Thanks for the links, anon, and I’m sorry if this is a disappointing answer, but I seriously doubt Taehyung is in Qatar.

For one thing, while the guy in the video seems to have some similar clothes, he doesn’t really look like Tae.  I could be wrong about that, obviously, but his build doesn’t seem the same to me.

My main issue with this theory is the logic though.  Jungkook is in Qatar for an official schedule, which means he had people there for him at the airport as he flew out of Korea and when he arrived.  He’s been constantly surrounded by a big team of people and a bunch of security.

If Taehyung was traveling with Jungkook out in the open, he would need security too.  I really don’t think he could just be around Jungkook on the outskirts of the entourage.  What would happen if someone spotted him and he didn’t have security too?

We can assume that if he was going for a work schedule himself, he would also have been seen at the airport in Korea flying out, and he wasn’t, so that would mean if he was there, it would be for personal reasons -- since this is a TK blog, I’m assuming anyone wondering about this is wondering if Tae went to Qatar privately to be with Jungkook.

But why?  It’s not like they can’t be apart for a few days, assuming that they are in a relationship.  So why take the risk of potential exposure, and possible security issues, all to have Taehyung secretly join Jungkook for a work trip?

I’m sure they’re able to travel privately, at least to a certain extent, when they want to, but that would require actually traveling privately.  Jungkook is not doing that, so that means automatically that the likelihood of Taehyung being able to tag along without being recognized, and therefore without any risk to himself, is pretty slim.

I’m sorry, but the chances that Tae would tag along on this trip, which is clearly for an official schedule and is being treated accordingly, are just extremely minimal.  If we learn otherwise, I’ll be the first to admit I was wrong, but I don’t see this one panning out, I really don’t.
