Vox headcanon time! 📺💙🦈

Right so I've had this for a while so I might as well put this out there, cause idea is so cute to me I can't.

Okay so we all know Vark, right?

Well here's an idea.

Well, meet Vark and Bark! (Vark obviously being the hammerhead and Bark being the other one)

I've always liked this idea of Vox being such a dog person when he was alive and the thought of him having 2 massive huskies he could cuddle when things got tough is sweet. Vox was a CEO, and instead of hiring bodyguards like a normal person he got guard dogs. 2 huskies that can rip apart someone's flesh with just a click of Vox's fingers and he loved them with all his heart.

When someone crossed him he'd just give the order, watch Vark and Bark claw and rip apart a body with a smile, gore and all and then be like "Do my babies want a treat, do my wil' babies wanna snack?" like nothing happened

Which is why when Vox died he spent his first week in hell just wondering if his sons were okay. Until a few years later when Vox is in an aquarium, 2 sharks slam up their noses against the glass to look at him and follow him pressed up against the glass wall. At first he's like 'What the fuck' but when he realises it's them and that his dogs ended up in hell with him he buys them. Not for sale? Don't care, he's the CEO of Voxtech, He'll buy the goddamn aquarium if he has to.

And that's exactly what he did.

(PS. Alastor fucking hates Vox's baby voice, with a passion. He's like "stop talking like it can understand you it's an animal" and Vox gasps in response)

Vox’s story

this is for @g0dwat3r, couldn’t find the original post to add to it, but here’s your Vox story.

      It was a long day for Vox. While it wasn’t unusual for the days at the studio to be endless, today was different. His devices across Hell were still having problems after the public encounter with Alastor, so he couldn’t distract himself with menial tasks. He sighed as it was time to lock up now. He didn’t have anyone to pester, as Velvette and Val were busy doing who knows what. So he thought he’d go to his quietest friend's home. As he walked up to the half-submerged ballroom-sized room in his mansion, he produced a key from his pocket and entered. 

   “Vark?” Vox called out, looking for the abnormal shark. The shark didn't always have to be in water, in fact he could survive on land despite having gills, but he preferred the water. So Vox sat on the edge of the tank and removed his boots, rolling up his pants where he made sure the wires there were waterproof. He put his feet in the water and called again, a fish from a cooler nearby in hand. 

  “Vark! I’ve got food.” He called again, then a large form appeared, swimming fast towards the surface. Vox, ready for his antics grabbed the umbrella and opened it to protect his face from the wave of water as he jumped out to the tank and nabbed the fish from the air, landing next to Vox. Despite the threat to his circuitry, he laughed. “Hello to you too.” He reached over and patted his head. Vark leaned into it, licking at Vox’s fingers while swiping his hat. Vox let out a false gasp and grabbed for his hat that Vark had simply put on and stood. Being several heads taller than Vox, it was not an easy reach. 

   “You ass!” He laughed, reaching for the hat. “Give it back!” The shark did not in fact lean down to give his hat back, in fact, he strutted a circle around Vox tauntingly. The night stretched on until Vox finally forgot the horrors of his day and went to bed to be TV ready the next.

Random Vox & Vark Headcanon (ft. Eeliot)

Vark was a gift from Eeliot (Vox's personal assistant) and a few other employees.

It was after a particularly bad breakup with Valentino and Vox was doing the "I can't think about it if I'm working" thing and definitely overworking himself. Vox's employees know better than to get directly involved in his relationship drama with Valentino, but they also don't want to just do nothing. They decided Vox needed a sizable distraction, one that would also provide some emotional support and affection when things (inevitably) got shitty with Valentino again.

They "gave" Vox Vark by literally opening his office door just enough to shove the shark pup inside before bolting (Vox of course knew exactly who had been involved in this little stunt because he can literally see through the security cameras but hey an attempt at discretion was made). Vox had no idea what the fuck was happening and just watched the puppy wander curiously around his office with a big neon blue bow around its neck. Then the shark pup made the realization that he was not in fact alone in the room and very eagerly made his way over to Vox and Vox did not know how to process that this thing was not afraid of him in the slightest. Vox has literally never had a pet in his life. His parents never allowed it and he was just too busy as an adult to even consider it. He thinks this is a ridiculous idea. Absolutely absurd. Who in their right mind would think he has the emotional capacity to care for another living thing?

Then Vark falls asleep on his foot and Vox spends the rest of the day researching how to care for shark pups.

(Not even a full day has passed before Vark has his own Sinstagram account courtesy of Velvette who is very rapidly filling it with photos and videos of the newest member of the Vees; side headcanon that Velvette is a secret animal lover and may or may not have lost her collective shit when Vox entered the common area carrying the shark puppy)

(Because actually extracting the words "thank you" from Vox is something that is just not happening, the employees involved simply find a quiet bonus attached to their next paychecks)
