quality that’s rare in a young actor,” adds Joseph Adler, who directed him in Side Man and This Is Our Youth. “Without a doubt I expect to be hearing great things from him.”
‘I JUST LOVE CREATING’
Isaac, who also makes short films, can’t say exactly why he was attracted to acting. He just knows it makes him happier than anything, that it’s what he was meant to do. And he’s been doing it since he was a 4-year-old putting on plays in his family’s backyard with his sister Nicole.
“I just love creating, whether it’s music or films or a character on a stage. I love taking people for a ride,” he says. “In Side Man, every night I would love being that close to the audience. I felt like I was talking to 80 of my closest friends.
“I could feel what the audience was feeling.”
His powerful, mournful-yet-loving monologue near the end of the play, he said, “worked every night. I knew it would get them. I’d hear sniffles.
“But it had less to do with me than with the atmosphere [created by the playwright and director].”
You could understand if Isaac, surrounded as he is by praise and possibility, had an ego as burgeoning as his career. Instead, he channels the positive reinforcement into confidence about his work.
“He has such a charm and an ease onstage, but he’s very modest,” says New York-based actress Judith Delgado, who shared the stage with Isaac in Side Man. “He’s hungry. He’s got moxie. I was blown away by him.
“He saved me a couple of times. I went up [forgot a line] and that baby boy of mine came through. He’s a joy.”
FORGING HIS OWN PATH
The son of a Cuban-American father and a Guatemalan mother, Isaac was never a stellar student. But he found ways of turning routine assignments – like the Noah’s Ark story – into creative challenges.
His science reports were inevitably video documentaries underscored with punk music. He acted through middle and high school, though he had a falling out with his drama teacher at Santaluces Community High in Lantana over his misgivings about a character. When she refused to cast him in anything else, he got his English teacher to let him play the dentist in Little Shop of Horrors his senior year.
His skepticism about authority and love of playing the devil’s advocate have long made him resist doing things the usual way. His post-high school “training” consisted of one semester at Miami-Dade Community College’s South Campus (where he met his girlfriend, Maria Miranda), touring schools playing an abusive character in the Coconut Grove Playhouse’s Breaking the Cycle, and working as a transporter of bodies at Baptist Hospital, where he absorbed the drama of people in emotionally intense situations.
“It was the most magnificent dramatic institute I could’ve attended,” Isaac said. “I was able to observe the entire spectrum of human emotion, people under the most extreme duress. I was mesmerized watching the way people interacted with each other in such heightened situations.
“I learned everything about the human condition, and it was real and harsh and brutally honest.”
Yet even given his propensity for forging his own path, something nudged him another direction while he was in New York making his Off-Broadway debut in December. Walking by Juilliard one day, he impulsively went in to ask for an application. Though the application deadline had passed, Isaac persuaded Juilliard to accept his, noting in his application essay that most of the exceptional actors he admires had acquired “a brutally efficient technique” to enhance their talent by studying at places like Juilliard.
Though he won’t know whether he has been accepted until the end of this month, his audition last weekend went well, he says. He did monologues from Henry IV, Part I and Dancing at Lughnasa, adjusting his Shakespearean Hotspur to a more fiery temperature at the suggestion of Michael Kahn, head of Juilliard’s acting program – though not without arguing that Hotspur wouldn’t be speaking to the king that way.
Isaac, not surprisingly, loves a good debate.
Adler, GableStage’s artistic director and a man who is as liberal as Isaac once was conservative, savored the verbal jousting they did during rehearsals for Side Man.
“He knows exactly how to pull my chain,” Adler says with a laugh. “Intelligence is the cornerstone of all great actors, and he’s bright as hell.
“He has relentless ambition but with so much charm. He’s very hard to say no to. He has incredible raw talent and magnetism that is very rare in a young actor along with relentless energy, perseverance and ambition. I see his growth both onstage and off. He’s mature in both places.”
Tumblr media
Part of his growth, of course, will necessarily involve dealing with the rejections that are part of any actor’s life. His career is still too new, his string of successes solid, so it’s anyone’s guess how failure will shape him. But director Michael John Garcés, who picked him for When It’s Cocktail Time in Cuba after Isaac flew to New York at his own expense to compete with a pool of seasoned Manhattan actors for the role, believes his character will see him through.
“Oscar is realistic, but he’s so willing to go the whole nine yards,” Garcés says. “He didn’t go out when he was in the show here. His focus earned the respect of the other actors, some of whom have been working in New York for 30 years.
