I just read one of your old fics, Where We Began, and honestly I'm so in love with it? If you don't plan on writing more do you have any other abstract ideas about it? Like about how the Nohrians would try to calm them down or which of the trio decided to trust them first or just anything like that? I just really like it a lot and it's entirely fair if you don't have any other thoughts about it, it's an awesome concept but you wrote it years ago, I just thought I'd give it a shot
(referring to this fic) Firstly, I'm so glad you enjoy one of my older works! I write a lot of FE, but I enjoy my early stuff as much as my more recent stuff, so I'm glad you enjoy it too!
Secondly, I don't plan on adding more to the fic itself like as a sequel or anything, but I always welcome questions about any fic I write!
Re: The Nohrians calming the kids down
The Trio definitely get rounded up after Severa gets caught in the barn, lol. The only hope they had was running away, and Camilla caught Severa. Owain & Inigo aren't going to just leave her behind, and Niles is probably hot on their tail. So there goes that escape attempt. They'd probably get herded back to the castle pretty soon after, but that just means they're (very clumsily) trying to whisper escape plans to each other once get they stuck in a (windowless) room. So the kids are probably panicking less outwardly at that point but still Freaked. Even if this is post-war, it's a big, dark castle full with Bad Vibes. Why wouldn't they still think this is Plegia?
Re: Gaining trust
This is harder because you have to convince a bunch of 12 year olds whose last memories are of the apocalypse and who have been taught anything that resembles Plegia is probably on the side of Grima that hey, you're in another universe, you don't remember coming here, you're actually adults, we didn't know your real names before a second ago and the aesthetic is Ominously Dark Here but we promise it's cool, we're tight. Like, even for a kid, that's not going to fly
Ultimately, this would come down to how much the Trio have revealed about themselves to their lords, I think. Because you need at least one (better if at least 2) of the lords to say, "Hey, your mom's name is _____ and you told me about this secret memory from the time you were _____ and ____ happened, which I never could have found out unless you told me yourself."
It would not require all the lords/retainers to do this because if Inigo or Owain were both like "Hm, that is true, the only way you'd know that is if I trusted you enough to tell you myself," that would sway Severa not to freak out entirely, I think. (And vice versa; if Severa & Owain both were convinced Leo/Niles & Camilla knew them, that would convince Inigo even if Xander didn't have anything to offer just then, etc.)
However, they're not all the same levels of trusting. Inigo would be the easiest to sway, Owain would be medium distrustful even if Leo/Niles offered good evidence bc Imagination Running Wild (although that also means he's the easiest to convince they hopped dimensions/time traveled too), and Severa would be hardest to convince about anything in general, even if she didn't have any other way of explaining how Camilla or Beruka knew X about her otherwise. Severa is jaded at age 12.
Inigo probably compliments Camilla & Elise even more so than in canon but he gets Visibly Flustered every time they talk back to him because Tween Vibes. (I elaborate a bit more on this down below).
I think Severa would actually butt heads with Camilla because Camilla is so doting and motherly (and a flyer!), and Severa at this age has a lot of Angst and Mommy issues that she has yet to work through. Also, it's up in the air how soon aver Cordelia's death this would be for her. So this would be a tough dynamic for both of them to adjust to, and Severa would probably avoid Camilla until/unless something changed.
I can't remember if this was an ask in regards to this fic or something else, but I remember a long, long time ago having the thought that a de-aged Odin/Owain would actually be more drawn to Xander and Camilla rather than Leo, simply because of the fact Xander has such a cool sword and Owain canonically admires Camilla's armor. Leo is a dark mage, which is also cool, but not quite as Immediately Cool to a 12 year old who Loves Swords and doesn't yet use magic. I think this would actually make Leo jealous and exacerbate his inferiority complex, lol. (*Niles voice: Green isn't a good color on you, milord*) But all it would take is Owain seeing Brynhilder and hearing about it for him to Flip Out over that too, so I think the problem would solve itself then, lol
As a side note, here is a short blurb I wrote years ago in a scenario where Leo is there when Odin de-ages instead of Niles. Also, here is another ask about young Inigo's behavior with the royals. In summary for that, I think he'd actually be a bit shyer than he is in Awakening (when he's late teen age, I hc) because at 12-ish he's reached the "always smile, no matter what" stage of his facade but not the 100% "fake it 'til you make it" approach, so he's still really nervous around anyone and everyone. (Espcially royalty. Especially Extremely Tall, Very Handsome/Beautiful Royalty. For reference, Lucina may not intimidate him at this age because they've known each other since forever and That's Different, but I think people like Chrom (assuming this isn't Chrom! Inigo) and Emmeryn (were she alive) would get him flustered still. But maybe not Lissa because she may be more Owain's Mom to him than princess just because of the way she acts (though he may avoid her out of fear of getting a frog in his shoe or something) (But he'd still be flustered if she complimented him bc Nervous!!) Anyway!! That's too long! Inigo at this age, even after he's calmed down and knows what's up, would be shyer than his canon self, I think. He's still growing up
EDIT: also an additional old ask found here about this fic. However, I mention the kids being 13/14 in that ask rather than like 11/12 like I mentioned here. I don’t have any concrete ages written for them in the fic, so just assume they’re whatever age that seems best (and their ages probably vary anyway). However, if they’re on the younger side I think the Trio are still absolutely Okay with fighting (even though they wish they don’t have to, they fear the Faceless too much to be comfortable when one comes close bc Risen Vibes), BUT the age difference between 11 & 14 does mean its even harder for them to fight than it might be as slightly older teens (although they still do probably have pretty good teamwork, despite not getting along) and without rescue there’s a good chance they’d still lose

fe13 wawa au keeps sprawling and most of it is in scattered twitter threads or just floating around my brain. time 2 put it all in one place before i start forgetting the good stuff. i love to hyperfixate
this started out as a morgan-centric AU for the purpose of cute & funny morgain/owain (and eventually also cynigowaingan) and then ofc i got WAY invested in the backstory of robin & morgan being escapees from a modern-day wellness spirituality cult who only recently lost their memories. when i tried to figure out what all the adults were doing tama suggested "chrom is robins work buddy from the 7/11" and then i decided Everyone Works At Wawa. thank you tama for that big-brained seed of an idea it is growing into a beautiful and unwieldy tree
*just to be clear this is called "wawa AU" but they work at a super wawa. ok. thanks
MORGAN & ROBIN are escapees from the modern day cult of grima, which is a fringe religious cult wrapped in a vaguely synanon-esque wellness cult wrapped in an herbal supplement MLM a la herbalife and YES it is called grimalife. the deeper you go, the weirder and more controlling and isolating it gets. it started out as a weird religious cult in the southwest US, but fueled by the sheer power of "well, no one's stopped me so far", validar starts grooming his only child into a protege he can eventually manipulate to gain further influence beyond the cult. folks, that's programming
the grima family's surname is grimason. rhymes with "freemason"
robin has her major "ah fuck, i really was raised in a cult" breakthrough and escapes with morgan when he's around 9, and with the help of some old friends, flees to the other side of the country and starts a new life for them under new identities as robin and morgan jones. they're able to live their lives in relative peace, uninterrupted by validar or anyone from the cult. it seems like they've actually escaped for good. fast forward several years when they are in a car accident and wind up with identical presentations of near-total amnesia: they can't remember anything about their lives except each other. they're only able to learn so much about themselves from the available information and can't explain why they don't have any photos from before when morgan is 9. robin finds out she's a faculty member of a local university of moderate prestige (field: game theory) where she started working around the time they apparently moved here, but when she tries to research how she got the job she winds up with mostly dead ends. the university is like hey… you should take a sabbatical… take some time off to be with your family and recover. also, you can’t remember your own syllabus so how are you going to teach right now anyway
as far as they can tell robin’s been homeschooling morgan his entire life, and he’s 16 now, so robin’s like hmmmm. i think maybe you should start going to a regular school this fall. it’s important that you get a good education and i’m not sure an amnesiac academic should be responsible for your curriculum and you should probably uh. be around kids your age? morgan is fine with this! the idea of going to school is actually really exciting. ALL of this is so exciting. in fact he really wants to try going to the summer camp they found a brochure for in the kitchen! robin is so immensely relieved to have a kid with this outlook because she is Struggling with the existential implications of not remembering anything from before you were 40.
