i keep getting leaders who have rlly sweet close relationships with their kits and it makes me emotional. nightstar made her kit her deputy and now fallowstar leads their clan....brightfeather is a troublemaker who most of the clan dislikes but her mum banksiastar adores her and made her deputy as well...warmstar is the first leader of a two cat starting challenge and gullgrove is her last remaining kit + last 'og' clan member with her and theyre best friends and do everything together

Spiderstar, aka Big Mama

A cunning leader, Spiderstar is well known for two things:

manipulating others to get her way, and the absolutely brutal training she has in her clan. 

A warriors rank or title in the clan is often determined by their strength in battle. While she usually doesn’t get her own paws dirty now, Spiderstar very much earned her place as leader, and can be quite the formidable foe herself. She’s only been leader for a handful of seasons, but she’s well acknowledged by both leaders of the other two clans. She currently has 8 lives left

This is Diamondmask! The main character of that fanfiction i’ll probably never write

I created her a lonnnnggg time ago (but less than a year ago i think?) and i wanted her to be kinda like,,, the cringe protagonist we see in almost every fanfiction? Since she’s a mostly white female with « diamond » in her name who’s also rejected by her clan and who was chosen by her ancestors etc, and i suprisingly got really attached to this character

So, after her creation i tried to think of how i could make her interesting while keeping all of those wc ocs tropes and i dont really know if i managed to do that but i like her and thats whats important for me so

She comes from an AU, with different clans, cultures, etc, and her clan, the Hiddenclan, lives mostly in caves/underground. Since this AU is made to be more,,, fantasist than the original series, some of the caves are covered in all kinds of gems and cool stones that you’ll probably never see in the same place, and having them in a cat’s name is pretty common especially in this clan

Also, every clan get a special cat (called Children, mostly one per clan, sometimes two) with a « power » (called Gifts). Diamondmask has one, and it’s the ability to copy another Child’s Gift. She finds out her Gift pretty late and she’s not reaaally happy about it (since its copying something thats making a cat cool). Gifts comes with, of course, a really cool power most of the time but it makes a Child behave differently from the other cats and has other downsides to it

Also she has social anxiety and thats pretty bad when you live in a clan

And this fanfic’s main themes are neurodivergency (Children being pretty close to neurodivergent people) and ableism

i have so much more to say about this character and fanfic but im. Sooo lazy so huh yeah

Since my clangen is taken a while due to a plethora of things like Depression relapse, many many failed attempts via either corruption or me getting bored and starting over, and now its me spontaneously wanting to start multiple clans at once! 😅

So heres some spoilers and wips for now, these arent all leaders, just more rando cats, Rootclan is missing atm because I'm taking a smoll break, and I decided to theme the 4 clans over the Fear Responses, I've already written origins and rules for each clan.

This is only the clan themes, not the storyline itself. It plays a bit into the storyline, but I like to make the storylines more expensive than just one thing, and it's a clan generator. after all, anything could happen.

@cathedralwc inspired me to make my own fanclans so here are the first sketches for the leaders in each clan. (Hi I’m that anon who keeps bothering you)

Jaystar- he/him -leader of MistClan

-extremely small bastard stinky man. Short grey fur. Always starting fights. Literally an asshole and everyone hates him. Starts a war over nothing. Probably bc he’s so small. Really soft fur tho. Also really striking and stunning bone structure.

Hawkstar- he/him -leader of GladeClan

-HUGE FLUFFY MAN. Amazing. Everyone’s favorite dad. Really long fluffy warm brown tabby fur. Loves babies and hangs out in the nursery to tell them cool stories. 10/10 wonderful all around. Also handsome af. Great teeth. Always tryna help other cats out. Literally who doesn’t love him?

Ravenstar- she/her -leader of HiddenClan

-really long black fur that drags on the floor as she walks. An absolute unit. Really pretty dark lavender eyes. A depressed witch. Had a secret affair w Hawkstar oop scandle. Literally always looks depressed. Jaystar thinks she’s a witch and cursed his clan. She bullies him for fun.

(Will make a separate post about each clan in more detail later. Also will post the updated code for the clans and reference pictures of what the territory looks like. Figured I’d get the ball rolling now tho w my bird leaders whom I love)

WELCOME TO THE SHORE

Hiddenclan are situated on a beach and have taken haven in an old shipwreck. They've been recently dumped on the remote island with no twolegs in sight but other clans have been spotted; none of them want to be too close to the shore, so they keep their distance.

Updates will be drawn in comic form and clangen will come up with most events but there will still be an underlying story/premise.

All art related posts will be tagged with #hiddenart, updates will be tagged also with #hiddenmoons, and asks with art will be additionally tagged #hiddenanswers. Text only answers will be tagged with #hiddentext and nothing else. This is for convenience of looking at the posts you want and blacklisting

Certain cats are owned by friends. Honeypaw and Thistleskip are owned by @turnaboutsisterz , Softtail is owned by @roobjoshi and Peachwish and Websight are owned by @stargloom! What happens on this blog with these characters should not be taken as canon with them specifically as this is my own clangen story, isolated from anything else

His breaths came out hot and labored, muffled by the wriggling pile of fur in his mouth- the only thing he'd manage to save from the ruins of their former home. They clouded in the cold spring air, reflecting the sinister moonlight above. They reminded him that he needed to move. Fast. He practically flew across the plains as he sought sanctuary in the only place he knew to be free from the wrath of the blazing sky above- The tunnels. There, they would be safe. They would be protected. They would be hidden.

The Main Clans and Groups

Decided to give yall some more base info about this AU while i work on art and specific story arcs for the many, many characters.

For this au, we have only 3 clans, Nightclan (Foot clan and associate), Sunclan (Hamatos and their allies), and Hiddenclan (Big mama, and various other yokai n mutants i felt would fit). 

There are also, however, a couple rogue/loner groups, such as the Krang Gang (made up of the krang and a few others) who are most similar to how Bloodclan are in the official warrior cats books. They’ll be a recurring problem in this au though, not just a one and done.

The mighty mutanimals (from 2012) ALSO have a group in this au, though they haven’t formed just yet, and i also don’t know what imma call em yet once they do form.

switching gears back to the clans, lets give yall a lil more info on those: Nightclan’s current leader is 2012 Shredder, formerly Poppystrike, currently Shredderstar. Ever since the first Shredderstar (Rise Shredder) every leader takes the name Shredderstar. Its a title. The current Deputy is Tigerclaw (2012 Tigerclaw, his name stays the same lol)

Sunclan was formed by Lotusstar (Gram Gram Karai from Rise) many many many generations ago. She split off from Nightclan after her father became corrupted by cats from the dark forest and became a tyrant. She founded Sunclan. The current leader is Ratstar (Bayverse Splinter), and the deputy is Blueleap (03 Leo)

Hiddenclan is Currently led by Spiderstar (Big Mama), and is the most diverse character-wise. We’ve got everyone from Usagi to the criminals Raph met during the ride along episode. Draxum USED to be in this clan(he was the medicine cat), but has since left and is currently a rouge