“He hasn’t had a lot of blows yet, when the career knocks the wind out of you. But he has talent, determination and focus, and if he has perseverance – my intuition is that he does have it – he could achieve a lot.”
FAMILY TIES
His father and namesake, Baptist Hospital intensive-care physician Oscar Isaac Hernandez, couldn’t be more proud. (Isaac doesn’t use the family surname in order to avoid, in his words, being “put in that Hispanic actor box.”)
“I’m ecstatic that he’s probably going to be going to the most prestigious drama school in the United States,” he says. “School will help him focus his energies and give him discipline. He’s got the raw material and the drive.”
Isaac’s mother, Maria, divorced from his father since 1992, is a kidney-transplant recipient who acknowledges that she’ll miss her son if he moves to New York. But, she adds, she wants him “to live out his dreams. He amazes me every day. He calls me every day. I’m very proud of him.”
Even the other guys in The Blinking Underdogs are fans of Isaac’s acting, though it could take him away from South Florida just as the band appears to be, Isaac says, on the brink of signing a recording deal (it has already put out its own CD, The Last Word, with songs, lead vocals and even cover photography by Isaac.
“Oscar’s the leader of the band, a great musician who amazes me and motivates us,” says sax player Keith Cooper. “I’ve been to see every one of his plays. He’s a phenomenal actor.
“I completely buy into his role in every play. As close as I am to him, I forget it’s Oscar.”
His South Florida theater colleagues credit that to Isaac’s insatiable desire to learn and grow.
Gail Garrisan, who is directing him in Donnie and One of the Great Ones for Winter Shorts, observes, “It’s not often that you find a young actor who is willing to listen and who doesn’t think he knows everything. He loves the work.
“He really brought the young man in Side Man to life. When I saw it in New York, it seemed to be the father’s play. When I saw it here, I felt it was his [Isaac’s] play.”
Oye Rep’s John Rodaz, whom Isaac calls “the best director I’ve ever worked with,” gave the actor his first important job in Sleepwalkers at Area Stage. They met when Isaac came to see Area’s production of Oleanna and the actor, knowing Rodaz ran the theater, introduced himself.
“He has so much energy and such a sparkling personality,” Rodaz says. “He knows how to move in the world. He seems to take advantage of every situation in a good way; he’s not a cold, calculating person who’ll stab you in the back.
“[But] he wants it so badly. Everything he does, he’s the leader. When I was 21, I was taking naps.”
Rodaz coached Isaac on his Juilliard monologues and found the experience energizing.
“I got chills just watching him. That happens so rarely. I was so exhilarated when I came home that I just had to go out and run. You just know he’s got all the tools.”
Christine Dolen is The Herald’s theater critic.

Best movies that you must watch before you die:
Tumblr media
When it comes to the best content movies, no one can beat Bollywood. So here is the list of movies that you must watch bollywood movies before You die. It has hit the Bollywood and world’s largest film industry Hollywood in terms of output and each. There are billions of diehard fans worldwide who love to watch Indian movies based on different genres. We have a great collection of outstanding performance-based movies from historical drama, true stories, inspiring stories, and many more. I am going to share some must watch Bollywood movies that can change your life. Let’s start
You must watch Bollywood Movies from different genres:
Badla
Tumblr media
Badla film was adorned with Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachan. Taapsee played the role of a murderer who murdered her lover, but she claims that she did not do it. The story exposes the murder mystery and Badal Gupta (Amitabh Bachchan), a lawyer by Naina Sethi (Tapsee Pannu), trying to guess the real killer and their motive.
Badla types of movies are the turning point that has changed the concept of conventional Bollywood movies because women are the heroes of this film. The main motive of this movie is to show a ruthless successful businesswoman and give a poignant statement. However, it is one of the tremendous must watch Bollywood movies that successfully grabbed audiences’ attention.
Kahaani
Tumblr media
Vidya Balan starrer Kahaani is a captivating thriller from start to end, and Vidya proved her ability yet again by single-handedly carrying the film forward on her firm shoulders. Most of all think that Bollywood movies revolve around male characters, and males have been prominent in almost all movies.
The film shows an attack of poisonous gas in the Kolkata metro and leaves thousands of dead. Vidya Bagchi (Vidya Balan), who played the role of pregnant software engineer, travels to India from London searching for her missing husband, Arnab Bagchi.