unfortunately you can't just tell people like robin and morgan to "take it easy and relax", and eventually robin gets so bored and stir crazy that the third saturday in a row morgan emerges from his room to find that his mother has turned the den into an escape room he's like "mom this is so cool but i think you really need to get a job" so. while morgan is off at summer camp, robin gets a job at the super wawa
(ROLL CREDIT TITLES)
uhhh fuck i have no idea how to organize the rest of my thoughts on this. morgan goes to summer camp with owain where they become insta buddies, they spend a lot of time larping in the woods and then on the last day of camp they kiss in a tree, and owain falls out of the tree and breaks his arm. Classic camp experience. when he gets home from camp he will NOT shut up about the new friend he made, who inigo is convinced doesn't actually exist. what, you mean like your girlfriend in canada
smash cut to the first day of school and guess who is in their home room class!! haha it's wild owain and morgan spent so much time coordinating playing an online game together that neither of them thought to ask where the other one lived
i have not figured out everyone's Deals yet but most of the shepherds work at the wawa. chrom is like, technically the general manager here but let's be real, frederick is the one running the show. sully & sumia work the food and drink bar, sumia makes your milkshakes with a smile and sully glares at you when you ask if shes SURE theyre out of bacon (theyre married). cordelia also works there bc despite getting her masters degree she follows chrom to every customer service job he works. lissa also works there but her wife maribelle is currently working on her law degree. maribelle has never worked at the wawa and she never will. her wife has nothing but respect for her for dealing with the unwashed masses all day and still coming home with a smile, but there simply is not enough money in the world to convince maribelle to put on a mass-produced polo and visor
cordelia is married to gaius, who is constantly getting people caught up in little scams, just for fun, but also, there isn't enough good dental insurance in the world. he has been up in MULTIPLE MLM schemes because he knows how to work them and get out. he absolutely sells some GrimaLife brain pills for a while and even gets hooked on the kids gummy supplements until he realizes how many of these contain lead. severa learned to shoplift from watching you, dad
virion does NOT work at the wawa. he is inigo's dad and some kind of rich dude, its not important what kind, its only important that that cherche is the head of his legal counsel department and she represented olivia in the divorce :)
THE REGNA FEROX CIRCLE K is simply my new favorite combination of words to say. the shepherds are the wawa, and regna ferox is the lone, weirdly displaced circle K in the murky PA/NJ realm this takes place in. olivia has worked for basilio & flavia since she was a teenager after they were kind enough to give her a hand when she really needed it!! she quit when she married virion. she was rehired immediately after the divorce
lon'qu also works at the regna ferox circle K, similarly got a job there as a Troubled Youth and basilio kind of took him in, although for a while he wandered off on his own to go somewhere no one knew him. that's where he met robin! they're married! were married? he's morgan's dad but hasn't seen his wife OR kid in over 10 years. i think that may be a separate post because this is getting so long. lon'qu's only hobbies are working out & woodworking

Since I read that Robin has a nice singing voice I can't stop imagining Chrom finding the Plegian Prince (from the Sibling AU) quietly singing to himself in the farthest corner of the royal gardens asdfg pls I'll need to sleep soon, release me from your hold REEEEEEEEEEEEEE-
you know what friend even though this is severely delayed i can facilitate this ;D
Chrom ran through the gates and across the courtyard at a breakneck pace, cursing himself with every step.  He’d gone to the market in hopes of finding something for Robin, and instead got waylaid by Vaike and Stahl, who were uncomfortably interested in his recent absence from the garrison (the worst part was Vaike’s smirk, since the prince had made the mistake of going to him for help early on).  Hard as he’d tried, he couldn’t shake them – and now he was not only late meeting Robin, but he was empty-handed, too.
Racing into the center of the gardens, he jogged to a stop by the fountain, looking around and trying to catch his breath.  They’d agreed to meet here, he was sure of it…but there was no sign of the Plegian prince.  Robin had talked before about how he had to sneak away for these walks…had he been caught and never made it?  Or worse: had he made it and then been found and called back because Chrom took too long?
Gods, he didn’t think it was possible to feel more guilty.  But here he stood, the rock in the pit of his stomach doing its damndest to reach the ground.
Heaving a sigh, he made his way deeper into the gardens, scanning the manicured flower beds and the blooming vines trained to climb the stone lanterns lining the path.  Well…if nothing else, he could bring Robin a little something to apologize.  Picking a few blooms as he walked (and knowing it could hardly count as an apology), he wondered if he might be able to make it up somehow – maybe take him into the city, he didn’t think any of the Plegian delegation had actually seen Ylisstol proper…
Chrom stopped, lifting his gaze from the assorted flowers and looking around the tree-lined path.  He could hear something: a soft, unfamiliar melody, coming from somewhere in the trees.  Stepping off the path, he ducked into the trees, picking his way through the dappled shadows in pursuit of the strange song…
He recognized the voice mere steps before he reached the edge of a small glade.  And there, sitting among the roots of a small maple, was Plegia’s prince, singing softly in the silence.  This corner of the gardens seemed to have been forgotten by the gardeners, for wildflowers unlike any in the gardens waved in the sunlight; and Robin had collected a handful of them, chaining them together as his voice drifted from note to note.  Though he could not understand the words, Chrom found he did not care: the music in them was beautiful, and he stood entranced while the young man worked, praying that he would not stop.
Unfortunately, the gods seemed keen on ruining most everything for him today.  As he leaned more comfortably against the nearest tree, he must have made some sound, for Robin’s voice quieted as he looked up at the Ylisse’s prince – and a shy smile broke across his face as he scrambled to his feet.  “You made it!”
“I’m sorry I’m late,” Chrom said, awkwardly holding out the flowers he’d collected.  “I-I got these for you.  W-well, picked them, uhm, on my way…”
“They are beautiful,” Robin beamed, gathering them up as he tucked the wildflower chain out of sight.  “I was worried I had missed you.”
“I thought the same – I got held up in the market, I’m sorry I was so late…”
The Plegian prince only shook his head.  “Please, do not be sorry, there was no harm!”
Chrom smiled, watching the young man for another moment…before drawing a breath, trying to put his words in order.  “What was that song?”
Robin went still, glancing up at him and pulling the flowers a bit closer.  “N-nothing.”
“I don’t mean to pry!” the prince protested, rubbing the back of his neck.  “But it…it was lovely.”  He wasn’t sure whether to mention that he’d been trying not to disturb the young man or not…
Robin glanced up at him, his cheeks seeming slightly darker than they had been a moment before.  “Thank you,” he mumbled into the flowers.
“I’d…i-if you don’t mind, I mean, I…I’d love to hear more,” Chrom ventured, feeling increasingly awkward with every word.
But he was certain he saw a smile touch the young man’s golden eyes, making them shine in the warm afternoon light.  “Maybe.  But I would like to have time with you now, while we can.”
Chrom beamed, offering his hand and feeling his heart skip as Robin’s fingers settled in his palm.  “I’d like nothing more.”

To think the years flied that quickly. Chrom is now thirty and a father of three beautiful children–well, six if you count the future kids. He is a very lucky man and Chrom knows it. He was lucky since day one. He had Emmeryn to guide him when he was inexperienced and rash. She passed away but he was lucky yet again to meet Rebecca and Spartan; these two were and still his supporters. Every day he is thankful to everything he has (and will have.) He fell in despair but found love to ward off his demons. He felt lonely but now he has a big family. How can he not be happy anymore?  True that he still wishes his big sister lived to see this, lived to have her own happiness.
Chrom had ended one of the meetings he had with an ambassador from Plegia to settle down on some business discussion related to the previous taxes and blocked trading routes between Ylisse and Plegia and Plegia with Ferox. It was hectic but thankfully, by the years, he could tell that the new young people who are leading in Plegia are better compared to the old farts who ruled before. They are somewhat open-minded and willing to have a decent conversation. That’s aside, he is glad that this meeting was over before nightfall. True that dusk was slowly creeping but compared to yesterday or before it, this is quite early.
The king left the superficial matters in Frederick’s hands and exited the room to walk down the long corridors back to his chamber. In his way, he stopped to have a look in the garden thinking he might find someone but he didn’t. He only found the gardener who told the king that the princess and the prince were here not long time ago but the Queen came and fetched them since it was getting cold. Chrom smiled and thanked the gardener and turned around to head back to his original destination.
