One of my fav TomMatt headcanons is how Tom was the first to crush on Matt, and became a total simp for him, being nicer to him, closer, and even doing things for his occasionally. He didn’t think his hints were so obvious because Matt didn’t seem to pick up on it, but unbeknownst to him Matt is simply such an oblivious idiot that he only connects the dots when Tom rest against him and lays his head on his shoulder