See the list of 10 most underrated Hindi Movies
It shows the struggle of a pregnant woman who exposes the involvement of the intelligence department in the matter, and the entire story is even more complicated and dense. In this story, the murder of every person who tried to help Vidya created a sense of fear in her, but she fought bravely for her unborn child and a missing husband.
A Wednesday
Tumblr media
In this movie, Naseeruddin Shah played the role of “The Common Man and Anupam Kher play the role of “Prakash Rathod, Commissioner of Mumbai Police. One dialog that audiences cannot forget was, “I don’t want you to associate any religion to what I am doing.” Are you curious to know how it is different from the rest of other Bollywood movies?
It shows the power of a “common man” who doesn’t succumb to the system. No movie showed a “common man” power before; that’s why it is counted as one of the best movies yet. In the pipeline of must watch bollywood movies, I will give space it also.
Rang De Basanti
Tumblr media
Rang de Basanti is one of the must watch bollywood movies before you die that is something every youth related to them. Have you noticed what has changed in our country? We can say one thing that changes is the government.
The film was successful showed the hurt and anger that the youth of the nation feels to see corruption snatching their lives. We can learn one thing from this movie that we can’t solve all matters through violence.
Pink
Tumblr media
If you still have not watched the movie ‘ Pink,’ it is the right time to enjoy the film with your entire family, giving a profound message to society. Whenever a rape incident happens in the city, people talk about the victim’s relationship with the attacker, the time of the day, and the victim’s dress.
The timid middle class immediately heaves a sigh of relief that they know the girl was drunk and skimpily dressed. They think about why she needs to go outside late at night. This nonsense ideology strips the rapist of all blame. Our middle class feels that rapes are common for those women whose dresses are seductive or drunk. The movie challenges the deepest remnants of feudal ideology. You must watch bollywood movie to help us have a world with a better relationship based on mutual respect and love.
Tumbbad
Tumblr media
Maybe you are one of them who want to know the best horror movie ever made in India that is the perfect combination of wonders and horrible components. One such movie is the horror-thrilled Tumbbad that keeps you up all night. Instead of showing strike fear of the monster, Tumbbad makes you aware of the devil inside us humans. The ending of every horror movie should be pleasant, and Tumbbad was successful about it.
3 Idiots
Tumblr media
Movies like 3 Idiots have exposed the structure of education, which shows how things are imposed on the youth and what they want to do is ignored. Aamir Khan is portrayed throughout the film as a magical boy who does not panic in any situation and finds a quick solution to it.
The story keeps you hooked in every part and gives the message to do what your heart tells you; you can succeed in that. It is a perfect combination of emotions and comedy from commence to end. It is one of the must watch Bollywood movies in Indian cinema history.
Shahid
Tumblr media
Rajkumar Rao starrer Shahid is a Hindi-language biographical drama film directed by Hansal Mehta. If you are tired of watching classic Hindi movies, I think Shahid is for you. The movie shows a lawyer character who was arrested on allegations of conspiring against the state in 1994.
Shahid helps those people who are accused of terrorism. In his short tenure, he got 17 acquittals for his clients. The Supreme Court has acquitted Fahim Ansari from the allegation of the 2008 terror attacks in Mumbai after Shahid’s death, and Shahid proved in a lower court that there is not sufficient evidence against Ansari. The film shows how innocent people are sent to jail while they did not commit that crime.
Taare Zameen Par
Tumblr media
It is one of the movies that not only entertain but also aware you. The purpose of this film is to reflect the attitude of parents towards their children, the expectations they have and the shortcomings in the attitude shown by this film. The film is adorned with actors like Aamir Khan and Darsheel Safari.
In this film, Aamir portrays the role of a teacher who not only forces his children to study out of fear of being hit with a stick, but also teaches a great deal to the children in sports. I think every parent must watch this movie.
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
Tumblr media
Director Zoya Akhtar has portrayed the place of friends in life, their importance, and their need. The story of the film is exciting and straightforward as well. Through the movie ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara,’ the stars have tried to bring the fun of life and the real fund of living in front of everyone. Masala films have dominated Bollywood for a long time; in such a situation, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ makes the audiences think. However, these are must watch bollywood movies that can change your life.

Biblically Known
Despite the name, there is no smut...though things do get heated. Day Four of #ineffablehusbandsauweek for @ineffablehusbandsweek
As always, it can be read on AO3 here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/26620054
The soft clicking of heels from behind brought Aziraphale’s attention away from the exhibit and towards the intruder. At the sight of the approaching woman, a smile split his face.