On his way, he assumed he would hear the kids’ voices ringing in the chamber but it was oddly quiet. He also thought he might find at least Lucina waiting to ambush him when he turned the corner where she usually sits to jump attack him. He brushed it off and continued but he was stopped by (older) Thomas whose cheeks were on fire as he was panting. Chrom quickly questioned the young man but he told him he climbed the stairs as quick as he can to catch up with his father. Chrom raised an eyebrow and still questioned what for he did that and Thomas simply hooked his arm to his father’s arm and giddily dragged him to his chamber. Chrom was still confused but he let Thomas guide him because he knew something is most likely planned by him (gosh, he takes after his mother in that department…not that Chrom minds; actually he is very happy to have his kids look more like and act like rebecca.)
Thomas opened the door with his free hand and pulled Chrom in and the first thing he saw (the sliding door was removed thanks to the kids meddling in their room) Rebecca laying on the bed, (older) Maria to one side and the rest of the kids by order, Lucina, (younger) Thomas and (baby Maria) sitting in Rebecca’s lap as she is telling them a story–probably something from her own world. Thomas grinned happily and went to snuggle beside Rebecca on the other side. Chrom stood there for a moment, taking that scene in. It’s….beautiful? Really…there are no words to describe what he is seeing…if only Lucina stayed as well but he can’t force her to stay in here if it brings her pain. He’s at least thankful Thomas and Maria decided to stay until they figure out what they want to do for themselves, just like their big sister.
Rebecca laughed quietly when she saw Chrom standing there, astonished and lost of words. She called his name and told him he should take off his clothes and come snuggle with them because her story is just getting to the plot twist and he’ll miss it. Chrom sighed inwardly, offering a smile back to his wife and did what she suggested. He took off his coat and boots and crawled to the bed but no one was going to offer him a place near Rebecca until Maria huffed and told him to scoot closer where she sat down his lap and told him to stay quiet so mama can continue her story. Chrom obediently did what his daughter told him to do…wait….why he feels like his kids have him wrapped around their fingers? ….Eh. Who cares.
Now that everyone in place, Rebecca giggled patting Maria’s head and thanking her for giving her place for her father. Maria looked up at Chrom and told him that Hunter said that being kind to people will circle back to her, while nodding to confirm her obtained knowledge. Chrom laughed and patted her head and told her that grandfather is right. However, the other children did not like the hold-up and started to fuss up for Rebecca to continue. Rebecca calmed them down and told them to be good kids or she will stop. Everyone went silent and waited for Rebecca to continue. But first, she leaned her body against Chrom’s, tilting her head to the side, stealing a kiss then off she continued her story. Thomas coughed violently telling Rebecca how gross that was and Maria totally missed that because she was playing with Lucina when it happened. Chrom, meanwhile, had his cheeks bright red because naga’s mercy..she did it again. He can never be prepared for her and…honestly…he does not want to be prepared…this is just fine. He loves it the way it is. His left arm wrapped around Rebecca’s shoulders pulling her close when Thomas raised Chrom’s arm and scooted even closer to be part of the hug. A fit of laughter filled the room before it calmed down and soon after Rebecca’s voice was the only voice that was heard as she continued her story.
@convxction
The years during and after the war were mixed for Rebecca. Like everything in life, there were the ups and the downs. One of the best moments was when Rebecca met her husband Chrom and fell in love. They had three beautiful children as well. Lucina, Thomas, and Maria. They were growing up so fast. There were also the bad times like when the war started. Rebecca was so frightened about losing her husband or any of their children. There was also the end of the war when the UNSC found them after all those years. Rebecca and 197 knew what it would come to and it was very hard to explain to Young Lucina and Young Thomas why grandpa 197 had to leave but he left and it was the first time Rebecca had been separated from her father. Thankfully she had Chrom to help her. Then there was the more recent event when Rebecca tried to find Future Lucina only to find a letter saying that she left. It broke Rebecca’s heart to hear that Future Lucina had left. Even though Future Lucina wasn’t technically her daughter, Rebecca still regarded her as such.
Now a days she has so many more duties than when she was a Marine. Being Ylisse’s queen was a job and a half. She had meetings to attend to, local lords that would always try to have her go behind Chrom’s back an reinstated the old court system, citizens to talk to. There were even formal balls that she had to attend and getting her children ready for them was a task in of itself. Still she couldn’t complain to much. As long as she is with Chrom and their kids, nothing could be better.
Today was a day she thankfully had no royal duties to attend to. So she went exploring the castle to find her family. She knew Chrom would be busy as he was meeting with a Plegian diplomat. It was winter time so she knew that her children would be playing in the garden. Her hunch was right and soon she found her wonderful children throwing snow balls and building snowmen. She called out to them as they had been playing for a while and told them to come inside. She laughed a little as she was met with complaints about wanting to play longer but she said that if they came she would tell them a story and that got them to come inside.
She began to tell the tale of how their grandfather, the tough and stoic Spartan-197, gained the name of Pieman during his basic training. She made them all promise to never call their grandfather that when he visited. She began her story about what her father went through in boot camp. He and the other spartan recruits were doing running drills and other exercises. During one of those running laps, Hunter had felt that something was off. There were people who weren’t suppose to be there. He warned the others that something was wrong and they were soon attacked by these mysterious She paused her story when Thomas got up to leave asking where he was going. He replied that he was going to get Chrom. She gave a nod and watched as he left. In the mean time she talked about what her world looked like compared to Ylisse. The children couldn’t believe what they were hearing about.
When Chrom came into the room, Rebecca’s eyes laid dreamily on her husband. Ten years since they first met and still it was like she had fallen in love all over again. She gave a slight giggle as Chrom stood there and invited him to the bed. Rebecca kindly asked Maria to move and make some room for her father. Once that was done she patted her head and thanked her. The others started to get restless for Rebecca to continue the story about their grandfather. Before she started it again she leaned into to steal a kiss from her beloved husband. Her action gained an exaggerated response from her only son Thomas. She couldn’t help but smile and booped his nose.
“Some day you will find some one you want to kiss.” She said lightheartedly.
The group came in for a hug and laughed. Then Rebecca went to finish her story.
“As Grandpa hunter and the others were under attack, there was a nearby cart of pies that were being delivered for that evenings dinner. With his quick thinking he used the pies to distract the mysterious strangers and soon the other spartan recruits did the same. They held out until the Drill Sargent and other soldiers there could aid them. Thus he earned the name Pieman. The heroic Pieman had saved his squad with the help of some apple and cherry pies.” Rebecca said.

Emote to me!
(∪ ◡ ∪) -  Favorite Pairing
Tumblr media
ah. wellllllll
there’s….a lot of them friend l ol
for the sake of your sanity, i’ll shorten it down to top 4! now, in no particular order:
1) Yamahibi: Devil Survivor 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Throughout both game and anime, these two are the classic examples of one power and two sides of the coin. Both of them are blessed with the power to control demons, angels, anything in between and while one of them is fixed in his goal to reform the world and the people in it(Yamato Hotsuin), the other is determined to make his own path and survive (Hibiki Kuze)
Does this fall with Yamato’s plans? Would they be enemies or friends?
It depends on the path of the game, but no matter which path you choose Yamato always sees Hibiki as his equal, perhaps even more. A person he’d come to greatly respect and admire, who slowly etches away at his frozen heart. And even in the paths he loses, he still strives to protect Hibiki (and that is how he dies if you’re not in the Daichi 5-Fate or Yamato route). For someone who equated the human life to a statistic, that is extremely unusual. He doesn’t even understand it himself.
But he greatly loves Hibiki, as a sworn friend or even more.
2) Chrobin: Fire Emblem Awakening
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Brothers-in-arms, or romantic battle couple, both versions of Chrom/Robin remain tied, equally as romantic in my heart. Regardless of gender, the trust that Chrom has in Robin, in their talents, strategizing and how he genuinely trusts them with his own life, regardless of how ‘crazy’ their plans seem, it’s a genuinely heartwarming thing.
