hypnophilia did a reblog of my post quoting the highlights from John's camera blog and it's not letting me re-reblog the whole thing here cos we both did "Read More" links, but the part I want to talk about is she mentioned a couple of things that she thought would make good fics and said I should write them. WELL, I'm quite flattered that someone thought of me as far as fic-writing goes so thank you for that! It's been far too long since I've written anything that way so I perhaps should take inspiration from this stuff. You know what else I should do? Post links here to all my previously-written fics, which are currently only available on my two fic LJ communities. So I will try to get on that soon.

Yeah. It's odd; it feels as though I'm just now beginning to learn what anxiety really is. Or rather, it's revealing its nature to me in pieces. Like "Oh, today you've learned that it's a health limitation", or "Oh, TODAY you've learned that it makes you feel physically exhausted after having a rather large bout of it", or "Oh, /TODAY/ you've learned that, when you're trying to speak to people, anxiety makes it so you've got no words". And I just learn them in bits and pieces and it's like I don't really understand it at all and them BAM something happens to make me learn something. Yeah. Bad times indeed.

Philia Series Poll #02!

The first voted prompt of the Philia Series has been chosen!

Endytophilia (clothes/wearing clothes during sex) won! I've already started writing it, I'm excited for how it's turning out.

I've decided that I'm going to complete five fics before starting to post, so I feel better about how slow any updates might be. These are all standalone one-shots, and the two I have fully finished are a lot longer than I intended these to be, so! Who knows how the rest will go.

how does tumblr RP even work this is a strange and confusing world I have stumbled into and I'm afraid

(ooc: it CAN be a very confusing thing but once you get used to it it becomes simple! here's a handy little guide for it that somebody else has written up, although now xKit Next is better than Missing E (unless Missing E's been updated with the new tumblr blogging style and I missed it?).

But yeah look into xKit Next instead of Missing E. Otherwise, everything should still be pretty much applicable.)

Anyway, tagged by the effervescent @steddieas-shegoes to post a paragraph of my WIP! Choosing which one is TOUGH I gotta say, but here we go <3

There's also just something about the vulnerability of sleeping, unlacing the defensive curl of his body until the whole front of him is open, hands resting so casually beside his head like he'd put no thought into it - it drives him fucking crazy. He tugs his sweats down just enough that the top of his pubes are showing, moves around until his shirt scrunches at the bottom to bunch around his waist, and gets into position, elbows up above his shoulders as he lets his leg tilt out to the side. Casual. You can't blame someone for being a gay slut while they're just laying there, asleep. There's no seduction involved, and therefore it's not Eddie's fault if Steve's either turned on about it. And he's putting himself into Steve's hands, trusting him to keep him safe when he falls asleep, even if he desperately wishes he'd undress him and touch him everywhere. Steve wouldn't do that, though. So he just settles for the orchestration of a way to show himself off without getting caught. Plenty of people have rumpled clothes and an open position when they sleep, and if Steve notices the change from acting more like an armadillo under the blankets to the slight arch of his back, he'd likely just think Eddie's gotten used to sleeping beside him now.

From the hypnophilia fic that won't be posted for ages <3 (There's a few ahead of it, at least that's what I've planned) But it won the second poll and I got inspired pretty quickly so I started writing it last week! What that really means is that he and Steve are starting to live in each other's pockets, learning more about each other everyday, getting used to each other's habits and expressions and thoughts. At first, when nobody was visiting either of them - the kids in school, the others in the party doing their job thing or their college thing, and Wayne at work or still dealing with The Aftermath - they would go to their separate rooms, Steve in his cage of plaid nightmares and Eddie in a more neutral guest room, and hang out by themselves. But living together meant they ate together usually, shared enough of the same spaces that their conversations went further than the topsoil of logistics and small talk, starting to get back to that place they'd been headed back when Eddie had learned that Steve was honestly pretty fucking decent. They do their daily physio stretches together, otherwise Steve will forget and Eddie will put them off until "tomorrow", and despite the A/C, Steve always fucking takes his shirt off for them. Sure, it probably helps him, fabric against Eddie's own scars tends to feel a little rough and he knows Steve doesn't like to feel constricted when he's trying to move. And Steve doesn't know exactly what he's doing to him because Eddie will never, ever, tell him.

He goes about trimming his pubes, not taking too much away, just enough to create a nicer transition from his treasure traill to the base of his dick, listening to the muffled sounds of Steve singing in the kitchen, trying not to feel weird about any of it. Again, he's not crossing a line, despite his intentions. He's just. Taking the lid off of a silver platter, and stretching out across it. He'd even put an apple in his mouth if it got Steve to touch him. He cleans up the bathroom and heads into the kitchen like he's up to nothing at all, the trimmed hairs at his pelvis rubbing against his boxers and making him so aware of them.

Oddly enough I had to search through most of my WIPs to find this word. Clearly there's something wrong with me!!! I need to start mentioning it more in my writing!!

Steve, for his part, is a quiet sleeper. Sometimes he gives a soft little sigh that has Eddie biting his lip to hold in his own louder, dreamier sigh, and his eyelashes always look so neat and delicate against the skin under his eyes. He's pretty, when he sleeps. Even when he hasn't shaved for a week and is all scruffy, even when they've both been eating like shit because keeping up with daily meals without pizza delivery or going to a restaurant is hard when you've both been chewed up and spit out recently.

I won't list all of them because it's a LONG list but here are some of the WIPs I have that will be finished and posted sooner rather than later:

Odaxelagnia is a kink where individuals experience sexual arousal from biting or being bitten. This fetish can range from light nibbling to more intense biting that can cause wounds and bleeding.

Graphoerotica is a form of sensory play that involves writing words or phrases on a person’s body using a variety of materials, such as markers, lipstick, or even food. The words can be anything from simple terms of endearment to explicit sexual fantasies.

And then the two poll winners, I'm not sure when they'll be finished and posted but they're in progress:

Endytophilia is a type of fetishism where a person experiences sexual arousal and attraction towards individuals who are wearing clothes.

Hypnophilia is a type of paraphilia in which an individual is sexually aroused by the thought of sleeping or watching someone else sleep. This fetish involves the desire to engage in sexual activities with a sleeping person or to be the sleeping person.

Anything else is either something I haven't started, or something that I'm slow cooking and have no idea when they'll be done. But even with using polls to whittle down the options, I still have a LOT. Like 36 including the 3 I've posted so far. I might have to make another poll once I finish a couple WIPs!
