I’ve always thought Matilda was a lesbian (and the idea of them being in a relationship has always intrigued me sm) but lately I’ve just rly been thinking abt them since I had to start a new save like halfway through act 3 bcuz I softlocked myself. So I’ve been seeing their interactions and dynamics with act 3 info and! There’s just sm potential there for angst and I think it would make their relationship dynamic in general soooo much more interesting… Trudy doesn’t just feel betrayed in a professional sense but a deeply personal sense too… Matilda (who already DOES want the best for the people in the town but just thinks it should be done differently than the people want) kind of doesn’t want her charade to be over and feels more compelled to be someone likable. Ofc she’s a professional, so I don’t think Matilda would actually let those feelings get in the way of her job, just maybe make her long for less complicated circumstances..

Idk I think abt them delusionally sometimes.

going back into watching american cartoons (especially modern ones) and comparing them to japanese anime is just. how did i ever watch anime. like, i've seen some really good anime, but watching cartoons is much more pleasing to look at. rarely ever have i been so obsessed with the animation of an animated show as i have been with cartoons. like hazbin hotel, nobody is ever just standing there. they're all idly moving in some way, subtly shifting positions or just blinking. when alastor is talking to charlie in her room (episode 7 or 8 i think) he moves around on her bed a lot. he's swinging his legs, he's shifting his arms into a more comfortable position, he's never truly still. whereas in anime, if there is not something actively happening with the characters, like walking or fighting, they do not move. rarely ever do they blink just because thats what people do. and the lip-syncing is generic as well.

i get that its a style thing, and i'm not upset about that. i'm still gonna watch both types of media. but it's nice to see background movement that doesn't add anything to the story other than giving it a bit more love and life.

oh geeze, thanks! 💚💚💚 I'm really glad people enjoy my stupid sense of humor; mostly I just draw things to make myself laugh, and if it makes other people laugh too, then bonus points! usually it's just one joke or mental image that gets stuck in my head (every time I saw Fellow spin his cane, all I could think about was him go-go-gadgeting away on it...) and in my quest to justify it, it picks up other jokes and bits along the way and usually doesn't even end up as the main focus anymore. entire narrative arcs have spun out just so I could use a single bad pun in a throwaway line. this is a terrible way to explain it but I'm not sure how else to put it into words!

Jazz wasn't crazy. People might argue that burning her childhood home to the ground with her parents still inside would be an indicator of insanity. But how else was she supposed to react after coming back home from college to find out her parents had brutally killed her brother via vivisection?

Dying her hair blonde wasn't crazy either before anyone asked. Plenty of girls dyed their hair when they needed a change. Besides, she could never live with herself if she kept the same hair color as that vile woman.

Admittedly Jazz would have to secede moving to Gotham had been a little crazy but it was the perfect place to start fresh and blend in despite her "quirks". She had even picked out a nice new identity for herself.

Clearly Jazz was not crazy as she had managed to land a job at Arkham Asylum as a psychiatrist. If she were really insane would they have ever hired her? No they wouldn't have.