Even as the game progresses and he learns unsavory things about their past, how they pose a threat to his own life, his kingdom, everything he’s stood for, he still refuses to believe they would. He stands by them and they stand by him, a mysterious amnesiac who gratefully gives everything they have to the person who helped them and a prince who sees the beauty in their mad ways, who provides his sword alongside them. Its a gorgeous thing really.
Robin is the wind at Chrom’s back.
Chrom is the sword at their side.
3) Wangxian: Mo Dao Zu Shi
This is a recent pairing and as most of my followers will know, the one pairing i will not shut up about these days
(it also happens to be canon the novel is based off on, and the manhua and the donghua[anime], despite being censored, greatly hints at this.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The series itself features on our main protagonist Wei Wuxian, and a man who was, strangely, always at his side, Lan Wangji. And throughout the book, in past flashbacks and present situations, we see how they slowly fall in love with each other through the course of the story.
A lot of bad things happen to Wei Wuxian, terrible, frightening things. The world turns its back to him, denounce him for turning to dark ways of cultivation, friend upon friend…but strangely, even though they argued with each other, even though Lan Wangji’s clan hated him on the surface, Lan Wangji, this eminent young master, still sought him out and silently supported him.Trying to talk him into coming back with him and stop going down the dark path.
And his greatest regret was that he never succeeded, before Wei Wuxian’s death at the beginning of the book. And still..
And still, 13 years later, he shows up again, when Wei Wuxian returned. In a new body that most don’t recognize, and still, at an instinctual level, he protects Wei Wuxian, who honestly is at a loss to understand him. Who, at some level, is glad that he’s there, despite them having been enemies.
Who slowly comes to love him back, to the point that he actively tries to push him away. But Lan Wangji is determined to never repeat his past mistakes.
Maybe this time, they’d have a happier outcome.
4) Abeshiya: Fukigen na Mononokean
Now this pairing I will eternally scream bout till I descend to the depths of the underworld itself because its is so c u t  e:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The pairing is between the protagonist duo of Abeno Haruitsuki, the master of the Mononokean and proclaimed exorcist, who grants access to the earth bound youkai to their proper home in the Underworld, and Ashiya Hanae, his reluctant employee, who learns to see youkai one day, and works under Abeno to pay off a debt for helping him with a youkai’s ‘curse’.
Abeno is the titular Morose Mononokean, a quiet, sullen boy who usually sleeps in class and has rarely anything to do with humans. It’s a mystery as to why he wanted Ashiya to help him. And Ashiya, to his credit, does (well, its a slow process of understanding youkai and how they work tbh). Ashiya is brash, energetic, runs into situations, can’t read the mood, but he works his back off to help the youkai with their demands, simply because he learns how to empathize with them. It’s a bit worrying, for Abeno especially, because a human is throwing himself headlong into the world of youkai with little thought to his own safety.
But over the course of the series, more and more, Ashiya’s warmth and genuine concern, extends to youkai, extends to him and he gradually starts getting affected. They start getting closer to one another as friends, worrying about the other in at first their quiet little way. Ashiya supports and cares for Abeno’s well-being and Abeno himself defrosts little by little showing more human expressions and genuine concern for his well being. It’s cute.
The Master of the Mononokean truly has a remarkable, interesting employee.

SUPPORT / PANNE
I love Panne so much and I’m thrilled to write for her! Thank you, @sabbywrites for beta-reading this and giving me feedback! If you like this, please consider donating to my ko-fi, which can be found HERE!! 1 ko-fi=1 headcanon request!
“I can’t believe it’s gonna be fall, soon,” Your wistful statement was muffled by the stack of books held in your arms, reaching right below your eyes. After being injured a week ago, Robin insisted on keeping you off the battlefield during your recovery. It made you pretty restless, despite the heavy amount of chores Robin doled out to you.
You were desperate to contribute! After all, dead weight didn't get fed. Dead weight didn't deserve a spot in the Shepherds, the most elite class of warriors in the kingdom.
You were lucky that Chrom gave you this chance. If he had been less generous, you would've still been roaming the lower half of Ylisse, scouring the sands for materials and items, making deliveries between towns, dodging Risen attacks.
"Autumn is a pleasant season," Panne eyed you cautiously as the books teetered. She held a basket of fresh ingredients. "Do you dislike it?" Her question makes you frown. You hadn't considered what time of year she likes the most.
"It just starts to get darker really fast, you know?" You shifted the heavy books, attempting to alleviate the aching in your muscles. The pathway you were on was thankfully clear and worn, as the Shepherds had been moving things to and fro the different parts of camp. The strategist cabin and lounge (more of a place for weary Shepherds to rest, without being crowded in the barracks), were up a steep hill and through a small patch of forest. You were glad that they decided to set up a semi-permanent camp in the middle of the country. The mild weather made staying warm and keeping cool much easier. "I like everything else, though. Especially all the festivals that happen."
"I see," Panne hummed thoughtfully. Her lack of strong expressiveness made her hard to get a read on, but you admired how steadfast and straight-to-the-point she was. Arguments tended to end very quickly with her around, because she always encouraged both sides to be blatant about their desires and problems, making communication easier. "The taguel also held festivals during the autumn. It seems that humans are not so different from us, in that regard. What kinds of festivals are there?"
"Well, there's the Harvest Festival, which is more towards the south and west 'cause that's where most of the farmers are," You explained. "But everyone around the kingdom tends to celebrate the equinox.”
"As my people also did," Panne nodded as the two of you reached the second part of camp. The forest trail opened up to reveal a large clearing with a hut to the right of it. Wooden staircases had been built into the cliffside, leading up to various buildings such as the armory, the lounge and the gambling house. You were originally against the idea of letting others gamble their funds away, but Robin shrugged and agreed without much fuss. It was a way to keep them busy (not bored) you supposed. Not like you could dispute with him. You were a lowly rookie, your opinion was no match for the seasoned tactician.
"What kinds of things did you do during festivals, Panne?" You inquired, ambling towards the stairs. Holding the huge pile was really beginning to take a large toll on your arms, which were much more used to handling a light lance or tome. You took in a deep breath as you ascended the first step, pulling yourself to together.
"We made a special kind of pastry," Panne explained, "By putting dough in large, wooden buckets and hitting it with a hammer. The entire warren would get in groups and each make one. At the end, the elders would taste each one and give out awards to the winners. But there was also dancing and feasting and the like." She said, before her gaze darted down to you. Her lips parted around the sound of your name and you froze, heat creeping up the back of your neck. You liked the way she said it. "Let me carry those."
"Oh, I couldn't possibly—" You spluttered. As much as your muscles ached, you hated the idea of burdening her with a task that you were supposed to complete. Undeterred by your hesitance, Panne slid the basket she had been holding so the handle was fit snugly in her elbow, before reaching up and grabbing half of the books you had been carrying.
Her thick muscles flexed with the motion, and you found yourself utterly stupefied as she continued up towards the study with little to no problem.
While you wanted to be cross about it (feeling underestimated was never fun) you knew that you likely would have taken a nasty slide down the stairs had you pushed yourself too far.
From the few, other times you've interacted with Panne, you've come to realize that she speaks with actions more than words. She tosses a glance over her shoulder and you scurry to follow, boots thunking against the sturdy, wooden steps.
"Thank you, Panne," You said nervously as you walked next to her, suddenly overcome with the realization that you might have somewhat of a crush on her. "That was really nice of you.'
"It was only the right thing to do," She declared. "But, you could pay me back by letting me have half of your dessert, tonight." Mischief curled into her voice and you jolted, trying to calm the heat that was building up in your cheeks. Panne, joking? Who would've thought?
Maybe she only joked with people she was comfortable with. The notion that she felt safe enough to show hidden parts of herself to you made you feel warm and fuzzy inside, despite your limited interactions with her.
You held back a loud sigh of relief when you finally reached the study. You swept ahead of Panne, knocking on the door, before opening it. Robin, hunched over at his desk, raised his head and greeted you with a smile, inviting you to step in. Panne arrived a mere moment later and you shut the door behind her as Robin stood up, telling you where to put each tome and novel. He clearly had a neat system of organization.
Robin was nice and all, but you wished the trip here lasted longer. You wanted to hear Panne talk more.