“Antoniette! How lovely to see you again,” he said, meeting her in the middle of the room. “What brings you around this time? Biblical or modern?”
The woman, tall and looming over him with her stilettos, smiled and pulled off her glasses, “Um, I think that this time it’s Biblical - something about a garden?”
Aziraphale hesitated, taking a moment to study the  woman’s gold eyes that shifted under his scrutiny, then his faltered smile returned to full power, “Of course, darling. Was it the Garden of Eden or the Hanging Gardens?”
She snapped, “That’s the one. Hanging Gardens, sounds like fun - I have a garden too so it seemed like a good report to do.”
“Then come along,” said Aziraphale, holding out his arm for her to take. “I have just the resources you need.”
The two spoke amicably as they wandered the halls of the museum - a sight to behold: the plump curator that dressed like a character off The Mummy movies and the femme fatale of a Bond film. They had met one evening when Antoniette Crowley had arrived at the museum with a notebook in hand and bumped into the curator - Aziraphale Fell - in a very literal sense.
Aziraphale had fussed over the woman, making sure she was okay before asking if there was anything she needed - that he would love to help her as the new curator of the museum. And for her part, Antoniette had blinked up at him for a few minutes, blushed, and asked if he knew anything about the Dead Sea Scrolls.
When Aziraphale beamed and dragged her down the halls, a new friendship was struck - and a promise of continuing friendship stemmed from their conversation and jaunt through history. So when he sees Antoniette in the museum, Aziraphale knows that he’s in for a good time and a wonderful conversation about history.
“So these Hanging Gardens - they were destroyed, too, huh?” asked Antoniette, looking at the mock up that had been prepared in its little corner of the museum. “Just like the tower, just like Eden itself.”
“Unfortunately,” Aziraphale responded with a sigh. “Pity. One of the wonders they said. It’s a shame to lose something so vivid. Was there anything specific you needed to know about it?”
Antoniette perched her elbow on Aziraphale’s shoulder, “Anything you’ve got for me, angel. I’ll pick and choose the information.”
With the go-ahead of a full professorial lecture, Aziraphale launched into a story head tilted up towards the honey-gold eyes that were watching him with rapt attention.
“How’d the lie go today?”
Antoniette looked down and met the smirk of her partner, Beatrice, with a sharp smile of her own.
“It went perfectly fine, thanks for asking. He doesn’t suspect a thing and I got to hear him mourn the Hanging Gardens of Babylon for almost an hour…we had lunch afterwards.”
Beatrice snickered, “Then got off on those little sounds of his?”
“Shut it, Bea.”
But they continued, “He’s gonna find out one of these days - gonna slip or he’s gonna say something historically inaccurate and you won’t be able to help yourself. One way or another, Toni, your anthropologist smartass will show.”
She just shook her head, curls flying wild, “Absolutely not. He’s too smart to say something wrong. Besides, I’m not hurting anyone. I just - I just want to get to know him and if he knew who I really was - ”
“He’d fall harder for you?” asked Bea, eyebrow raised questioningly.
“No, he’d get weird - weird academic boner like that hothead Lucius,” said Antoniette. “I don’t want this to end. And I’ll tell him the truth.”
Bea laughed again, “After you two get married? Or when the director finally spots you and calls your bluff - that you’ve been acting like an ignoramus around your own fucking exhibit.”
Antoniette’s face turned as red as her hair, “We have very insightful conversations, Bea. I don’t act like I’m stupid - just not like Professor Crowley, that’s for sure.”
A roll of bright blue eyes met her own, “Whatever, Toni. But if you don’t tell him soon, it’s gonna come out somehow. You’ll see.”
She sighed, “That’s what I’m afraid of.”
A steaming mug of tea thumped down at Aziraphale’s side bringing his head up towards the hand attached to the handle.
“Ana,” he said, slipping off the glasses hanging on the edge of his nose. “Thank you, dear. It’s just what I needed.”
“What you needed was a break from that book. I know your job is to appraise and reconstruct, but you’ve been on that for three hours.”
“Has it really been that long?”
Ana - Anathema - huffed, “Yes, you workaholic. Honestly, when Toni swings by those are the best days because it gets you away from those damned books.”
He tisked, “There’s no need to offend them - they’ve done nothing wrong. And yes, I do agree - it is a delight when Antoniette is around.”
Aziraphale took a sip and noticed the red-lipped smirk that his youngest coworker wore from over the rim of the mug. He raised an eyebrow in question which set her off in giggles.
