Noritoshi checking (again) to see if everything is okay in his mother's life (while making sure to act normally bc it'd suck if people start to notice/recognize him and think of him as a stalker).

His (new?) halfsibling comes to talk to him (his mother is busy w/ something) and asks his name. Noritoshi answers (good manners are important! (and automatic ngl)) but doesn't ask back (he's not sure if he wants to know).

They talk for a bit.

His mother comes to get his halfsibling and go back to their home and thanks him for entertaining her child.

"Thank you, mister... ?" She says, with the intention of learning his name. It's the second time they see each others, she isn't suspicious. Her life is going great, and he looks kind. He said they've never met the first time she talked to him, but after two encounters why not change that? (She still thinks he looks familiar)

He hasn't said anything since she walked toward them.

"Noritoshi." Her (youngest) child completes the sentence for her.

Her smile drops.

His guts twist.

(He should've not come back to check if she was still okay.)