The sounds of war raged all around you. Horses cried and whinnied, soldiers screamed and writhed on the ground. The grass was stained with blood, a sight you've long grown accustomed to. The horror you used to react with had been replaced by an idle sense of exhaustion as you watched blades sink into flesh, watched red gush from open wounds. You didn't need to pay attention to all of these sights and sounds right now, because you’d inevitably see them again later while you were sleeping. It was no wonder that you hardly got a wink of rest.
You cleaved the head off a Plegian shoulder and grimaced, before swiftly stepping over his body, knocking your shoulder into an enemy that was trying to catch Ricken by surprise. The small mage turned to you as the enemy soldier stumbled and fell to the ground, your lance buried in his chest.
"Thanks!" He called, and you notice that he was purposely keeping his gaze glued to your face, so he didn't have to look down at the man you just killed. You nodded and darted off to a different part of the battlefield.
The fight raged on for another twenty minutes before the enemy commander gave a call to retreat. As much as you would have liked to pursue and take care of them all then and there, you knew that Chrom had a different, more merciful way of doing things. He was raised differently, by a woman more kind and courteous than any of the merchants who tossed you between them.
You sat outside the healer's tent and tried to calm your wild breathing. Your lance, still stained with blood, rested at your side. Today, you got lucky. You managed to get out of this one with only minor bruises and scratches. The autumn sunlight felt like a chill over the camp, instead of making it warmer. Lon'qu limped across the clearing, one hand holding his side, eyebrows furrowed as though deep in concentration. Maribelle was sharp on his heels, one of her hands pressed firm to his back as she lead him inside. You averted your gaze when they walk by, looking at the dead grass. Your body and eyelids felt heavy. The temptation to rest your head against the tarp of the tent and shut your eyes was overwhelming. Maybe you should’ve done that. You weren’t due to leave camp for another few hours, anyways.
A soft murmur of your name caught your attention and forced you to look up. Panne stood in front of you, one hand on her hip, looking you up and down with keen, keen eyes. Unconsciously, you hugged your knees closer to your chest in an effort to hide.
"Here," She held out a wet, white cloth and you took it, staring at it in a dumbfounded way. There was a reason she was giving it to you. But your thought process slowed to a halt, jumbled from the recent battle. You still smelled blood, could still feel the heaviness of your lance as it rested in your hands. "It's for your weapon." Ah, that makes sense. The realization caused you to lift yourself into a standing position as your brain restarted, jolting out of the numb daze you'd been in since the battle started.
"Thanks," Your voice was raspy from lack of use. It only occurred to you then that you hadn’t spoken to anyone all day. A silent moment passed as you waited for her to walk away, but she didn’t. "Are you alright, Panne?"
"Yes, I'm fine," A small smile curled onto her lips and suddenly you felt blessed to witness such beauty. Your cheeks burned and you reached out a gloved hand towards your lance, grabbing it. Your metal gauntlets clacked together as you began to clean it off, wincing at the bright, red stains that quickly formed on the washcloth. "I injured my hand, but the healers fixed it. Are you... alright?"
"Yeah, I'm all good." You assured her, trying to smile for extra emphasis. She didn’t seem entirely convinced. "Really. I'm just peachy." Her nose wrinkled.
"Forgive me, but you don't seem 'peachy'," She began and you nearly winces at the slight bite to her voice, "You look tired," Her tone softened, and you felt any resistance you might've had begin to crumble. "I have some tea that might help you fall asleep better." She crossed her arms and her posture stiffened, looking like an army sergeant about to give a long, aggressive drill. "You need to get a proper amount of rest. Not just for you, but for the people around you, who depend on you."
"No one depends on me." You murmured, quiet. "If I wasn't here, nothing would change."
"I do." Panne leveled you with an honest, but perhaps unreadable expression. Her confession stilled your blood in your veins and she smiles. You turned your face away from her, desperately trying to suppress the warmth growing on your cheeks. Heat crawled up your neck and touched your ears. "More people depend on you than you realize. I don't know what I'd do if you weren't there to pester me about."
“I…” You felt the words get stuck in your throat, but she didn’t interrupt you or rush you. “Thanks, Panne.” You managed to give her a sheepish grin.
“It’s just the truth.” She assured you. You busied yourself with cleaning your blade to avoid looking at her, to avoid showing your own sheepishness. The chilled sunlight bounced off the metal and made you squint. She stood at your side for a moment, shifting her weight back and forth on her feet. Maybe it was because you’d been paying more attention to her, but you’d come to notice that Panne was a fidgeter. “I promised Frederick that I would help him organize our weapons and provisions. I’ll see you later.”
“Yeah. At dinner, probably.” You murmured, unsure if she can even hear you.
The dead grass crunched underneath her feet as she walked away. She gave you a smile, but you didn’t see it.
“I’m so glad that it’s warmer, here.” You hummed, feeling the soothing cool of the water on your feet. Your hands rested flat against the dirt beside the river, your eyes shut. The swell of the heat surrounded you, but it wasn’t too humid, not too awful.
“It’s not terrible,” Panne said blatantly. The sunlight gleamed off of her hair as you turned to look at her, her eyes startling vibrant as she stared into the river’s depths, “Us taguel don’t… do well with the humidity. But my armor lets me stay cool.” Ah, you guessed you could understand that. Panne really didn’t… wear much. If she wore regular armor or human clothes during battle, they’d probably tear off as soon as they transformed.
“Your armor expands when you transform, right?” You inquired.
“Yes,” Panne hummed. A loud, boisterous yell rang out from across the river, and you looked over just in time to see Gaius splash into the cool waters, the fishing pole flying out of his hands. Donnel, at his side, paled, before rushing over to offer a wide array of apologies and a helping hand. Henry, who had been gathering mushrooms with Ricken in tow, gave an unabashed, loud laugh. “Our armor is also waterproof.” Panne remarked wryly. When you looked back to her, her lips were curled in a small smile.
It’s been only two months since you’ve met her, but you know you really like her. You’re hesitant to call it “love”, purely due to how short your time together has been. But every time she seeks you out at dinner or throws you down during sparring matches, your heartbeat increases tenfold, and your face grows hot. And whenever she smiled, your chest tightened and it was like looking at sunlight personified.
“That’s really cool,” You praised, desperately trying to think of an actual, intellectual reply. “And practical. Do you know what it’s made of?”
“I’m not sure. I never learned how to make them.” Panne said with a shrug. “Many of my slain kin’s homes were left untouched after the raid, so I went back several times to take clothing and armor from them… It was always so quiet.” And just like that, a solemn feeling settled over the two of you. You stared down at your lap, just absorbing the information you had been given. The idea of her returning to the site where her entire clan was brutally murdered makes your stomach turn.
“I’m sorry,” You murmur softly. “You’re really brave, Panne,” You swallowed nervously as she looks at you, gaze inquisitive, “You’re always really brave and noble, and cool.”
“I’m not quite sure where that came from,” She begins, voice gentle. “But thank you. I’m glad you think of me in such a positive light.”
“Everyone should!” You turn to her, a sudden passion in your voice. She startles, eyes widening for a brief second. “You’re amazing and resilient. And even after you lost so much, you kept living and fighting for what was right!” You’re not where this sudden fervency is coming from, and you’ll probably regret it in a few moments, but right now, you want her to feel as appreciated and revered as Naga, as any other goddess in the world.
She quiets, gaze fixed on your expression as you realize the severity of your outburst. Heat creeps up your face and onto your cheeks, and you turn your face away, resisting the urge to cover your face with your hands. You briefly register the sound of Henry chatting with Ricken across the river, and focus on the noise of the water rushing, the feeling of the cool water on your feet. Does she think you’re weird, now? Is she gonna stop talking to you? Worries pile into your head and you feel yourself become stifled and awkward.
“Thank you,” She speaks, perhaps the tenderest you have ever heard her, “That’s very sweet. I’ve been told I’m... not great at communicating by human standards, but I’m very, very glad that I met you. You’re always so sweet to me.” A rush of affection tingles up your spine and through your entire body, overwhelming beyond belief. You raise your hands to cover your face without even thinking about it. At your sudden gesture, she tips her head in puzzlement, uttering your name. “Are you alright?”
“Just fine,” You murmur softly. “Just happy.”
A moment’s silence.
“...I see.” You can hear the smile in her voice.