“Are you ever gonna tell her that you know she’s acting dumb?”
Another tisk, “She’s not acting dumb, Anathema. Her conversations are very insightful, it’s just that she’s not sharing just how smart she is with me. And no. That’s for her to tell me when the time is right. After all, there must be a reason.”
Anathema scoffed, “Yeah, the reason is that she likes you and thinks that if you can’t help her you won’t be interested in being around her. You know what would encourage her to tell the truth,” she paused for him to question her, “ask her out on a date. An actual date, not those ‘well, since we’re at it we might as well have lunch’ dates. Ask her to dinner, buy her expensive wine, take her home and - ”
“Anathema,” said Aziraphale, blush dusting his cheeks. “Antoniette is a lady, I will not do anything untoward.”
She smirked, “Never said to do anything untoward. And besides, if anyone’s gonna make a move like that it’s gonna be her - not you. She is sin incarnate, isn’t she?”
He sighed, and rubbed his temples when she started laughing, “I regret ever telling you that. Now, are you going to join me for tea or just laugh at my misfortune? Come, tell me about your latest project.”
Wednesday night was always a quiet one at the museum - just a few stragglers that would lazily wander up and down the exhibits and when Aziraphale found himself more often than not alone in the ancient artifacts room.
And usually that’s where Antoniette would find him.
This time, though, she was not in her tight pencil skirt and stilettos, but in baggy sweats that disguised her - even her sunglasses were a cheaper pair she’d picked up from a tourist booth on the way in and yet he still recognised her.
“My dearest, are you alright?” he asked, reaching out for her then stopping a breath away from her elbow. “Is there anything you need?”
She was quiet for a moment, and he wished she would fee; comfortable taking off her glasses, but they remained on, “Just - a distraction, angel. Anything you’ve got.”
Aziraphale frowned at the deadened tone, but he gave her a little smile nonetheless, “I think I’ve got just the thing,” he held his arm out, “It’s okay if you don’t want to - ”
Antoniette grabbed onto it like it was a lifeline, “Let’s see what you have, love.”
He kept a quiet drone about the latest visitors to the museum and the field trip of primary grade students that ran amok in the dinosaur exhibit and though she laughed at the right moment and agreed when she needed to, Aziraphale could tell that she was still distracted.
“Here we go, dearest,” he said and sat her at his desk. “My newest acquisition: the ‘Bugger Alle’ Bible.”
She gave a little gasp and reached out with long fingers before folding her fingers and glancing up at him, “Gloves?”
With a smile, he handed over his pair and though he knew they’d be too short, they would be enough for her to touch the book. Antoniette stroked the spine with a delicate touch and cracked it open with the care of a mother to her child, Aziraphale shivering at her gentleness.
“This is in top condition,” she said, breathless. “Did you do the restoration?”
“One of my specialties,” answered Aziraphale, leaning in close and using her fingers to follow the stitching. “Took a few hours - three if my coworker is to be believed - but it’s almost in perfect condition to be displayed.”
Antoniette looked up at him again, glasses slipped down enough for her gold eyes to be seen, “Amazing. This is - stunning work. Delicate - strong - I- ”
Aziraphale cupped her face in his hand, “You don’t have to tell me anything, but I have a feeling that you haven’t eaten - I can order some takeout?”
She leaned into the heat now on her cheek, lips brushing his thumb, “Sounds like a plan - Thai?”
“Whatever you want, dear,” he answered, breathless.
A couple of hours later the two of them had made their way out of the chair and sat on the floor of Aziraphale’s office, leaning against his desk as they passed a bottle of wine between them.
“And ‘s not fair,” said Antoniette, pouting. “That just ‘cus he’s a man he gets my project - top n’m. ‘S like I d’nt even exist.”
“Absolutely,” Aziraphale agreed, “Y’re smart and w’rkd hard f’r that - that project - wanker sh’dnt get an’thin.”
Antoniette shot him a wine-drowsy smile, “Y’re not a wanker though - y’re an - an angel. Pretty, s’ft, smart, gorgeous angel. B’t you d’nt want me - y’like books more.”
He huffed and wobbled closer, hand brushing her cheeks, “My books d’nt look like you, th’r not smart and beautif’l and sweet n’ let me talk th’r ear off. Not like you, Antoniette. My dear, m’ so glad you came into my life - best day ‘f m’ life.”
A whimper escaped wine-red lips as Antoniette turned to his hand, eyes closed, and whispered, “I really want to kiss you r’now.”
