Sea Serpent stitch for @hellodollstuff

The sea serpent is finished, and now the text is finished. Just gotta sew the two pieces together. (After I remove the guide-threads, of course.)

Since @hellodollstuff’s Tonner dolls are named with monster and mythology names, I thought the sea serpent design was fitting. I always imagined this like a bolster pillow, sitting on her dolls’ couch or across a bed.

I took my bjds down to try on clothes today. I got a package from @hellodollstuff recently with things for both the guys! She made the striped shirt (He has more than a loincloth now!) And the shirt and jacket for Iseul.

I ordered my dream dress for Ji a few months back, and I'm delighted with the fit of it! I have tights to go with, but they need washed. @dollsonmain 💚

Iseul still needs a faceup, and the unnamed fellow needs a ton of work, but seeing the head on his body is really giving me ideas for what he'll become. I love them so much!

I did more sewing, I made a ton more socks in different lengths as well as shirts and a couple skirts too that I finalized the pattern for.

I used a bunch of different fabrics, some come my personal stash and some from @hellodollstuff and @dollsahoy (thank you both)!!

Anyways, be prepared for a ton of photos!!

So now I have basically finalized the sock, shirt, skirt, and shorts patterns. Now I can add those to the others I need to digitize and share.

I love the way the striped top looks with the dot skirt. :3

“Yaoi-Legs” unbranded body (name courtesy of @dollsonmain​) arrived. recognizable by the dots on her shoulders, moulded nips and legs for weeks. Find her at aliex /item/10000293849427 ($5) item/4001136022441 ($3) or eBay item number: 224060648314 ($6.5)

Poseability is amazing, she’s got lovely curves (will take badonk photo later) I’ve included close up photos of her hands and feet in case any recognizes them. The waist joint was stuck but with a little gentle wrangling now works great. She fits barbie clothes but those long jeans are short on her LOL. She’s ABS except for vinyl hands and feet. The gift hands are not jointed and are ABS, I used them for the obligatory sweary picture (rumored to be from the 100 year war where what are now brits threatened what are now frenchmen with the loss of their archery and sword wielding fingers). She can stand alone.

The Ànna head was an impulse purchase, my sis sent me a euro in payment for fixing up her cedar wood with aliexpress bought hands and a dremel as minidrill to fix the melted mess the previous owner had made supergluing the peg in. This euro showed up as exactly $1.59 in my paypal which was exactly the price of Ànna’s bald head so I pressed buy. (see aliex item/4001120863249.html) It felt right. I’m kinda besotted with the @hellodollstuff​‘s custom curvy Anna /post/185278255866/

So it’s 5AM so it’ll be at least 3 hours before I can get out the dremel and shorten the legs at the thigh and possibly at the lower calf but the feet (unlike the hands) have a little knob on the end of the peg that clicks into place so that could mean losing some strength in the feet joint. Holding a pale ABS dolls upto the light means you can see exactly where all the inner bits are. I may be too tired by then so it’ll go into the project box. I’m hoping the mod the neck anchor slightly and maybe put the MIO Pullip from Cosmo on it.

After seeing @hellodollstuff and a few other people I follow post about/ Talk about Doll Inventories I think I might also do a doll inventory soon. At this point I’ve honestly lost count of just how many dolls I have, beyond “over a 100 I think”. Taking inventory would be very helpful, and it gives me a good excuse to really go through my doll box

Seamed, Stuffed, Finished!

It took another hour to finish seaming, then at least 45 mins to iron everything. It ended up wider than I planned, but I was nervous about not having enough room for the wings. Didn’t want them too close to the seams.

I am covered in tiny snippets of fabric threads, but I’m so happy it’s done and has turned out so well. Yay! I hope @hellodollstuff likes it