Crickets chirped and the humidity seemed to stick tight to the air. While you would have to go on patrol tomorrow morning, you couldn’t sleep… which was what motivated you to go down to the river. The Shepherds had been stationed in the southern camp for three weeks. Most adjusted to the high temperatures, but a select few seemed thoroughly intent on going back up north. Lon’qu had made his distaste for the humidity known, which really didn’t surprise you. He did come from Ferox, after all.
You allowed the sound of the water to relax you as you stand on the sandy bank. Pale moonlight bathes the entire forest in silver. Creatures shuffle through the underbrush, but even the wildlife remains respectfully silent. The wind whistles through the trees. And perhaps, for a moment, you believe that you would be happy if you dissolved into the earth and spent the rest of your life right here, as a tree or stone.
“Good evening,” The sound of Panne’s voice, low and quiet, jolted you from your reverie. “Couldn’t sleep?”
“It’s too hot,” You shrugged and she nodded in understanding. You imagined that she had spent many nights sleepless, haunted by things she’s seen in the past. “I also got a lot to think about, too. Robin was talking about sending a bunch of people back up to the north camp to reinforce our numbers there… But I think he’s just saying that ‘cause a bunch of people don’t like the humidity here.”
“I see,” Panne noted, and it hit you that maybe you shouldn’t give information like that away when you weren’t sure if Robin intended to tell anyone else. Hopefully, Panne could keep a secret. In the moonlight, you could see Panne’s expression. For a brief moment, the small frown on her face bewildered you.
Only then did you remember her utter distaste for the heat.
“I mean, I definitely understand why they’d want to go back!” You hurried to assure her, hoping you didn’t come off as judgmental. “I’m not a big fan of the cold but I can… get it. Get why people like it.” You trailed off into silence, and complete silence settled between the two of you until she gave a small chuckle, an amused noise you’d never quite heard from her. Her laughter was  beautiful and you were suddenly stunned at the pure beauty of her smile.
“It’s no problem,” She assured you with a wave of her hand. “I assume you would be staying here, then?”
“Well,” You swallowed nervously, unsure of how to articulate what you want to say, “I mean, I like it down here… Would you go up north?” Instead of confessing, you took the easy way out and asked a question of your own.
“Perhaps,” She shrugged, and your raised your eyebrows. A week ago, she seemed like she really hated how hot it was. Why wouldn’t she head back north, where she could escape to more favorable temperatures? The babbling of the creek accompanied the soft melody of her voice, a song you could listen to forever if given the choice. “As much as I disliked it before… I think you’ve taught me that this kind of weather can also be beautiful. And… if I went up north, I’d miss you.”
The world sputtered to a halt and stood still. You weren’t sure if you heard her right, for a few moments. Maybe it was your overactive imagination? Maybe the culmination of all your hopes causing you to mishear her? She’s still smiling.
“I…” You swallowed thickly, trying to get yourself together, trying to absorb what she really just said to you. Was that a confession? Or was it a just-friends kind of thing? “I’d miss you, too. I really like you.”
“Like me? I was under the assumption that we felt more for each other.” Panne tipped her head and your eyebrows shot up to your forehead.
“Yeah! I do! It’s just that… sometimes humans use the word ‘like’ for ‘love’,” You hastily explained, not wanting her to feel insecure for even a second. The wet sand crunched under your boots as you moved to stand in front of her. “I really love you, okay?”
“You humans can be so hard to understand sometimes,” She said with a sigh, but she smiled in a way that told you she didn’t mind. One of her hands reached forward to take your own. Her palm was warm and calloused and all you could do was watch with wide, awed eyes as she lifted your hand to her lips, and kissed the back of it. Her berry-colored eyes looked up and locked onto your own, her attention devoted and passionate. “But you should know, that I do love you.”
You didn’t trust yourself to speak, too emotional to even articulate yourself. Relief, excitement and an odd sort of stress piled on you all at once, and all you could do was rush forward to wrap your arms around her, tugging her closer, closer. In the next few minutes, you’ll be able to say say that you love her, too. But from the way she returned the tender embrace, she seemed to understand just fine.

Rules: Choose any three fandoms (in random order) and answer the questions.
i choose: heck, let’s go with the 3 i’ve been most into recently!
star wars | fire emblem | warriors
the first character you loved:
anakin skywalker. i still remember being indignant when ahsoka talked back to him in the tcw movie | either lissa or frederick | probably dovewing (i borrowed the fourth apprentice from a friend and read that first before going back and reading the rest of the series)
the character you never expected to love so much:
probably ezra bridger, tbh! i started watching rebels purely for ahsoka and rex and did not expect to get so attached to the ghost crew literally within the first 5 minutes of spark of rebellion | TAKUMI | ... god, it’s so hard to remember these things, the first time i read these books was so many years ago... squirrelflight, maybe?
the character you relate to the most:
echo! i used to read encyclopedias for fun as a kid so i understand his love of the reg manual | probably sumia? i don’t quite have self-esteem issues like she does but i do tend to downplay my strengths and kinda write myself off. plus we both love reading and even tend to prefer the same genres (mostly fantasy and fiction) | leafpool because i too spend a good deal of my time pretending everything is fine even if it’s not and trying to fix my mistakes,
the character you’d slap:
wat tambor | fernand | clear sky. i’ve had enough of that dude
three favorite characters (in order of preference):
anakin, kanan, rey | gaius, takumi, lissa | JAYFEATHER, lionblaze, bramblestar (if i’m being totally honest jayfeather alone is favorite characters #1 through 10 for this series i love him SO MUCH no one else even comes close)
a character you liked at first but don’t anymore:
... i don’t really care for ventress? i don’t dislike her, but i don’t seem to like her as much as everyone else does. i thought she was cool the first time i watched tcw all the way through, but now... | cherche, maybe? i don’t think i’ve ever really disliked a fire emblem character - at least not one from any of the games i’ve played - but i’m not as interested in cherche as i used to be | sorry, dovewing
a character you did not like at first but now do:
ahsoka, believe it or not. i don’t remember caring about her too much when tcw was first airing, but i really like her now | camilla | as usual i never really disliked hollyleaf but i like her more now than i did the first time i read the books
three OTPs:
anidala, kanera, ultimate rarepair™ arcmaiden | the Original Rarepair™ ricken/lissa, chrom/sumia, gaius/robin | bramblestar/squirrelflight, lionblaze/cinderheart, hollyleaf/fallen leaves (honorable mention for bluestar/oakheart bc i do love me those classic and tragic Forbidden Relationships but hollyleaf falling in love with a literal ghost is just too good of a concept and is therefore slightly higher in the rankings)

Day 16: SullyxSumia, Soft
A/N: I went with more of the emotional flow of the story with a soft setting. Plus, Sully’s hard to write
Sumia had finished yet another book as she sat it down next to the stack of books she had built up. She was on the seventh book of the series and could easily finish the final three in a day’s time. It was a romance series, and the main protagonist had fallen in love with seven suitors so far in a weeks’ worth of time. Rather than enjoying it, she was starting to become very very frustrated with the protagonist. Why couldn’t she just pick?
There was the very dashing prince the protagonist first fell in love with...oh wait, he ended up being a egotistical jerk. Oh, and the charming thief that stole the protagonist’s heart after he took her coins...wait, he never returned the coins, now did he? The farm boy back at home...no wait, he married her sister. Sumia looked up at the ceiling and sighed.
She remembered now. This girl’s luck was just as awful as hers in the course of love.
Chrom, her prince, had ended up marrying Frederick out of all people. Of course, his loyalty to Chrom did probably eventually win Chrom over. The dashing thief in her life had found solstice in Cordelia, her best friend who was like a sister to her. If she were to be more realistic to herself recently, her first love. The farm boy, Donnel, was just simply too young to get married. Sumia huffed. She wasn’t going to find love like this. She sat up and stretched, and then got started on book eight.
“Fantastic, another love interest,” Sumia spat out almost in annoyance as she closed the book. In frustration, she grabbed the tenth book and opened it to the end. She was done with finding out who the protagonist…
Oh.
Whoops.
The protagonist ended up marrying her companion that had travelled with her the entire time...of course. Sumia smiled a bit, but she thought it was a bit of a cop out, since most novels played this troupe. She threw the book like a little child and turned around. Maybe she should stop reading for a bit and focus on a new activity.
“Hey,” Sully walked in her tent unannounced, as usual. “I’m gonna steal your...why is your book on the ground, opened so irresponsibility?”