Aziraphale chuckled using his finger to sweep over her lips, “Me too, but now while we’re drunk.”
Another whimper from Antoniette as he continued his ministrations down to her chin and then to her throat, the warm press of his calloused thumb bringing goosebumps on her skin. Then he pulled away and she met his half-lidded eyes. They both felt a little more sober, a little more sharper.
“If you want - we can have dinner tomorrow - real dinner,” he said. “And we’ll see how it goes.”
She pouted once again, but nodded, “‘S a date.”
Anathema fussed over Aziraphale, fixing his bowtie and coat and running her fingers through his hair before he pulled her hands away and held them tight against his chest.
“Anathema, dear,” he said, eyes crinkled in mirth. “It’ll be fine. I’ve dressed like this every time we’ve been together - mess or not, she doesn’t seem to mind.”
“Yeah, but it wasn’t a date, Zira,” she said, almost bouncing with joy. “I’m so proud of you, viejito, you’ve got a date with a hot, smart woman and you did that all on your own. Get your woman, mi vida.”
Aziraphale rolled his eyes, but the smile did not waver, “Thank you, Ana, I guess you can say I’m finally an adult.”
A voice clearing behind them made them turn around and were greeted by the sight of a gorgeous, black dress clad Antoniette, red curls pinned to the side. Her smile was tight as her eyes flickered from Anathema to Aziraphale.
“Antoniette, darling,” Aziraphale said, his smile spreading. “Are you ready?”
She nodded, “Of course.”
Anathema pulled out of his grip, “Nice to finally meet you, Antoniette. I’m Anathema, co-worker and babysitter of this old man here.”
The two women shook hands, Antoniette’s smile still tight against her cheeks, before Aziraphale held out his arm for her to take. They bid Anathema their goodbyes and headed out.
“She seems nice,” said Antoniette, fingers tapping against the scratchy fabric of his coat. “Young. Smart.”
“And annoying as nothing else,” Aziraphale said, soothing her fingers with his free hand. “Her Americanisms can be hard to deal with - and her boyfriend has his own hands full with her.”
Antoniette’s fingers stopped as his hand wrapped around them, “Oh. She’s - she’s- ”
“An archeologist, and occultist if you can believe,” he said. “And no one for you to worry about, trust me dearest, you outshine everyone I’ve ever met before.”
She blushed and squeezed his arm, “And you truly are an angel.”
He chuckled in return, “I certainly hope not for long.”
Dinner was a slow-moving affair, Aziraphale savoring every bite and Antoniette enjoying every sound he made, tugging the hem of her dress down her dress as she grew hotter. After dessert and coffee - tea for the curator - Aziraphale offered to move the night to his flat and Antoniette took the offer with an almost embarrassing quickness.
“It’s not much,” he said, opening the door to his flat and ushering her in.
Books were scattered around, stacked in every corner and packed into bookshelves. There was a cozy messiness about the room that was perfect for him and she smiled at him.
“It’s wonderful, perfect for you,” said Antoniette, curling into the couch. “And the books make so much sense.”
Aziraphale blushed and scratched his neck, “Would you like some wine? I have a nice Burgundy that I’ve been dying to share with the right person.”
“And would that mean me?”
“I think it is.”
“Then pop it open and come join me.”
When he returned with the bottle and glasses, he found Antoniette, glasses off and flipping through the pages of a book. She looked up at him with wide eyes as he handed her a glass and she refused it.
“What’s wrong?”
She closed the book and handed it over, “Interesting choice - have you - did you - ”
The book was a detailed introspection on the Garden of Eden, a book written by Antoniette Crowley, and his eyes crinkled with mirth, “I suspected. I was just honored that you think that I was worth talking to and - you were just as beautiful as you were smart.”
Tossing the book to a side, Antoniette lunged towards him, wrapping her arms around his neck and licking her way into her mouth as he returned the kiss she laid on him. His hands came around her and hoisted her closer, and she moaned against him.
When they pulled apart for air, she laughed as she took in his lipstick covered mouth and he joined her soon after.
“Is it too soon to say that I love you?” she asked, gripping his hair as he began pressing kisses along her neck.
He hummed against her throat, “Only if it’s too soon for me to say that I love you as well.”
Antoniette gave a tug, “I think you brought that wine out too soon,” another moan, “I think I found something tastier.”
“The wine’s waited this long, it can wait longer. Let us indulge in this dessert before turning to the drink.”
She let herself be settled onto his lap as he took a seat, “Sounds tasty.”
