I may be stupid, but what is gajinka? 😅

thank you so much! and there are no stupid questions!!! a gijinka is basically a humanised version of a non-human character! so for example the hollow knight characters are all bugs, my gijinka designs are just humanoid versions of these designs! ive seen ppl also call it "humanisation", it's essentially the same thing

Sometimes I remember one poll that was about someone's idea about fanart for hollow knight, and the choices were between a in game design for white lady and their gajinka(human, idk how to write the word) design of white lady, and the amounts of votes for the in-game design compared to their design kinda made me feel bad, but in the same time, they did ask the "we like bugs" community if they prefer seeing the bug related tree, or a human.

“The knight”

Hello hollow knight fandom it’s me, your local bone stealing gremlin from bonebottom /j

So I got back into Hollow knight, made it to the fungal wastes and then drew this in while the vibe of the game was still fresh in my mind.

Anyway, this is my human like version of Ghost. Their cape was a bitch to shade because I realised halfway through I made it too colourful. I wanted to make them as gender neutral as possible, even trying to draw the face, but in the end I kept the mask since I liked it. 

Anyway here’s a crumb of content, I’m probably gonna draw Hornet next.