“Uh,” Sumia looked away. Sully was only in her bra and underwear, which is something that shouldn’t have been a shocker to Sumia by this point. What confused Sumia is why she cared so much. Sully was a beautiful woman, strong, and brave. Those muscles carved into her as naturally as a statue, and her six pack was obvious.
“Hey, what’s up?” Sully walked over, fixing the book. “Did someone die in the book or something?”
“No,” Sumia hid her face in the pillow, trying to cover her blushing.
“Nah? Then why’d ya throw a perfectly good book?” Sully looked at it and placed it back in Sumia’s lap. “Something bothering you?”
“N-no.” Sumia buried her head deeper in the pillow. She was beet red by this point. She had a half naked goddess in her room and didn’t know how to react. She couldn’t really show she was attracted to Sully, since she didn’t know Sully’s preferences, but Sully stood up.
“Alright, whenever ya get over whatever the hell happened in your book, come talk about horses with me.” Sully stretched.
“It’s night time…,” Sumia noted as Sully laughed.
“Yeah, guess it is,” Sully smiled at Sumia. “I can talk about horses with ya in here, right?”
“Yes!” Sumia breathed in relief as she moved the pillow away as Sully’s face immediately turned red. “What is it?”
“You look really cute.” Sully confessed, a bit red. “I don’t know why the hell I said that. I think I’m tired. I’m gonna crash here tonight, I think.”
“Oh! Like a sleepover?” Sumia smiled softly. She was actually relieved to hear that Sully wanted to do something like that. It had been years but Cordelia and she used to do that all the time and she missed it in a way. They began talking through the night, mainly about their horses, but Sully finally had asked about the book.
Sumia got the courage to admit the book series had become like a paradoxical loop of bad luck for the protagonist and had gotten boring. She hadn’t been mad at the ending, but got mad that the protagonist spent all that time running around for unrealistic suitors without actually putting herself out there and also when she did, let people step on her as they pleased, only for her to make the same mistakes over and over again.
“So, in short, the series is repetitive?” Sully asked.
“Yes!” Sumia nodded, “I wanted something more than a story about someone that just didn’t know how to make good decisions and still got what she wanted in the end.”
“Well, ya know, Sumia, something more seems to be botherin’ ya.” Sully mentioned, “Maybe I’m just tired as all hell, but she sounds a bit like ya.”
Sumia jumped back a bit, “Exc-”
“Sorry, I didn’ mean to insult ya,” Sully apologized, “You’re takin’ it pretty seriously about this book. Ya mentioned your love life’s been a mess, right?”
“Y-you listened?” Sumia was surprised.
“It was borin’, but ya, I did.” Sully confessed as she nodded, “It’s important to ya, right?”
Sumia was taken aback, but nodded.
“Sounds like this girl got the same issue. Can’t find love ‘cause they’re too smitten with the idea with love.” Sully laid on the bed, “Not a bad thing at all, but somethin’ to consider. Can I ask how it ends? I’m not readin’ that shit.”
Sumia laughed and nodded, “Yeah, she ends up with her best friend.”
“Oh, that’s neat.” Sully’s lips pierced, “I figured that’s how ya’d end up, honestly.”
“Huh?”
“You end up with your best friend. You seem to like that childhood romance thing. I know ya always had a thing for Chrom. I mean, everyone does.” Sully laughed, “That was a joke. I dunno, it’s not as obvious as Cordelia…”
“You’re engaging in girl talk. You must really be tired.” Sumia laughed, “Let me move my other books, and you can sleep in my bed.”
Sully nodded as she snuggled in the bed immediately and collapsed in a coma. Sumia had a hard time sleeping, so she started on a book about an adventure. Then, she felt Sully’s arm. She must have grabbed Sumia in her sleep as she pulled Sumia closer.
Sully’s skin was so soft. For someone that should have had scars and calluses came with next to perfect skin, with a few scars here and there. Sumia finally yawned, not bothering to move Sully’s arm. Maybe...she’d end up lucky like the protagonist, ending up with her best friend.
Sully.

rally spectrum, galeforce, and inspiring song!
Rally Spectrum: My first thought was spd because it’s so necessary and good, but I don’t actually like using most myrms and swordmasters. I think the answer is still spd, but only if it’s accompanied by a decent attack stat.
Galeforce: This is hard and very dependent on the game. Of course there’s Ryoma and Camilla in Fates, but they’re always kind of brokenly powerful so I’m gonna count them out here. One that comes to mind was my Chrom!Morgan a while back. He was a griffon knight because I wanted one and it made more sense than getting rid of Minerva for Gerome or Cherche. He had galeforce and was generally a really memorable unit, both because of how good he was in combat and the adorable headcanons about Morgan and his pet griffon. Stepping away from the 3DS games altogether since they have higher stats in general and the most recent one I can think of is Lute in my current FE8 file. She’s super defense blessed, this is a screenshot I took of her stats a while back (it’s went up even more since then, it might be at 16 by now? I forget exactly). Imagine a character who can double, has the attack to easily kill, and can tank. It’s beautiful.
Inspiring Song: I don’t know if I can just pick one, so I’ll just go with favorites across the entire series. I haven’t listened to it too much since I’m still playing through Echoes but it’s soundtrack is beautiful and I definitely have some songs from that game that will become favorites. Path of Radiance has my overall favorite soundtrack in the series and some favorite songs from that include Lion King Caineghis, Brave General, Brave King, The Black Knight is of course a classic, and although it’s a remix of a song from FE4 and not original to the game I love Side Battle too. Radiant Dawn includes some classics too but to be honest nothing is coming to mind from that one off the top of my head except one battle theme I forget the name of. Awakening has another of my favorite soundtracks across the entire series, and as an unpopular opinion I actually prefer it to Fates soundtrack. Id (Purpose) is a beautiful song and really great and iconic to the game, and I love Id (Sorrow) too. Don’t Speak Her Name is also gorgeous and a very emotional song, and it’s presence really made chapter 10 incredible. For the most part, I actually wasn’t a huge fan of Fates soundtrack, though it has great songs too. Lost in Thoughts All Alone (all of it’s versions) is a gorgeous song and I still get it stuck in my head from time to time. I also love A Dark Fall as a map theme, Thorn in You is a beautiful song too and easily on par with Don’t Speak Her Name as far as emotional songs go.

Hey doll hey!!!! Today I have a full face of Milani Cosmetics products to review for you. I purchased all the products off the Milani website so the prices you see listed are what i paid on the website. So let’s jump into it.
BASE PRODUCTS:
Primer Perfection Hydrating Face Primer ($9.99 for .68 fluid ounces): A                           This primer is OK. On the website it’s billed as being a moisturizing primer that eliminates the appearance of fine lines, large pores and flaws while also maintaining your skin’s natural moisture balance. This primer did NOT blur the pores or the fine lines. It was, however, pretty moisturizing. This is a white cream primer that leaves a tacky feel to the skin. So far it has kept my face pretty even and despite having face powder on my face feels nourished and not dry. I’ll use it up and then maybe repurchase it depending on how many new primers I discover this year.
Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer ($9.99 for 1 fluid ounce): A++!!             This foundation comes in 45 shades with 18 shades for deeper skin tones. This foundation is billed as being medium to full coverage. I found it to be a full coverage foundation. I had tried this foundation the week it was released and if memory serves me it was a drier more mattifying coverage however this time around it left my skin looking a tiny bit dewy. Now this could be because of the primer and my moisturizer but even on the back of  my hand it had the same finish. This is a beautiful foundation. I feel it’s too heavy of a formula to be used under the eyes as a concealer, but it does a phenomenal job as a foundation. You do need to set this foundation as it doesn’t set down on it’s own. This was a foundation that I had in my collection that I used completely up so I am glad to have it back in my collection. A little goes a long way I only needed 1 pump to cover my full face and a light pump for my neck. I don’t see me getting through a full bottle by the end of the year so I wont need to repurchase this for a while.
Retouch + Erase Light-Lifting Concealer ($8.99 for .24 fluid ounces): A+++!!!                       It comes in 7 shades with 3 shades for deeper skin tones. It’s billed as being a one-step wonder that will instantly erase the look of dark circles, defiant spots and unwelcomed blemishes, delivering striking coverage and a flawless finish and being formulated to give your face a brightening effect. This concealer has medium coverage that does in fact give enough coverage to cover dark circles. I didn’t need my color corrector today when I used this concealer. It isn’t a dry concealer but it isn’t a moisturizing concealer either, it’s someone in the middle of the two things. I purposely didn’t set my under eyes until I was done my brows to see if this would cease and it didn’t. It does have some slip to it so you do need to lightly set it but you don’t need very much powder to set it. The only thing I don’t like about this product is the sponge tip. I wish it would have been a doe-foot applicator instead. I can see myself repurchasing this one when I’ve finished using it up.
Conceal + Perfect Shine-Proof Powder ($10.99 for .43 ounces): A+                                             This powder is offered in 10 shades with 4 shades for deeper skin tones. It’s billed as being a lightweight mattifying powder that is  blended with Lily extract to tighten pores and keep skin fresh. Bamboo powder absorbs oil, ensuring you stay shine-free for hours. The vegan formula provides medium to buildable coverage, for shine control that’s perfect. I only used this powder to lightly set my foundation and it left my skin looking airbrushed. It did not emphasize my pores or my fine lines, and it didn’t emphasize any texture I have around the outer perimeter of the face. I didn’t need to do any touch ups all day. This is a finely milled buttery smooth powder that doesn’t leave you looking cakey, in fact I got up close to the mirror to see if I could detect the powder on my face and I couldn’t … It just buffs into the skin so beautifully. I have so many face powders that I don’t see me getting through this compact within this year so I don’t think I will need to repurchase this for a long while.
Baked Bronzer ($8.99 for .25 ounces of product): B+++!!!!                                                    This bronzer is offered in 3 shades. This is a satin finished bronzer that is subtle. I used 3 passes of the product and barely got a light coverage of this bronzer. This is a good natural makeup or no makeup day bronzer. This is billed that it will give your face a perfect glow and your complexion a bold, warm vibe that offers a streak-free glow with a smart shimmer finish. It buffed into the skin well without being chalky or cakey but like I said it’s a subtle color payoff. There isn’t anything bold or vibrant about it. It’s nice and I may use it on no makeup days and maybe even light makeup days but this is definitely not an every day bronzer for me. As a side note… for being a satin bronzer this one isn’t as shimmery as some of the ones I have recently tried … that’s a great benefit.
EYE PRODUCTS:
Most Loved Mattes Eyeshadow Palette ($19.99 for .43 ounces total): A+++!!!!                   This palette is billed as having 12 full-color matte eyeshadows that deliver captivating glamour. This palette is amazing!!! I have always shied away from Milani’s eyeshadows. I don’t know why, but I just always thought they weren’t going to be good. Boy was I wrong!!! They are pigmented beyond what most drug store palettes are. They are finely milled and not chalky. There is some kickback with in the pans but I had no fall out at all. The shades blend out beautifully and do not loose pigmentation when buffing the colors into one another. This is a great every day palette. I was so impressed that I am already planing on purchasing other palettes from Milani.
Stay Put Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil ($7.99 for .04 ounces of product): A- This pencil is billed as a waterproof gel formula with super-saturated pigments that stay and slay all day that stays exactly where you put it. I chose to give it an A- because this pencil does in fact transfer to the lower eye area (a problem I don’t normally have with eye pencils). This formula is so creamy and so super black that even though it does transfer I will work around that. It doesn’t smear. It doesn’t skip or tug at my lids. It is in face waterproof… I tried to get it off the inner corner of my waterline and had to go in with Bioderma to get it off, and even with that I had to rub pretty hard to get it off. This is a great Florida Heat eyeliner. I will definitely be reaching for this pencil a ton this year. I so wish they would come out with a nude eyeliner in this formula.
Stay Put Brow Color Pomade ($7.99 for .04 fluid ounces of product): A+                            This pomade is offered in 8 shades. It’s billed as  having superior staying power with up to 16 hours of wear time. There is a learning curve to this pomade but once you get the hang of it the result is pretty. I did notice that it tended to skip on the bald patches of my brows but with a bit of finessing I was able to get the bald areas filled in. I felt that it had the added benefit of sort of glueing my brows in place. I’m trying to grow my brows out so they are a bit long right now so I did have to go in with a brow gel. Even with that the pomade did not fade or move or lift off. The undertone of the color I chose is perfect. I don’t normally like to use pomades because I feel like my brows always come out harsh but because of the undertones in this pomade it doesn’t look that harsh. I really like it and can already tell i will be reaching for this one a ton as well.
Dangerous Lengths Ultra Def 3D Mascara ($9.99 for .27 fluid ounces of product): A       This mascara is billed as giving the smallest, sparsest lashes a dramatic lift featuring a weightless, blacker-than-black carbon pigment with a 3D, multi-edged spoolie brush that delivers audacious length with instant deposit — amping up the definition, separation, lift and curl of your lashes. My lashes look so wispy and long. I really like this mascara but I don’t like how heavy it feels on the lashes… I feel like I’m wearing false lashes with how heavy this mascara sits on the lashes. It’s still really good, but I think I will have to use this one only once in a while because of how heavy and noticeable the mascara feels. This is not one I will repurchase but I will use the one I have up.
CHEEK and LIP PRODUCTS:
Rose Powder Blush ($8.99 for .60 ounces of product): A++                                                    This blush is offered in 6 shades ( some mattes and some satins). This formula is a bit chalky and dusty but it buffs into the skin well. It’s not overly pigmented so you don’t have to worry about going in with a light hand. It has good pigmentation it’s just because of the formula it isn’t overly pigmented. I did notice some kickback in the pan but not a lot of kickback. I ordered 2 more shades of this blush. I like how it looks on the cheeks.
Hypnotic Lights Holographic Powder Highlighter ($12.99 for.30 ounces of product):A++!! It’s offered in 4 shades. This highlighter is Allure’s 2018 Best of Beauty Winner. It’s billed as being universally appealing, and compatible with a diverse range of skin tones, this glamorous holographic highlighter is designed with light-reflecting pearls to cast a captivating and hypnotic glow. I don’t understand the reason it’s called holographic because it’s more a duo chrom finish, but at any rate this is an AMAZING highlighter!!! There is no glitter and does not emphasize texture on the face. It’s super pretty and even more so when you go in with a damp brush. It buffs in well and melts into the skin when you use a setting spray. I have so many highlighters that I don’t see me going through this one anytime soon, however it’s so pretty that I am afraid it will get discontinued so I will be purchasing a back up.
Amore Soft Matte Lip Cream ($8.99 for .21 fluid ounces of product): A+++!!!!                        It’s offered in 24 shades. This lipstick is billed as having a revolutionary, super-saturated formula that dries to a soft, glamorous finish to give you fuller-looking lips. Its double-sided, flexible plush applicator hugs the contours of your lips, working to lock in bold, opaque color. Our soft matte lip cream is non-sticky, smooth and perfect for fearless, all-night wear. I love the way this lipstick smells, it’s got a cake batter scent to it. There was a small learning curve to this one too. At first when I applied it I had put a full on layer and when it dried down it was uncomfortable and crumbly. So I wiped it off, applied a lip balm, and then applied 1 thin coat and it felt amazing. It’s long lasting, having to only apply it 1 time more through out the day. I have tried several lip products from Milani but I had never tried the matte lipsticks. I really like them and have plans to purchase more shades. From the drug store this is my favorite matte formula.
Make It Last Setting Spray ($9.99 for 2.03 fluid ounces of product):A+++!!!                            This is a Primer+Corrector+Setting spray. This is billed as being a 16-HR setting spray that will lock in your makeup to make touch-ups a thing of the past. There is a scent to this spray that I can’t place but reminds me of my childhood… I don’t know what it is and that’s driving my crazy…. but it’s a pleasant scent. The nozzle on this one give a perfect mist of product. It dried quickly and left my skin looking perfected. I really enjoyed trying this setting spray and will be using this up and will definitely repurchase it, however I think I’ll be the 6 ounce bottle next time.
Well that’s it for this review. I thank you for sticking with me till the end. Stay tuned tomorrow when I review for you a full face of Physicians Formula makeup products. Until then remember my beautiful spoonies (and non spoonies) save a spoon for a but of makeup.
XOXO
